Service was very slowwwww, there doesn't seem to be a sense of urgency. It was not very busy on the Friday night we went. It took probably 20 mins to order after getting seated. Loved the espresso martini, garlic mushrooms and chicken piccata. This is definitely a great date spot but just be mindful of the long wait.

Every time I come here, I am blown away! Last night was so special and I had time to get to know some of the other frequent flyers, try some new drinks, and have some social time with the family. Truly, a hidden gem! Shrimp scampi and an old fashioned to start & then Tiramisu and a raspberry espresso, martini... chefs kiss.

The bar. OCD special. Perfection in the presentation.

I've been wanting to try this place, since a another passenger on a flight to Alaska told me all about it. Dr. Jeff was his name. He told me to order the Dr. Jeff special Manhattan when I got to the bar. However, I had already ordered another cocktail, which was a Manhattan, which was probably pretty close to what Dr. Jeff would've ordered. Went there with some locals, who highly recommended the place as well. We did get there by 4 PM, so we did get a table. We were greeted at the door, by the maître d'. She was great. She asked us if we wanted to sit in the restaurant, or sit in the bar. We chose to sit in the bar. Great choice! We got to see the master bartender at work, Ully, I think is his name. Many, many cocktails were being prepared, with everyone really enjoying what they were having. For entrées, I had the lasagna, which was quite good, and it was so big I couldn't eat all of it. Some other items on the table, were the seafood Alfredo, with shrimp that were so big. And another dish was the chicken parmigiana, which was a very large serving as well. Everything that came out of the kitchen was piping hot, you had to wait a moment to even eat it. Great vibe in this place, with the ambience being quite good. It's a great little local establishment. I plan to go back, on one of my future trips. Thank you.

They say the hallmark of excellence is sustained superior performance. I would like to welcome you back to Fiori D'Italia. We decided to return for a celebration and without question, the food was as excellent as my first visit. They joy and the atmosphere was absolutely intoxicating. Our server, Mona, was absolutely sunshine in a tiny package. I cannot tell you enough how grateful I am that Fiori D'Italia exists. It is Italy in Alaska.

We had never been here before, and we had a great experience. We were here on a Sunday before the memorial holiday. I had heard to get here at 4pm when they open or you will wait. We were the second people to arrive that sat in the main dining room and the booths were full when we left but I would say they were definitely slower than they would probably be on a regular weekend. I got an espresso martini and it was the best one I've ever had. It had whiskey, vodka, espresso liquor, and crushed espresso beans on top(I think) like a powder. It was $16 but worth it. They have quite a list of cocktails as well as wines. They make their own whiskey and I wonder if they had a whiskey flight they would do. Maybe next time? We also got the fried mozzarella which were so good. I order the fettuccini carbonara which had fettuccini noodles, black olives, mushrooms, and Canadian bacon. The noodles were so soft and tender, the olives were rich, fresh mushrooms, and Canadian bacon was fine. Didn't really eat any of the Canadian bacon. We got salad and garlic bread with our meals. Both were pretty good. For dessert we had the tiramisu. Was nice as well. The service was fine, we weren't ignored and two ladies went back and forth at our table. Inside has a lot of decor and liquior bottles everywhere. %5 charge for use of credit card. Which added $5 to the bill. Eh. Nobody else does this but they seem stuck in 1970. So beware of that or bring cash. We will be back.

Couldn't place a pickup order because of a 2 hour wait. So I went in, sat at the bar and ordered. 90 minutes to get food. That's fine, I was told they had a full house on a Wednesday. Enjoyed chatting with the locals. The caprese, halibut fiori, and seafood fett, Caesar, garlic bread were all really good

This truly is a hidden gem, tucked away in a residential neighborhood. I consider this Anchorages best Italian restaurant. They do not take reservations so come early and be prepared to wait a bit until you get seated. It will be well worth it. The restaurant itself is quiet and offers a cozy atmosphere. The menu has a wide variance of your favorite italian dishes. We ordered the Veal Marsala and the Lasagne with a Cesar Salad. As started we had the mozzarella sticks served with marinara. The veal was cooked perfect and it tasted great with the Marsala sauce and mushrooms. They have a great wine list alongside tasty cocktails. We will definitely be back.

The service was on point. They have a massive whiskey bar downstairs. They have an excellent menu of craft cocktails. They also have excellent mocktails. I will critique their bourbon selection only because they have a number of bourbons that are 18+ years old that they're trying to sell for Scottish and Japanese prices which are based on reality. Bourbon is not any good out of the barrel past 12 to 14 years. Corn is not the same as grains. The sugar is degrade and get dark after 14 years in spite of some companies selling some of their older swill, trying to get rid of it as premium. They were very nice. I gave the bartenders and recommendations of things that actually are worth that kind of money in the bourbon world. There was plenty to find that was not expensive and quite excellent. The only negative? The Host stand at the top of the stairs needs people who have more pleasant personality. How you greet people in the restaurant is absolutely imperative. It sets the tone for the whole meal. The whole experience. They seem to think that their job is to shoot people off because the restaurant is booked, but they do it in a manner that will make sure people don't come back. It's a little too New York curt. Smiling, and some good grace, would not hurt either of them. When they tell you, it's time to be seated, engaging people and making eye contact would certainly also help them look a little more human as well. Do make reservations. Otherwise, the wait time can be very long. Outstanding food! Absolutely worth passing through the gargoyles at the front door

First they said they were moving things around implying it would be a few minutes. 15 minutes later I went up and he said 5-10 minutes to wait. 15 minutes later still nothing and they tell me another 30-45 minutes and acted appalled that I had checked in. Not worth dealing with them so I left. Ambiance seemed great but ramen isn't worth rude staff so I left.

Our waitress, Katie, was simply amazing. We had a party of six, and she didn't write down a single order--yet every meal, every side, and every drink came out exactly right. We were all impressed! Her attention to detail, friendly personality, and professionalism made our dining experience exceptional. The food was phenomenal. The halibut bites were perfectly crispy and delicious, the dill salmon was fresh and flavorful, and the filet was cooked perfectly--tender and full of flavor. The blueberry beer was also fantastic and a unique local treat that paired wonderfully with the meal. With our reservation, we were seated pretty quickly, and I thought the restaurant had a cute nautical feel inside. I ordered a cider, and Colby ordered a glass of wine. For our appetizer, we shared the chowder sampler, which, being from Cape Cod, I had never seen before. The presentation was super cute, with each chowder served in its own tiny mug. All three were delicious and tasted freshly made. For my meal, I ordered the fish & chips, which were very good. I was a little disappointed that one piece of fish was missing batter on one side, but overall everything was still quite tasty. The bathrooms were clean, and I found the staff to be generally friendly, aside from a few comments that we chose to let slide. Overall, this was a really nice spot for local seafood, and there is plenty of free parking outside. We would definitely recommend it if you're looking for fresh seafood while visiting Anchorage.
