For their lunch buffet, you are paying for the ambience. This beautiful restaurant has been designed really well and the interior decoration is spectacular. The food itself is also pretty good, however, if you are vegetarian, they have extremely limited options here. When we came, they had one mushroom dish and one cauliflower and potato dish for vegetarians. It would be nice if they could at least include one or two more dishes for vegetarians, including a paneer dish. If you eat meat, they have pretty good chicken dishes, as well as an interesting fish curry. Parking is not easy here, as they only have about 20 parking spots that are shared with a few other businesses. Most likely, you will have to park on the street somewhere else and walk here.

Compared to the best-known Indian restaurant in Asheville (Chai Pani), this one is more traditional and more upscale. It's also less crowded, though in my experience there were still people waiting for the weekend lunch buffet here on a nice day. Service was a bit chaotic, and I was escorted to a table, checked on once briefly, and then had to rope in someone to pay my check. The buffet selection was interesting. It was good from a vegetarian perspective, though a vegan would have been disappointed I think (and realistically, the vegan population in Asheville is bigger than in most places). The only lentils were dal makhani, which was a tasty classic. Poori bhaji, a steaming hot serving of spiced potatoes to be dipped in fried bread, is in no way healthy but was as delicious as one might hope. Other options ranged from cabbage pakoras, saag paneer, salad, bread, and desserts. A juice station was available, but there was no tea, and while some people ordered what looked like lassis, no one ever presented the option to me (not that I needed one). Overall, the quality of food was excellent, and the setting beautiful. They could have done a bit better on service and selection, but I would definitely like to come for dinner and order off the menu.

Holy smokes!!!! This is the BEST Indian food I've ever tasted in my entire life. I highly recommend the non-veg thali...it's a sampler of so much deliciousness...probably big enough for two people and super affordable as well. This is THE spot for a nice dinner, not too fancy and not too casual...just right!

Stumbled upon an indian cuisine restaurant and decided to give it. Food tasted fantastic! If you can handle spicy food, ask for hot! I loved the tofu dish and portion was just right. We went with chili naan which wasn't spicy at all and softness was just right. We did get mango lassi, incredible! Only negative was service. Wasn't as attentive and since we didn't make reservations, we got put on the high table near the bar. I guess if you want better seating, make the rsvp. We were just passing by. Price was on the higher side. I'd go again if i'm the area.

A great find in Ashville. Absolutely loved the decor and ambiance. The waiter asked spice level and I found it interesting that they had levels including Indian hot vs regular hot which is slightly milder. Loved the goat cheese Naan. The kadai paneer and navratna kurma was delicious. normally find Navratna kurma can be on sweeter side but this was perfectly spiced. I would give the main course 5/5 but dessert was a 3/5. I would definitely go there for the food and get dessert elsewhere.

Food, service, ambiance, and overall entire experience were excellent! I really loved it here. When you come to Asheville as a visitor, it would not be my first thought to come to an Indian restaurant. Well, think twice. Asheville has a wealth of food to experience, and you should never leave any stones unturned. Experiencing Andaaz was such a treat. It has such a vibe, too. It's trendy and sleek but still offers a family-friendly environment. I did not have expectations walking in. However, I left with high expectations after this visit. I think for someone who can't eat spicy food, they really took the time to listen. I ordered a couple of items (forgot to photograph), and it all came out perfectly. I absolutely recommend the cauliflower and lettuce wraps. Don't skip the Tikka dishes either. They literally have something for everyone. Parking is my only complaint, but you expect that parking at Biltmore Village. Just be prepared to look for it if you're not lucky enough to park in their restaurant parking lot.

This is our favorito Indian restaurant. We love the Gobi Manchurian and ragda. Our new favorite is the crispy spinach is amazing. We did have a problem on Friday all our food was cold and raw. Was very disappointed by it.

I was skeptical about trying this place, which occupies the space previously graced with the amazing Rezaz. I assumed that disappointment awaited me. But on the recommendation of a friend I dropped in for the lunchtime buffet. My meal was next-level great, and while I experienced many things, none of them was disappointment. The decor was exotic, artsy, and welcoming. The service was friendly and efficient. And the food. Holy moly, the food. The basmati rice was mildly herbed and beautifully fragrant. The chana masala had an extra pop of flavor. You know how paneer has a fun texture but is usually a bit bland? Not here. In the mutter paneer dish, extra care was taken to infuse the cheese with its own delicious spice. Dhal is the simplest, humblest of foods - lentils in sauce - but wow, I was blown away by the dhal makhani. The depth of flavor was monumental. There is skill, and experience, and piquant earthiness, and unmistakable culture in this dish. But most of all, there is love. The kheer (Indian rice pudding) provided an exceptional finish. An employee told me it takes the chef 8 hours to make. One taste will convince you - it was well worth the time.

Long story short: one of the best Indian food experiences I've ever had (I'm Indian, so it counts more lol) Incredible food. A buffet at such a reasonable price doesn't even make sense. A waitress with a warm and kind aura. I'm on a road trip and thought about the meal for hours later. A local randomly recommended this place, and I'm so glad I went here instead of the other place I was headed. The decor/art is incredible too. These people know what they're doing. The best meal I had in Asheville, the most kind/attentive staff I had on my entire road trip, and food that was just as gorgeous as it is delicious. Can't even imagine a universe where someone would come here and regret it. I almost told the waitress I loved her on the way out. 11/10.

I made reservations for my brother's birthday and I had a great dining experience. It can be a little difficult to find parking. Inside is very elegant and the servers were professional. I enjoy the aesthetic of this restaurant down to the serving dishes. They serve a variety of naan bread, and they all taste delicious. I ordered the shrimp tandoori, which was amazing. I tried the lamb biryani and you can't go wrong with that. The chicken makhani had great flavor and not too heavy. All the curries were delicious too. Highly recommend!

I had the lunch buffet, and it was really good. The naan was a little "tired" but other than that everything was great.

The meat served rodizio style was pretty good and they have some options I hadn't seen before at a churrascaria like grilled pineapple, fried bananas, and parmesan pork. The buffet portion was OK - focusing primarily on salad, it was missing a lot of the hot side dishes I'm accustomed to seeing. They didn't have farofa out, but brought some when I asked if they had any. The pão de queijo and feijão at the buffet were just OK. Where the restaurant shines, however is the service. Constant flow of food, frequently asked if I was enjoying everything and if I needed anything else. I was stuffed so I didn't try the desserts.
