Oh man, I got 3 mosquitoes bite when i was barely laying down to get my combo massage, I wanted to do a 90 minute combo because I wanted my feet done too, I usually just do the body massage but today after work, my back felt weird like is twisted/uncomfortable to sit so I went here because I know they have a couple of male masseur who works here. I been here before in the past 2 years and I also get the owner, he changed his name to Sky, he was really good in getting those knots out. But anyways, before I came here, I called 3 other places and nobody picked up, I'm assuming they're busy so I came here instead. What a big mistake, I was opting for the inexpensive price. I didn't called or anything, I just walked in, is a Monday, how busy can it be, right ? So they placed me in the middle bed and he didn't close the curtains, I could hear the lady next to me taking 2 calls from her kids about groceries shopping, then on the other side, an old grandma was talking really loud, her daughter told her to keep it quiet. That's when I felt my left leg started itching while the young MT was massaging my head, then I felt a second itch on the same leg, I sat up and scratched it while the guy went to get the gloves and oil to do my feet, I kept moving my legs because it was itching really bad, then I felt another itch on my right leg, I got up and I saw a mosquito is sucking my blood and I smashed it, I showed the guy and he just chuckled, the lady owner walked by and I showed her, she didn't say anything, she went to get a napkin for me to wipe the smashed mosquito and blood off my leg, no apology or anything, she just walked away. Both my legs were itching so bad that I couldn't relax and stopped the guy, I told him, I'm done, is finish. I can't relax or enjoy the massage because my legs are itching. The lady charge me $20 for 30 minutes and I gave the guy $10 tips. The lady offered me some tiger balm for my legs and I put some on, she asked if I wanted more because she sees it was bruising up really bad, I said no and left. I got on the 10 freeway and is traffic, my legs are itchy and burning at the same time because of the tiger balm. I was sweating, is not good. I should of just stick to my regular place across the street, Ocean Beauty & LH foot massage, is about the same price. Don't come here unless you like loud talking, dirty covers, is rough and smells, thinking about it just makes my body itch, and worse of all, MOSQUITOS bites, eat you alive. Now I need to exfoliate my whole body. In a way I'm kinda thankful for the mosquito bites because the guy sucks at massaging. read more

This spot happens to be near one of my close friend's house so I've been here a few times when I had some time to kill before/after seeing her. I knew this spot would not disappoint!! I usually get the #2 or the #5. The #5 is $15 for 25 minutes of acupressure, 20 minutes of foot reflexology and 15 minutes body massage. This is my favorite spot for a "$15 foot massage" in the San Gabriel Valley. This time, knowing my body and feet needed extra TLC, I got the #2 which gives you 45 minutes of acupressure massage on a massage table and 30 minutes of foot reflexology -- all for just $25!! What a deal :D I got David and he was very nice. I was seated in the front corner area and he went and got the hot water for me to soak in. I was trying to endure the hot water because I knew my feet needed it, but he actually went and got cold water to make it more tolerable for me :) I guess my facial expressions are obvious in any language. I soaked my feet for 15 minutes and David came back and gave me an AMAZING 30 minute foot massage... He could feet that my feet were damaged. I felt so much better afterwards!! After that I went to a different room where there were massage tables and curtains separating each massage bed. A majority of the massage session on the massage table was face down. David was able to get all of the kinks out of my shoulders and my neck that I have accumulated from my desk job. I could tell he really knew what he was doing! He just knew where to apply pressure without causing pain. Normally I feel like they cheat you on time, but on this visit with David I feel like I got extra massage time!! I gave him $40 and said he did not have to give me change. He was very happy and he told me he is there everyday except Thursdays. I will definitely come by when I'm already visiting my friend in this area!! This place is really inexpensive and the massage quality is really good... but the workers can get a bit chatty. I've never left a massage so pissed off and appalled. I paid for a Groupon that included a foot massage, body massage and hot stones. ONLY the foot was enjoyable. Here is my list of why I had issues: 1) he didn't care when I told him he hurt me. He said "I know what I am doing. What I am doing is safe" and continued on. I was in so much pain from his elbow digging into my lower back, that I was grinding my teeth, while my whole body was clenched and my hands is