Ordered online to pick up for lunch. The online ordering interface was very user friendly and easy to navigate options/make substitutions. Food was ready when it said it would be! I had to wait in line behind people ordering in order to pick up (food was behind the counter waiting for me in a bag) which sort of defeats the purpose of ordering from home. I would've liked to be able to pick up instead of waiting in line but I also understand the issues of people walking out with your food! The food itself was a good sized portion. I'd relate the taste to how chipotle is in comparison to true authentic Mexican food. It's good but it's not truly authentic Greek cuisine. I'd go here again for lunch! We've been customers since you opened, and last year we noticed this location was starting to go downhill in terms of customer service and food quality. We made a complaint, and for a while we slowly saw some improvement. However, we visited twice again--once last month and again this month--and the customer service was not friendly or accommodating whatsoever. The rice was horrible, tasteless, and overcooked. We asked to pay for additional chipotle and yogurt sauce, and they failed to include it with our meal. Last month we also had a to-go order, and the chicken was overcooked. As I mentioned before, we have patronized the San Diego Luna Grill location, where the food is always outstanding and the service is amazing. The owner of this franchise should be aware of how this location is being run. read more

I am beginning to think Luna Grill is sliding down after this meal. It was just...meh. Not terrible, not great, very middle of the road. I know I can do better for what are now cheap eats at $20 a person. Everything is start to taste mass produced, lab made, overly processed. Salad dressing in plastic tear packs? That didn't used to be the case. I clearly remember getting it in cups that were served there, and my feeling is that in the past, this was freshly made dressing. No longer. Falafel...somewhat boring, low seasoned, dull. Hummus...ok but short on tahini, not creamy, just so so. Garlic sauce was good, pita is ok but they forgot to put it in one of our orders, grape leaves were tough. I don't know if Luna Grill has expanded into some kind of larger chain where efficiencies, lower food cost, and mass production are now a priority over hand made items, fresh food, and care going into each and every plate, but it tastes like the latter at this place. This restaurant has gone way downhill and is a true disappointment as a go to favorite in the neighborhood. Whomever is managing the store needs to take a look at the level of dirtiness. We couldn't find a clean table to sit at when we went last night to eat. The floors and the bathroom were filthy as well. Yuck! Additionally, it has gotten so expensive it is crazy. With a tip, we spent $78 for three people. That is ridiculous. I can't see any reason to go back. OUSTANDIND CUSTOMER SERVICE BY Divany. I ordered a salad that I thought was the one I typically liked, but ended up with a new one I haven't tried before. It was very good, but not what I thought I was ordering. I ask Divany the name of the salad I usually order by describing it. She told me the name and gave me a small version of it to go. She could tell that I was a little disappointed in myself for ordering the wrong one. This was going above and beyond for me. I appreciate that she wanted me to feel satisfied after being at her restaurant in Dana Point (22). Luna Grill is lucky to have such a great employee watching out for their customers!
