Great way to start a date night, girls night, or any outing with friends. Smaller interior space with a cozy feeling. We have been making this a regular stop before dinner lately & for our Sunday outing. Drinks are very well made & many good options to choose from. With mixed drinks & tastings Whisky, Gin, vodka. Also a little retail area to purchase all there products including shirts, sweatshirts & glass wear, drink mixing bundles of some of there specialty drinks. Staff is amazing very friendly, informative & good at making the drinks. Also a fun spot to bring your out of town visitors for a couple drinks.

I finally made it to Anchorage Distillery off C Street, not to be confused with Alaskan Spirits Distillery on King Street lol annoying. It was Black Friday and I was meeting my new friend and fellow Yelp Elite, Daniella. It was a bright and clean atmosphere. Lots of product for sale at reduced prices. I enjoyed my very first espresso martini here. It was more cinnamon based (as opposed to chocolate?) but as someone who still doesn't drink coffee regularly, I was pleasantly surprised. For my 2nd cocktail I got their Hawaiian Xmas drink. We yapped so much the distillery was closing by the time we finished off our 2nd so I can't comment on a third. The bartenders were knowledgeable and fast. I can't wait to return to try other cocktails on Anchorage Distillery's rotating/seasonal menus.

Coffee collaboration with kaladi brothers! They have a new watermelon Columbia coffee, so good! $14 each.

It's a perfect spot to just enjoy a great cocktail and food truck food (changes weekly). The service is great! Order right at the bar with the bartenders and see your drink made on the spot! Chill spot overall.. enjoy the art, have a chat, and maybe do the distillery tour!

Wow! What a fun experience. The menu has many options, including alcohol free! I have enjoyed every sip I've had here and am exited to try every season menu. Grab some take-out, your dog and a yummy cocktail! There is limited seating but very cute and comfortable. The parking situation is terrible but otherwise a good experience.

Went here twice in my two weeks in anchorage. Super cool merch! I ended up getting a t shirt, but seriously considered the sweatshirts, drink glasses and more! Cool vibes here and I loved the ability to see the bottles being labeled in the room next door. Lots of great seating options for a smaller place! Staff was super friendly and the menu has a great list of drink options. I wish that I could've tasted more whiskey in my drink, but would definitely come back again to try all their other drinks!

1st friday special it was delicious. This is the bees knees no seriously that's what the drink is called.

We decided to come out on a first Friday. We were happy that we did. I will say the only downside to this place is the parking is atrocious. And the winter that we are having doesn't help facilitate any street parking. But that's not truly their fault so I didn't take away any stars for that. The drinks were very well-made, the staff was very friendly and nice. I really like what they did with the place adding more seating. I would like to see them if parking becomes better, maybe open up more areas in the brewing area it's fun to sit near the machines that make the drinks.

Although Anchorage Distillery is tucked away in a more industrial part of town, the inside is cozy and welcoming and the drinks were great. The bartender informed us that they rotate their menu regularly, with the more labor intensive drinks being on it in the winter when there are fewer customers coming through but I really liked the two drinks that I had (whiskey based with foam and a gin based drink with lime). I overall thought it was a lovely place to meet with friends, chat, and catch up all while looking at the distilling process and I hope to be back soon.

Awesome spot with great cocktails and gift selection, plus the bartender is wonderful and super sweet and personable each time we've visited. The location is small an intimate and probably a bit more difficult for large groups but perfect for groups of 4 and under. Dog friendly. Plus awesome unique anchorage items like hoodies/cups/tumblers. I bought myself a hoodie and I've been stopped regularly asking where I got it and I always send everyone in this direction! Enjoy!

I was excited about this place however the drinks were weak and lackluster. The seating area was also very small and gets loud quickly. Sadly, it was a disappointment.