fists. He continued on doing what I told him hurt. And I prefer firm massages. This wasn't firm. Is was an inexperienced guy digging his elbows into my back. 2) though in his pants, his genitals landed in my open palms (laying face down, with my palms up), not once, but twice 3) he told me the massage was over, when I asked about the hot stones, he said he didn't have time. I told him That I don't care, it's not my fault he managed his time inefficiently. He said "no I solved your problem, I got your knots." No. He argued with me, until someone else argued with him in their own language. The setup is your typical asian massage place. Don't imagine a private room to start with or staff in professional uniform. Here, you are paying for the quality of the massage, not for the atmosphere. So just keep that in mind. The basic breakdown of a foot massage (but is really a full body massage), is they first have you sit to soak your feet in warm water and massage your head, neck and back. They then have you lie down on your back and massage your legs and feet. After, they move you to the back to some private rooms that are dimly lit and separated by curtains, where they have you lie on your stomach and finish with massaging your arms and lower back. This is all done within an hour. GOODS: -Inexpensive: Best price for an amazing massage. -The masseurs and masseuse are very kind and have very soft and strong hands. They will adjust the pressure to your liking, just let them know -I had Paul, and he was AMAZING. I prefer the strongest pressure and he was able to do it the whole way through (an hour session). He also cracked my neck, back, and other places which I love! He was also gentle so I was never in pain. -One of the things that made this place stood out was that Paul focused on areas where he found knots and actually worked them all out! Most massage places that I go to, the masseurs and masseuses just go through the routine without really paying attention to problem areas, even when you ask them, like my shoulders -First massage place I've been to where they keep you fully clothed! They started talking Chinese, and it seemed like they were checking upstairs (where they give the full body massages) to see if there was space. I guess they couldn't make it work so they told us to wait a little bit more b/c 2 girls were finishing up anyway. Immediately after they tell us that, a guy comes over and asks what we kind of massage we would like. I say, 4 foot massages, which is the $9.99 one or #6 on the menu. He tries to upsell us to #5, which is $15. (Note: The #5 accupressure massage consists of the foot massage with a 20 minute head and shoulder massage within the same hour. They are quite clever in this aspect. Now, let's think about this for a second. They charge $5 more by taking the minutes that *would have* gone towards massaging your feet - under the guise of making the customer feel like s/he is getting an added bonus of a head and shoulder massage- which mind you, takes a lot less effort. Because I walk & run a lot, I rather have all the attention go to my feet/legs and with that price, I'll take 2 foot massages please.) I proceed to tell him, "No, it's ok. Four #6's." But then he goes, "Yeah yeah, but #5 gives you head & shoulder too. It's better for you." I say, "Yeah, I know, but we want #6." He was kneeling down next to us because we were sitting down waiting for the chairs to open up. He literally gets up and walks away while clearly talking trash about us in Chinese. Then, he turns around mid-walk and goes, "Come back in 1 hour. No room for you." WTF. We all looked at each other - astounded. We were amazed that they turned down four people just for $20 more that they would have collected had we all opted for the $15 massage. Not only did these clueless guys have lost 4 customers for life, but they also have no idea that negative word of mouth travels like wildfire. I mean, who talks crap about customers in their native tongue in this day in age...in a recession! I am still in shock, writing this review, that a massage place turned away customers for massages?! Seriously, why are these idiots even in business if they don't want to give foot massages and turn away business? That is like a restaurant turning away customers because they want to order food. Look, Beavis - Don't be bitter and mad at paying customers because you hate your job and/or life. That's a personal problem so take it up with your therapist or mama. These guys have serious tempers, anger management issues, or too much pride that obviously gets in the way of providing their services. It was a spit in the face. They refused our business for wanting to pay for their services. What gives. Which douchebag in here forgot to give their co-douchebag the memo that this is a place of business? They need to get rid of their attitude and listen to Patti LaBelle. There are so many other foot massage places literally on the same street, so please drive on. Do NOT be fooled by that $9.99 sign, which