They are not efficient in the kitchen. Dine in orders compete with drive thru orders and online orders or they simply lose track of orders. One grill for all? Ruins the dining experience. Its also clean. There's a variety of items on their menu ranging from burgers to even tacos and mexican dishes. I ordered the double cheese burger combo and the burger tasted great. It had good flavor and taste. The only thing I thought was plain were the fries. I'm not a big fan of salt but even a pinch of salt would have gone a long way. They were definitely missing something. And thought the portions of fries was kind of small compared to the size of the burger. The ambiance was pretty relaxing considering it was a saturday evening. their oreo shakes are algo good. Hate to do a 1 star review. But the burger was horrible and it was not the same burger we used to eat a year ago. This was a special place saved for special occasions and the burger was a restful best burger in Whittier. All of sudden the taste went away maybe the unfortunate passing of Rick did this? Service can be a bit off putting but that could have been an off day for the worker at the register. they get your food out in a decent time. Open kitchen so you can see them keep food when you're at the cashier. The day I ate there I stayed the night before at the doubletree across the street so I just had to cross the street which was nice. I also got to meet Rick and his wife. EAT HERE Don't think twice about stopping at Rick's to grab a burger! Not only is it an affordable option in Old town Whittier, but the food is also absolutely delicious!
