So much variety! Very happy we came for dinner. Ordered hibachi, ate sushi, at hot entrees. I found all my favorites, like eggplant in garlic sauce, dry green beans, sesame donut balls, Pad Thai, miso soup, spring rolls (both fresh and deep-fried). I didn't have room to try anything on the salad bar or dessert bar. Wish I had room for the custard bun. My dad tried all of the many delicious soups (he said they're a bit too salty though), mussels, noodle & fried rice dishes. Service is friendly and prompt. Staff are always bussing tables, refilling drinks, paying attention. Generous hot tea portions with a ceramic teapot. Family-friendly. Recommend!

This was a very subpar buffet with such potential. The interior was amazing and spacious and the entrance was practically glorious. But it fails in every other way. The sushi was terrible, tiny little slivers of salmon, etc on the nigiri and the nigiri was itself about half of the size you would expect nigiri to be. It made me feel like they were being a bit cheap. The rest, all the rolls just stuck together and tiny and crumbled apart eating with chopsticks trying to pick up pieces. Not good. Over to the teppenyaki (no it's not hibachi, google the difference). You can choose your rice or noodles and vegetables but THEY choose the amount of meat you get. Again, looks very stingy to a customers' perspective. I stopped eating it altogether anyway due to an odd aftertaste and also the meat being as dry as a desert. Lots of selections but none good. Quality control and trying to stretch out the lifespan of food until the health department throws it out is downfall of what had the potential to be an absolutely amazing buffet. Charging customers extra money for using their credit card is the nail in the coffin from a 2 star to 1 star restaurant. Such a shame.

The food was plentiful with many options and service was good. The ambience was nicer than expected for a buffet. I enjoyed the restaurant.

The ambiance is super upbeat and lively. It can be busy, and there can be a wait depending on how busy it is. Though, it is worth it! I ordered the staple, chicken pad Thai!!! Spice level #4! It was delicious, flavorful, pleasantly spicy, and topped with so many fresh vegetables! The crispy spring rolls tasted like heaven!!! The sauce was so luscious and yum!!! I am glad that I stopped here! Cheers.

BBQ - Steaks - Diner Food - Fried Chicken - Cheeseburger and so on and so forth. Last night we went "Ethnic" and by ethnic I'm calling our Thai food dinner exactly that. So, Suwana's Thai Orchard makes lovely authentic Thai food; and for a southern state that's a huge compliment. We ordered (for take out): * Thai Chicken Wings - Fried and Glazed w/House Spicy Chill Sauce which were very good * Thai Fried Rice - Stir Fried Rice w /Egg, Tomato, Carrot, Scallion and chicken was great * Papaya Salad - with Green Papaya, Carrot, Tomato, Green Bean, Garlic, Calamari, Shrimp w/Chili Lime Dressing and Crushed Peanuts - also good * Yellow Chicken Curry - Coconut Milk, Thai Yellow Curry Paste, Potato, Onion Carrot, Tomato - thumbs up * We had one more undefinable dish that was the best of them all. Suwana's was quite good and I would definitely come back!

I was never all that impressed with food trucks until moving here to Asheville. Given the…read morecomplementary relationship with the many craft breweries that don't do food themselves, plus all the local outdoor events for 9 months of the year, there are some truly great food trucks based here. Cassia is definitely one of the top ones. This is some of the best and most original Thai food I've ever had. They are a regular at Cellarest Beer Project in West Asheville. The food is prepared fresh, but the wait is not too long. And if you sit in the right spot, you may be able to enjoy the fragrant scent of Thai food as it is being prepared in their mobile kitchen. We started with the Firecracker sweet potatoes. These amazing little jewels are mashed sweet potatoes wrapped in the same coating as you'd normally have with a spring roll or won ton. They had a wonderful crispy outside with a flavorful sweet potato mash inside. The spicy mayo dipping sauce was excellent, but we also loved dipping these into the golden curry sauce that came with our curry duck. Where do you ever see curry duck BTW? The duck was cooked perfectly and not at all grisly or chewy. The curry sauce was absolutely incredible. Great flavor along with a nice kick. Between eating the duck and jasmine rice with the curry sauce and dipping some of the Firecrackers in it, there was literally not a speck of curry sauce left behind. We also had chicken Laab Gai. The mint leaves in this were really tasty and not overwhelmingly minty. The sticky rice was good. These came with cabbage leaves that you can roll the meat and rice up in to create a sort of Thai taco. This was good, but not at the same level as the duck curry. Maybe a bit more sauce would help. Prices are restaurant level but well worth it given this is restaurant-quality food or better. We paired the food with two fine beers from Cellarest. The Czech-style Moonglade Tmave pivo had great character. The Weald Oktoberfest Marzen lager was also excellent. Both went very well with the Thai food. Apart from maybe the dead of winter, this will be a place we go back to for more great Thai food.

When I ordered the fried shrimp there wasnt any foil to protect it from melting the Styrofoam container. The shrimp app was super legit though just didn't like it seasoned with melted Styrofoam. It is located in downtown Asheville so there is no immediate parking lot but there are some places nearby or street parking, The inside is very modern and there is seating both inside and outside. Our server was very friendly and service was very prompt! My family got the Lo Mein with Chicken, Chow Fun with Beef, Sautéed String Bean, Buddha Bean Curd Rolls, Crystal Shrimp Dumplings, and Spicy Chicken. I loved the Crystal Shrimp Dumplings! The wrapper was very tender and the shrimp filling was delicious. It tasted very authentic to me. I also loved the Sautéed String Bean as it had the right amount of garlicky sauce. The Lo Mein was made with thinner than usual noodles but still tasted good. I think the Chow Fun tasted a bit off. It kind of tasted a bit sweet and like drunken noodles at some points as opposed to the traditional smoky flavor that the dish has. The rice noodles that were used were also thin as opposed to the usual wider noodles. As for the Spicy Chicken, it tasted solid. I liked the slight crisp before biting into each piece and it was not really spicy. I definitely tasted the cumin (I am not a super big fan of), which is a popular flavor found in Szechuan cuisine. Overall, I think this is a nice spot for some Chinese food, especially being near the mountains which is more isolated. I would probably rate it a 3.75/5 stars if I could. I wish chicken feet were part of their dim sum menu (it is pretty small and there are no rolling carts in case anyone is wondering). I do think some flavors of the food I tasted seem to cater a bit more to the Western taste palate (my parents agree as well), but I enjoyed my time here.