by the way, is FALSE advertisement. Because when you go in and see the menu binder, the $9.99 massage or #6 massage is only 45 minutes. Bunch of swindlers. I have a confession to make: I am a masochist. I derive pleasure from pain. This place is the OPPOSITE of a relaxing zen atmosphere. It's not particularly clean or comfortable. There are constant cellphones ringing and loud ass conversations throughout the room in various languages. On the tables, you will hear all ranges of moans, grunts, sighs of pain/relief. I've even witnessed one masseuse trip and heard 5 others hooting and guffawing for a solid 10 minutes. Still, I keep coming back for more. #5 is my usual foot + table massage combo for $15, but sometimes I get a full body table massage for $25. Plus I try to make sure to tip at LEAST $10 cash because they are just that good. Tommy will beat you up and stretch you out. Not my preferred masseuse... Anderson will beat you up but ask if the pressure is okay, while you admire his shoulder length mane. Jiang will beat you up then lull you to sleep while easing any knots from your body. He is the only one who hasn't snapped my fingers (God bless him). As a finale, he will slap the shit out of your feet and toes. Tek (Tiger?) is a sadist who will beat you up while growling and laughing when you beg for him to ease up. He never eases up. Also plays drums on your feet/toes. Danny may look petite but will knead the knots from your shoulders with the best of them. Michael is also strong and capable. Sunny looks like a gentle young man, but is ruthless and cruel. He will not hesitate to destroy any knots in your shoulders and back. Andy will punish your shoulders and lower back and give you a chiropractic session cracking your shoulders and back in ways that you didn't know you could be cracked. Thomas will beat you up and give you an eerily accurate diagnosis of all of your bodily ailments. Always booked. Aaron will know just where to beat you up without ever asking and carry on a pleasant conversation if you like. Also always booked. There are two different locations in this plaza, one upstairs and one down stairs. I've only been to their bottom room. If you're looking for a nice, serene spa day...do not come here. If you're looking to work out some knots, then this is the place to be! Most of their employees do not speak English. If you get one of their younger employees, then they will speak English. Otherwise, you'll hear them speak Mandarin and you can hear their very deep accent from mainland China. Most of them are older, but don't let that fool you...they are very strong! Even the female employees! If you don't speak Chinese, don't let that stop you. There's a menu right at the front of the door. There's both an English and Chinese menu. I typically get #5, this includes 10 minute back massage (sitting up), 40 minute foot massage, and 10 minute body massage (laying down) for $15. After you tell them which massage you want, they will bring you inside and seat you down on one of their oversized reclining chairs. They will bring you some hot tea and ask you to soak your feet in warm/hot water. You will be sitting on one ottoman as they give you a massage sitting up. They will massage your back, neck, arms, and head. They apply very high pressure, so be sure to tell them if you're in pain. Next, they will work on your feet. Lastly, your entire body. I've been here many times and each one of them have different methods...all good though. During my last visit, the employee was telling me how my sleep quality was poor and my body was too cold and that I had to drink more hot water. He had strong hands, and pretty much know what he was doing. Why? because he was able to feel for knots and remove it. Boy, was I in pain afterwards. But it was a good pain. Whether you enjoy a massage or not, $10 is a cheap price for a foot massage. There's a HUGE sign outside advertising the $10 foot massage, which is a 15 minute soak in hot water and a 45 minute massage. Most people though, are persuaded to go for the $15 foot massage, which includes a head and shoulder rub while your feet are soaking in hot water. I DO NOT like to have hands touching my body (unless it's a lover). I especially dislike strangers' hands touching me. This massage was not by choice. My friend was begging to go for a massage and after much harassment, I caved and agreed to sit for a foot massage while he got the full body one. The place from the waiting area, looked like a cheap whorehouse. Fobby Asian ladies with too much makeup and platform shoes. I requested a man. I got a skinny super-fob boy who hasn't showered in at least a few days. The smell of his body would hit me once in a while and I'd be grossed out by the intermittent whiffs, hoping that he had at least washed his hands before touching me. EEEWWWW. The massage itself was okay. There was some oil involved and I did feel more limber and relaxed afterwards. We talked the whole time after he found out that I can speak Chinese.
