Absolutely amazing restaurant super happy I came here. Just ended up coming here on a whim, but I would recommend this restaurant to everybody. These people cook the food with love. Lamb chops were amazing. Chicken was amazing. Hummus was amazing. I could keep going forever.

This was our first time at Andalusia Kitchen and I was blown away by this amazing meal. We started with the free carrot dip and pita bread. I'd never had anything like that it was so good. We dined on Saturday and two of the specials, chicken and olives with rice, and braised beef. We're rice snobs and this rice did not disappoint, and the cous cous was also tasty. The restaurant appears to be a one man show, so if you aren't greeted the minute you walk in please wait. The building itself was the old sheriffs office in Old Town San Clemente. The next time I'm in town I'll definitely dine again.

My wife and I almost didn't eat at this restaurant. When we got to the restaurant the door was locked (even though the website said it was open) and the door had a number of restaurant labels pasted on it so we weren't sure we were even at the right place. But I was really in the mood for Mediterranean/Lebanese food so I called the telephone number and the gentleman running the restaurant answered and came to the door and opened it for us. Inside, the restaurant is very nice --- a pleasant primarily wood decor with green accents. The menu looked great too but the Moroccan dishes that were on it are only offered on Fridays and Saturdays --- and we were there on a Monday. So we decided to order the Mezza platter which had hummus, falafel, baba ganouj, tabouleh, and kibbeh (with ground meat and onion inside). All the items were superb --- really first-rate Lebanese food. Fresh ingredients that were well prepared and very filling. The mezze platter left my wife and me full. The platter came with a couple of baskets of freshly baked pita bread and a ground red dip. I don't know the name but it was delicious. I'll definitely return but next time on a Friday or Saturday so that I can try their Moroccan dishes.

Wow, what a difference a day makes last night we had some of the worst Mediterranean food ever and today we had some of the best Andalusia is hidden gem in old town San Clemente run by genuine Moroccan, who cooks with passion this is a don't miss for any Mediterranean food lovers. Apparently, they've been here for four years, but they only did takeout and only recently have they added table service. It's a quaint old building that used to be the San Clemente Police Department in jail so there's a lot of history tied to it.

    Delicious treat!

Had a really terrific time here with family last week - amazing food! I'd recommend one of the kabob plates - big portions and very tasty!

Never knew this place was here and just tried it today. They opened for dine in a few months ago and I can't believe I haven't seen it before. Service was very good, the gentlemen (might be the owner) was very nice. Gave us a free carrot hummus and pita starter. Then I had the flaffel which was great, very light and delicious. Then the main plate was good, rice and meat was cooked great. And the gentlemen gave us a free baklava! This place is very good for a quick dine in and a nice take out.

Delicious meal, nice wine-- but let me tell you about the baklava ice cream dessert: ORGASMIC!!! (And I never eat dessert, haha!) Thank you Tony & all dining on patio... it felt like a huge extended family but we didn't have to cook, cleanup, nor do dishes!!!

They have an outdoor hookah lounge attached to the restaurant. Beautiful interior, good service…read more We ordered the Sultan's platter and an order of baba ganoush, and it was a perfect amount for a table of 4 light to moderate eaters. I think two hungry people could finish the Sultan's platter alone. The Sultan's platter comes with hummus. The server kindly refilled our pita with a fresh batch multiple times without being asked. Of the 3 meats we had: Filet: The server asked how we wanted the filet cooked and we said medium, but not even a hint of pink; regardless it was very tender. A bit on the gamey side in case you don't like that, but for me it was fine. Chicken: Very juicy but a little undersalted and some parts were a bit chewy. Not among the best chicken kabob I've had. Kafta: This was the standout among the three. The seasoning was excellent, so herby and delicious. I appreciated the variety of having all three, but next time I might get just kafta. The hummus and baba ganoush were great, but also not particularly better than any other Mediterranean place. This is a small nitpick but for a nice place that otherwise uses all ceramic and silverware, why plastic cups for the tahini and garlic sauce? Overall it was good, I would come back, but for the price I think I wish more elements would have wow'ed me.
