He played with his phone while massaging me with one hand , and the other hand holding his phone . He paused the massage so he can text with both hand, WTF. After all, I still gave him tip, because I felt bad. But then I got upset with myself for gave him tip. I shouldn't give him any. Just don't come here. But if you do come, don't ask for Michael.

I quickly found Lulu relax spa and I appreciate Lulu being very communicative when I requested an appointment as it was my first time, however I quickly realized that I should have went with another spot. The massage was very uncomfortable from the get go because I had an older male masseuse that reeked of cigarettes. I do not want to slander the therapist or business but this was a waste of my time and money. On top of that, he kept coughing and burping throughout my time there. I am a male myself and I have high tolerance for things but I left the session feeling really grossed out, with my whole body and clothes dirty and less relaxed than when I stepped inside. He was kind enough but the massage itself was very formulaic and you could tell he was running through the motions for a pay check. I noticed he didn't even bother to repeat the same motions on both sides of my body and overall he was too rough. I appreciate good pressure but it was borderline painful. Overall, I was too uncomfortable to relax and I still tipped 30% but ultimately I would not come back and could not in good conscience recommend anyone coming here. The massage therapist was polite enough, but unfortunately the massage itself was anything but relaxing. I repeatedly asked her to use less pressure because it was far too painful, but she either didn't understand or chose to ignore my request. Instead of feeling my muscles loosen up, I spent most of the session trying to endure the pain. With about five minutes left, she subtly suggested that there were "additional services" available if I was interested. I looked at her, politely declined, and tried to pretend the conversation never happened. It was awkward and completely unnecessary. As the session was coming to an end, the pain in my neck became unbearable. I finally told her I had had enough and asked to stop early because I genuinely couldn't take it anymore. When I checked out, I left a $10 tip, which I thought was perfectly reasonable considering my experience. She immediately told me the minimum tip should be $20. I've heard this line at too many massage places before, and it's always the same story--asking for more regardless of the quality of the service. I politely refused, paid my bill, and walked out. The real nightmare started the next morning. I woke up with excruciating pain at the base of my neck. It honestly felt like the bones were about to snap. I could barely stand up straight, and every movement sent sharp pain through my neck and upper back. A massage is supposed to leave you feeling refreshed and relieved--not injured. I'm not sure how long this pain will last, but one thing is certain: I will never be returning. What started as an attempt to relax turned into one of the worst massage experiences I've ever had.
