    Pineapple curry with chicken.

A great find in Black Mountain. I ordered the pineapple curry with chicken & my husband had the eggplant with tofu. Both were delicious. Table side spices allowed me to kick the heat up a notch.

This place is a Helene survivor and under new management... the food is hands DOWN some of the best curry I've ever had! Get the yellow sweet and add some spice! Also the sushi boat was amazing!! On the app side ... the crab Rangoon and dumplings were FANTASTIC! Highly recommend! Come for your birthday and get the sushi boat and some sake!!!

Attentive servers and generally good food but my chicken cashew was much too salty. HH liked his dish though. Large, large servings.

Love sitting out on the patio with a view of the neighboring pond. Love that it has Singha beer both on tap and in the bottle. And love the friendly owner and staff. Many say that this is the best Thai restaurant in Asheville. That is not saying too much given the many wonderful Thai places on the West Coast and in big cities like New York and Toronto. But we enjoyed our lunch here. The Pad Thai and curries were pretty good, and there were gluten free choices for one of us. Can't complain. I'll be back.

Had never heard of it nor read a review but I'm always up for an experience without prior judgement. My wife and I decided to sit outside as the weather was cool. The male server who I'm pretty sure was either an owner, partner, or manager as his enthusiasm was intoxicating apologized as he's not had time to blow the pine needles off the patio. It wasn't a problem or negative for us. The menu looked great with plenty of options. I'm not an Asian expert but I simply like great tasting food. I ordered the L-10 Cashew Nut with Shrimp. My wife ordered L16 Spicy Eggplant with tofu. So we sat chatting for a bit when our server returned with two partly filled small cups of what he described as coconut soup. We hadn't ordered anything so this we assumed it was an amuse-bouche. After taking one spoonful we looked at each other and thought, we need to get a full bowl of this. It was one of the most incredible soups I've ever had in my life. And yes, I'm gushing over soup. While I don't know the actual ingredients other than a slice of mushroom and a few slices for green onion, the coconut and lime flavors in this clear broth is something we're still talking about and that was 2 days ago. For those who don't care about soup, the Spicy Eggplant and Cashew Nut were also incredibly delicious but next time we go, we've already decided we will order a full bowl of the Coconut Soup.

The ambiance is super upbeat and lively. It can be busy, and there can be a wait depending on how busy it is. Though, it is worth it! I ordered the staple, chicken pad Thai!!! Spice level #4! It was delicious, flavorful, pleasantly spicy, and topped with so many fresh vegetables! The crispy spring rolls tasted like heaven!!! The sauce was so luscious and yum!!! So, Suwana's Thai Orchard makes lovely authentic Thai food; and for a southern state that's a huge compliment. We ordered (for take out): * Thai Chicken Wings - Fried and Glazed w/House Spicy Chill Sauce which were very good * Thai Fried Rice - Stir Fried Rice w /Egg, Tomato, Carrot, Scallion and chicken was great * Papaya Salad - with Green Papaya, Carrot, Tomato, Green Bean, Garlic, Calamari, Shrimp w/Chili Lime Dressing and Crushed Peanuts - also good * Yellow Chicken Curry - Coconut Milk, Thai Yellow Curry Paste, Potato, Onion Carrot, Tomato - thumbs up * We had one more undefinable dish that was the best of them all. I've only been there once, so far, considering they just opened this week. I started with the spicy tuna salad, and it was full of beautiful chunks that I THOUGHT were diced tomatoes at first, the kimchi sauce and accoutrements were very satisfying. Because it was my first time there, I also ordered pad see ew, to try their hot food. The crab Rangoon appetizer was so light, crunchy, and flavorful, I wanted more. The entree was very tasty and satisfying, though the size was a bit modest. But it is an affordable lunch special, right?
