They responded to the call very quickly, and started the work the next morning after a visual inspection the afternoon before. The work was done on-time and with first-rate craftsmanship. This building is around 60 years old, and they left the room in pristine condition; it probably looks as good as it did when this building was first constructed. Tony, the firm's owner, also did a great job of keeping me informed over the 2 days that were needed to do the repair, patch, and pain work (reaching the pipe in the space between my ceiling the above unit's floor was incredibly awkward and difficult. The workers themselves were happy to fill me in on the progress and what they were seeing as they did the work. All in all, Appease gets 5 stars from me, and i would use them again in a heartbeat.

However, after he'd started demo, and temporarily (and incorrectly) roughed in some connections, he got COVID and was unable to complete the job (despite my waiting for over 8 weeks for him to come back to work). It's a rare breed of contractor that will finish a job after another has started it, but to Tony and Robert's credit, these two gentlemen came in with the utmost professionalism, gave a fair price and then delivered on the job. The process of remodeling is notoriously stressful, however Appease Builders helped make it as easy as possible. The crew was so reliable - showing up every day early, working steadily and completed the project just one day over our anticipated schedule - which is an amazing feat all things considered. Additionally, Tony is super responsive and serves as one point person for all aspects of the job, which was a huge benefit to me with the demands on my time for work. For this job, I needed new electrical installed, for recessed lights, new utility box for the washer, new vent for the dryer and water heater plus fully insulated. dry walled, primed and painted. Now, the garage is really transformed from a dusty, dark, dingy spider haven to a clean, bright, pleasant space -- adding much appreciated and infinitely more useable square footage to our home. Our first encounter with Salty Electric was when a light switch stopped working in one of our kitten rooms. Our Cat Medical Supervisor looked up a couple of nearby options online and called a few places to get quotes. Most respondents wouldn't even come out to look at it for under $75. Salty Electric arrived within 10 minutes of the call and fixed the problem for less than the price quoted for just a quote with the other local electricians! A couple of days later, we had routine maintenance on our AC unit that didn't seem to be functioning. When entering the attic, they found one of the electrical conduits had caught fire. We called Salty Electric, and they were out within the hour. They replaced the burned-out conduit and noticed it was residential wiring, which it should not have been. They quickly switched it over to commercial in addition to rewiring our electrical box. We later had them come out and make sure the rest of the building was up to code. Every time they have been called, they have responded immediately; they seem to have reasonable, competitive pricing. They are very skilled and quick at what they do, and they are very clean and organized. It's rare to have contractors work on the building and not leave tools or a mess behind.
