    Changing table for babies

The food was great however the place was DISGUSTING. I'm talking trash everywhere, every corner looked like food was just swept away and never actually cleaned up. Then I took my child into the bathroom to change her and I refused to do it on the changing table. The table was disgusting, the bathroom was disgusting again trash everywhere. The toilets didn't look like they had been cleaned at all. The sink was dirty, no soap in one of the dispensers and only one hand dryer worked but they had two on the wall.

Dry fried rice, extremely dry steamed wontons, etc.

This was a very subpar buffet with such potential. The interior was amazing and spacious and the entrance was practically glorious. But it fails in every other way. The sushi was terrible, tiny little slivers of salmon, etc on the nigiri and the nigiri was itself about half of the size you would expect nigiri to be. It made me feel like they were being a bit cheap. The rest, all the rolls just stuck together and tiny and crumbled apart eating with chopsticks trying to pick up pieces. Not good. Over to the teppenyaki (no it's not hibachi, google the difference). You can choose your rice or noodles and vegetables but THEY choose the amount of meat you get. Again, looks very stingy to a customers' perspective. I stopped eating it altogether anyway due to an odd aftertaste and also the meat being as dry as a desert. Lots of selections but none good. Quality control and trying to stretch out the lifespan of food until the health department throws it out is downfall of what had the potential to be an absolutely amazing buffet. Charging customers extra money for using their credit card is the nail in the coffin from a 2 star to 1 star restaurant. Such a shame.

Lots of choices. Pretty impressive to find such a big buffet in Asheville NC. Surprised but good surprise!

The food was plentiful with many options and service was good. The ambience was nicer than expected for a buffet. I enjoyed the restaurant.

The ambiance is super upbeat and lively. It can be busy, and there can be a wait depending on how busy it is. Though, it is worth it! I ordered the staple, chicken pad Thai!!! Spice level #4! It was delicious, flavorful, pleasantly spicy, and topped with so many fresh vegetables! The crispy spring rolls tasted like heaven!!! The sauce was so luscious and yum!!! I am glad that I stopped here! Cheers.

So, that's how I chose Thai food to close out the year. Parking. It's on Broadway. Check the signs. Don't get excited like me and pull in only to find it's for loading/unloading or handicapped. I ended up just parking in one of the lots. 3 hour parking for $18.50. I don't know if that's the standard rate or if it was inflated for NYE but after having done a few laps, I just said WTH and pulled right in. It was only a block and a half away. The place wasn't packed but bustling with to go orders. We did arrive later and by the time we left, there were only a few tables occupied. Not being busy, but also being sat where we were - service was great. Attentive as we were always within line of sight of the team and all we needed to do was make eye contact. Not that we needed to other than refills and for me, spicy chili powder/sauce. Food was good. Not spicy - but as my friend would say - nothing is spicy for me. But I wanted the added heat as it was a little chilly out. Good flavors but not explosions like I'm used to. Not that it was bad - maybe it was on the muted side for the demographics? It was a very nice tasty dinner to close out 2025!

This is a food truck which is set up outside a brewery with picnic table seating. As of this…read morewriting, it has just reopened after being closed during a time of hurricane-related chaos. It was highly regarded before that, and offers to make many of its menu items vegan. I was a tad disappointed that the bar promised some non-alcoholic hop water options but didn't seem to have any in stock, which may relate to the storm as well. This food truck, however, delivered the goods. It is not a speedy process, and when I tried visiting before they sold out of food before the end of the day so I came early this time. They give you a buzzer so you can wander around and order drinks. When my tofu arrived, it was mouthwatering. The amount of rice was quite large, but this was some aromatic rice, and the tofu itself tasted like high quality stuff and was bathed in an herbal, spicy flavor that I imagine is about as close to Thailand as you could get in Asheville. It was a lot of money for a modestly sized disposable bowl of food, but the quality merited a visit. I doubt I could have found myself eating anything more delicious. And yet, their other menu options remained on my mind.

I was never all that impressed with food trucks until moving here to Asheville. Given the…read morecomplementary relationship with the many craft breweries that don't do food themselves, plus all the local outdoor events for 9 months of the year, there are some truly great food trucks based here. Cassia is definitely one of the top ones. This is some of the best and most original Thai food I've ever had. They are a regular at Cellarest Beer Project in West Asheville. The food is prepared fresh, but the wait is not too long. And if you sit in the right spot, you may be able to enjoy the fragrant scent of Thai food as it is being prepared in their mobile kitchen. We started with the Firecracker sweet potatoes. These amazing little jewels are mashed sweet potatoes wrapped in the same coating as you'd normally have with a spring roll or won ton. They had a wonderful crispy outside with a flavorful sweet potato mash inside. The spicy mayo dipping sauce was excellent, but we also loved dipping these into the golden curry sauce that came with our curry duck. Where do you ever see curry duck BTW? The duck was cooked perfectly and not at all grisly or chewy. The curry sauce was absolutely incredible. Great flavor along with a nice kick. Between eating the duck and jasmine rice with the curry sauce and dipping some of the Firecrackers in it, there was literally not a speck of curry sauce left behind. We also had chicken Laab Gai. The mint leaves in this were really tasty and not overwhelmingly minty. The sticky rice was good. These came with cabbage leaves that you can roll the meat and rice up in to create a sort of Thai taco. This was good, but not at the same level as the duck curry. Maybe a bit more sauce would help. Prices are restaurant level but well worth it given this is restaurant-quality food or better. We paired the food with two fine beers from Cellarest. The Czech-style Moonglade Tmave pivo had great character. The Weald Oktoberfest Marzen lager was also excellent. Both went very well with the Thai food. Apart from maybe the dead of winter, this will be a place we go back to for more great Thai food.
