Despite that they were having a grand opening and I was expecting some cons, I figured out that these guys are professional and they know what they are doing. We tried this for the first time yesterday and it is GREAT! We have always loved andalous in general because of their options and their freshly made food. They are always so friendly as well. This is a really great opportunity to try everything they have to offer and it is all delicious! We might make this trek to Richardson more often than the regular andalous because we like to get all of the different flavors of hummus LOL you can try all of the meats at once such such kufta, andalous chicken, majnoon chicken, the shish kabob, etc. My favorite side is the fried cauliflower. Such a great deal as well pricing wise its 16.99 per person for the weekend buffet. You can compare this to Terra's price which is HIGH for the weekdays so its really a better deal for almost the same type of good food. Oh, also! We love that it's halal because my sister only eats halal. The only note I have is the rice pudding is lacking something...maybe too much rose water or orange blossom and cinnamon. My family recently hosted a party here on Saturday for about 75-80 people. I wanted to take a moment and let everyone know how my experience went. The entire team at the restaurant was amazing and extremely helpful and very understanding. We decided to use the normal buffet instead of putting a buffet inside for our party. The team made sure the buffet was fully stocked up at all times and our guest did not have to wait. Every single person who was invited enjoyed the food and the service. I've been coming here for a while now! I love the food it's amazing! They have so many options, there's honestly something for every palate. My friends and I each are very picky in different ways and are all unanimously happy eating here. The service is superb, Molly especially is a ray of sunshine and so sweet seeing her there to welcome you in and help with your order is like seeing your best friend after a long day of work! Everything about this place has gone downhill. It used to be favorite and go to. I called about 10 times throughout the day to make a reservation for my parents that came from out of the state and no one answered the phone. They have the audacity to charge almost $30 per person but take over 10 minutes to clean tables, have dirty plates, extremely dry chicken, canned fruit, rotten strawberries, messed up AC vents that drip water on you while you're eating, as well as vents that are uncomfortably nasty. Went on Labor Day for lunch. Inside is spacious with high ceilings and lots of windows so tables don't feel crowded. Huge number of selections, everything was fresh and hot. So many choices - lots of different salad combinations, vegetables made in different ways, different types of hummus, different types of meat.... on and on. I'd been looking to try this place for awhile. My first experience was lackluster. By the time I got the food from the buffet to my table, it wasn't warm anymore. Looking around the dark'ish dining room, the floor seemed to need a good cleaning, and the environment felt "forgotten." This restaurant is SO good! The portions are large, and all the food I've tried has been fresh, healthy, and not greasy. My favorites are the chicken kebab, pomegranate eggplant, and hummus with pita. I've never had pomegranate eggplant, so I was hesitant to try it, but it was amazing! I have only ordered delivery from them, but I've had all good experiences. My food was delivered early, and I received a text from the delivery person after the food was left on my porch. This place is amazing. It used to be Fadi's, which I had tried in the past and I really enjoyed as well. I ordered catering for 10 people, I had all the boxes separately packed, which was suggested by the restaurant manager. They did such, such, such an amazing job packing the order. I regret not taking a picture of how nicely they delivered and set the lunch up. The office staff was blown away by the flavors of the food. I ordered everything that was suggested by the manager, I believe this name was "Wassim." He was so so helpful in helping me pick items that everyone would love. I ordered the meal for $18.99 per person and it came individually packed for everyone in a couple boxes- one with the chicken, which was very nicely flavored, it came which zucchini and some veggies. Then in a separate container was the amazingly buttery, scrumptious cranberry rice (it could've been cherry, I am not sure) and yummy Greek salad. The pita bread was soooooo delicious, I loved it. You can actually open the pita pocket up by tearing it apart and stuff it with the ingredients. If, you prefer stuffing the meat, salad, and rice in there, which is what I did with half the pita. I added the garlic sauce to the pita too, it was so good. I also used some pita for the hummus (this was all included in the $18.99 per person). Everyone had their own separate hummus, tzatziki, garlic, and salad dressing sauces. This place is definitely worth a try, it's one of my favorite Mediterranean spots I've tried lately. You've probably driven past it, it's a Beautiful building you can see it right off 75 driving South through plano. The only thing I think