ANB has become a great lunch break option for me around La Puente as of late. I've come here on two occasions now while I was working in the area and both times have been positive experiences. The location is on a busy street and parking spots are very compact and usually occupied, but you can also part on the street. The drive thru gets packed too but I usually dine in. The service has been great here and the food comes out lightning fast! My go to order is the number 12 which is beef + chicken teriyaki bowl. The bowl is the perfect amount for lunch and the food is served hot and fresh. The portion is appropriate for the cost and not to mention it's delicious. The bowl is packed generously with all that protein! The restaurant has plenty of booth seating and there offer a self serve ginger and yellow peppers section to add to your meals. This place serves really bomb teriyaki bowls! I will say the prices are a bit higher than what I've seen but the quality is pretty up there for the rice plates. I got the chicken bento special which comes with california rolls, shrimp tempura, and dumplings. Chicken was tender and moist as well as the rice being cooked well. Brown rice is an additional $1.50-$2 which is a bit steep imo but it is what is. Miso soup comes hot and is certainly comforting. Great service! read more

Ordered take out for lunch and my order was ready much earlier than when I put the order in. Nice to get there and have it read, but still warm and good to eat! They give you lots of condiments too. I got a good amount of wasabi, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, ginger, etc. I got the: 1) Teriyaki Beef Bowl: -Comes with thinly chopped green onions. -Huge bed of rice and a decent amount of sliced teriyaki beef. -The meat was drenched in teriyaki sauce and there 's a good amount of sesame seeds on it too. -Despite all the sauce, the meat was still a bit too tough and dry. -After my hunger satiated, I got kind of sick of the texture and couldn't finish this bowl (was less than halfway into it...). -Sadly I'd skip out on the teriyaki beef and that kinda sucks since this IS a teriyaki place. 2) California Rolls: -ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. -Hands down some of THE BEST CA rolls that I have ever had before and this is in comparison to the stuff that I've gotten at Japanese super markets, at AYCE sushi places, and at other teriyaki places. -Rice was moist and soft, but NOT mushy. I could easily eat this with chopsticks or my hands, the texture was that perfect. -The imitation crab was also mushy, but in a good way, along with the fresh soft green avocado. -Divine with soy sauce and wasabi. -I'd order an entire catering tray of this if I could, it was that good. I might come back to try a different teriyaki bowl in the future, but for sure the CA rolls are a MUST here. read more