I love this place!! If you are visiting Anchorage or a local to Alaska..definitely make it a point to check this place out! The outside doesn't look like much and it's located in an odd area. Once you enter, it's not what you would expect at all. Of course, unless you've seen pictures of it already (cheater). The inside of this distillery is perfect! The decor and layout..I absolutely love it. Speak-easy ambiance is my kind of vibes. It's such a chill atmosphere and the view of the distillery while you sip on signature cocktails is great. Gotta love those twinkly lights to set the mood as well. Drinks Are Awesome!! Anchorage distillery specializes in vodkas but they do have whiskeys and gin too. Their signature cocktails are mixed perfectly by the most amazing mixologist there. She truly is the best ever!! She had awesome recommendations, so I tried the porch swing and the forget me not cocktails. They were both reeeaaallly good, my favorite was the forget me not. These are a little on the sweet side. I've also tried the old fashion and this is usually my type of drink and it was done perfectly. My husband is a whiskey person and he really enjoyed the "hello mom" and the "SquarePants". I also sampled the ghost pepper vodka, whoooo weee it's good, but the burn is there! Service is top notch!! I wish I got her name but the bartender there is amazing! She brings the entire place to life and is very knowledgeable about the product. Super accommodating and overall just a superb person! We will definitely be back!

Really clean, inviting space. Great merchandise for sale and solid cocktails. Go with the fireside mule if you like spicy. The best bargain is probably your choice of 3 spirits for $6 or 6 spirits for $11 (1/2 oz pours), but that gives you the best natural taste of what they make in-house. They specialize in whiskey, rye, gin and vodka. The staff was pretty friendly. I only wish they had more comfortable seating like the two chairs by the door. Your butt gets sore on the hightop stools after a while. Good thing Alaska state law stops you at two rounds per person.

The room has a high-energy, lively vibe without ever feeling overwhelmingly loud, and you can tell why the chef earned a James Beard nomination. You definitely need a reservation; they have a few walk-in spots, but they go very fast, so you will want to get there right when doors open if you do not have one booked. The beverage menu is very well done, with great cocktails and thoughtful mocktails that felt just as crafted. For food, our starters set a high bar; the pork buns, pickles, and octopus were all flavorful and well prepared. The ramen itself was delicious and hits the spot in the Alaska weather, with deep, tasty broths and bold flavors throughout. The Dark Horse was especially good. We did not have room left for dessert, but the savory side of the menu more than delivered.

My husband had a couple cocktails and I had a couple NA cocktails. I was really impressed with the NA cocktails -- they were complex in flavor and not overly sweet. Husband was also impressed with his drinks. For appetizers we got the pickles, pork buns and takoyaki. In my opinion the pork buns are the way to go. I also enjoyed the pickles and there were a good garnish with other dishes. For ramens we got the dark horse and Tokyo rich tsukemen. Wow wow wow, they were simply excellent. The broths had so much flavor. The tsukemen was a fun dish with having to assemble it yourself and dip food into the broth. Pork belly serving was very generous. Some of the best ramen I have ever had. If you are in anchorage you need to eat here!

That being said the sauce was great. The grappa sauce had amazing flavor and the Marsala sauce also had great flavor. Plus the funghi appetizer was great with the bread. All of it was enjoyable enough for a return visit. This spot has very friendly staff, they move at a classic Alaska pace. It was late in cruise season so ended up just being 4 of us which made this an even more amazing, intimate experience. I cannot say enough about what an incredible experience this tour was. To even call it a tour seems inaccurate since it felt more like we were picked up by an old friend that we hadn't seen in a while who wanted to show us the best of Alaska. I highly, highly, highly recommend this as an alternative to a simple bus transfer to Anchorage. The initial 2 hour drive through "postcard Alaska" was breathtaking and Bryan shared a ton of information about the area, including the earthquake that altered the area topography in amazing ways. The tram to the top of Alyeska was stunning and lunch was tasty among such a gorgeous backdrop. The first brewery in Girdwood was by far our group's favorite stop. Every beer was delicious, our host, Jake, was fun and knowledgeable, and they made us feel like family. We could have stayed all day. The second stop at the Anchorage Distillery was super informative, the staff very friendly and the cocktail was superb. We ended at Double Shovel and could not have asked for a better ending to the trip. We were met with a gorgeous day sitting in the open air tasting room and sipping on the tastiest ciders I've ever had. They're truly masters of their craft with a cider for every taste. Throughout all of this I cannot stress enough Bryan's professionalism, kindness, and depth of knowledge about Alaska. You can tell he takes immense pride in what he does and that he's forged deep and meaningful relationships with the vendors on the tour.