they could've improved on was helping me over the phone. Wassim was great, but I had called earlier that day to try to place my order and the man who answered did not want to help and kept pushing the website on me, I usually order online, but I didn't know what to order and since i was placing a large order I had a few questions on what they recommended. I'm glad I called back a few hours later and was able to speak to the manager and have a great experience because I almost just called another Mediterranean restaurant instead, that would have been more willing to help me. When placing an order over $200, I believe the first person should have been more willing to help. But other than that, great food, great presentation, great service from the manager. For a buffet this place is above average. Very fresh and flavorful. The hummus was great. My first visit there was no pita until half way through my meal but the last time it was plentiful. My only critique is the falafel. It was small and dried out both times I've gone but it was soared by a bit of their delicious hummus. read more

Horrible. Please do not go! Food: A lot of options, but most of them were stale. Seriously! Falafels were fried using really bad oil and we could literally smell it. Both rice options were terrible - it could very well be 2-3 days old. Hygiene: Plates were not clean. We had to shuffle through multiple plates to find the ones that were clean. This should have been a sign and we should have just walked out. But there's more: people who work there touch food and eat the food that's on the buffet with their bare hands. I've eaten here quite a few times. It's kind of pricey, especially for a vegetarian since I'm not eating any meat. In the beginning it was delicious, but I feel like it's gone down hill. We went for lunch today and a lot of the hot food weren't hot, like they hadn't warmed up from the day before. They also removed this cauliflower dish that was fantastic. Maybe if we came later in the day the food would be hot by then? Either way, I'm hesitant to go back. Not a bad place but I personally do prefer Dimassis. They have a good array of dips, salads, veggies, rice, and various proteins. Ate here when they first opened and it was great. Went back today and the quality has gone down tremendously and the price was $20 per person for lunch. They don't give a discount for kids over age 9 so I paid that for my kid to eat fries and chicken. The majority of their plates were dirty with stuck on food. When I told the girl in the front she only removed a few of them. The food is lukewarm and isn't tasty as Mediterranean should be, dry kofta and falafel. So I've been to a lot of Mediterranean buffets. Not surprised they had all the same things here just like all the others, so it's nothing special. All the same salads, same processed gyro bought from a vendor, but they had chicken wings and ice cream in addition to the regular, which isn't my thing, but if it seals the deal for you, I guess you'd enjoy... The restaurant does look nice and clean, which is comforting. Wouldn't recommend personally, but if you've never been to a Mediterranean buffet, you should give it a go, assuming you are struggling to find a place to go eat. read more

Super confused because the Irving location is amazing. This location - not so much. It was buffet style and not cafeteria style, and the food was awful quality. Kebabs were so dry, rice was average. Pita was not that soft, gyro meat was dry. Fries were great at least lol. I think part of the issue is the trays they are keeping their meats in for the buffet are always closed, and being kept hot over a steam bath, which means they are continuing to overcook them for as long as they sit. The food could probably get the rating a little bit higher, but it's about the overall experience. $31 lunch for 2, not terrible if it didn't start with standing there awkwardly to be greeted for 5 minutes. Ok, drinks are included. I'm a water guy, but hey, they have to make a buck. Why is the fountain machine in the main area out of service. Journey to the far back corner to use the other machine. Ok, but the only ice available is half melted in a hotel style ice bucket with tongs. Disappointing there. The food was a solid 4 star. Service one again slow to pick up plates. While the food is good, I'm giving it a one star review for their lack of cleanliness. This is a buffet and I would expect a number of cleanliness protocols to be in place for diners. Sadly this was not the case. Luckily we were able to witness a group of 4 adults and about 6 children under the age of ten at the buffet prior to paying. Nobody in the group was masked. Nobody in the group was using the supplied disposable gloves to touch the serving utensils, and as children tend to do, they were touching everything. So here's my opinion having gone to Ali Baba, Dimassi, Terra, Afrah...etc. this place is huge, new, very spacious. Their strengths lie in their cold food. Hummus & spreads were good. Salads were their best. In terms of hot food, Ali baba & Terra taste much better in my opinion although I think there's more variety here bcoz they have a "kids fried food" section with French fries, fried chicken, fried fish etc. They are better with vege dishes here than meat dishes.
