Kukbap with beef broth and beef

The soup was amazing and the portion is also generous for me. The server guided us how to eat gukbop- and it was unfamiliar way of having gukbap but it was enjoyable. It is a small cozy spot but the space kept clean.

I love places where they specialize in one thing. Just like the good places in Korea. Got the Gukbap with beef. Broth was clean and generous portions of beef. Came with some sides as well. For the sauce I got the chili oil and also tried the doenjang. Both were good. Overall 5/5 Came here on Saturday at 12pm and sat at the bar because the dining room was full. Didn't mind sitting at the bar because it had a Japanese ramen bar vibe. There was a table in the back where the bathroom is and that would have been bad feng shui.

Food was delicious! And service was impeccable. The restaurant was small but very quaint - a bar area and a back seating area. I went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon.

Honestly exciting to have more Korean spots in the neighborhood. There was a bit of a wait when I came by for dinner which shows me there's a bit of hype surrounding it. I got the beef gukap and shared banchan. Overall a little pricey, with just the one dish, but they do, do it really well.

Sooo good! Can totally see myself coming back again this winter. I sat at the bar and it was fun watching the chefs do their thing. My only qualm is that the host/waiter service was lacking. I was confused when I walked in and the line chefs helped get her attention.

Very nice place, the counter seating is great, the service is friendly and fast. The food is great! The gukbap broth is subtle in flavor, the kimchi sauce added a lot. The beef was nicely cooked. The galbi is outstanding, so full of flavor! The chef even made a wrap and fed it to my husband, with a special sauce! Highly recommend!

Andamiro specializes in Gukbap, a Korean soup dish. Ive only tried the beef so far, and it's hearty, homey and delicious! Their appetizers are also great. You can customize the soup by choosing your broth (beef, chicken, veg), protein (beef, chicken, tofu?) and sauce. The kimchi and gochujang sauces were flavor bombs with a nice, spicy kick. It's walk-in only, but the line moved quickly when we came in on a saturday night. Can't wait to come back!

You're not crying -- I am! I'm genuinely so happy that a new Korean gukbap spot has opened in Park Slope. Hooray! Brooklyn absolutely deserves better Korean food, and this place is a major win. We ordered the beef gukbap with two different sauces, but honestly the broth was so beautifully creamy that I didn't want to ruin it with anything. I only dipped the meat in the sauce occasionally. The beef itself was sukiyaki-thin, lightly charred, and incredibly flavorful. Truly delicious. My only request: please make the radish kimchi refillable at least once or give a bit more. In Korea, gukbap restaurants are known for their radish kimchi, and as a radish-kimchi lover, I definitely needed just a little extra. We also tried dongchimi and dukgalbi. The dongchimi was refreshing and not sweet (thank you!), though I do wish the radish had stayed crunchy instead of soft. The dukgalbi was fantastic but so well-seasoned that I found myself wishing for rice cakes or rice balls on the side. Overall, such a joyful addition to the neighborhood. I'm already planning my next visit.

Since I was staying in Brooklyn for work, Haenyeo was an easy choice for a date night dinner. We went on a Thursday evening around 8pm. We didn't have a reservation but were seated immediately without a wait. The restaurant was fairly busy; if you're planning ahead I would consider making a reservation. We started with an order of the Japchae. Then we ordered the Bibimbop with chicken and the Bulgogi. The Japchae was underwhelming. Not a strong flavor profile, leaned sort of bland. The entrees were much better. The rice in the Bibimbop had a really yummy crispy layer. When all mixed together, it's a great melody of flavors and textures. The Bulgogi was equally enjoyable. Definitely recommend the red spicy sauce it comes with. We shared both entrees among 2 people and felt the portions sizes were decent - neither left hungry. The service was okay. We didn't seem to have a dedicated server. It felt like all the wait staff takes care of everyone simultaneously? Everyone was friendly; there was just a long wait for someone to come for our food order. If you're looking for an authentic experience with Korean food, this may be the spot for you.

I wouldn't necessarily venture a long distance for this place, but I live within a 10 minute drive and will definitely be back. Ambiance is casual. I had a reservation for 4 people, but it wasn't too busy so walk ins are probably welcomed. Food: not too many options for ban chan, but what was offered was good and unlimited. I shared the below among 4 people and enjoyed everything and it was plenty of food. -Kimbap: spicy tuna. Comes with 10 hearty pieces. Great to share. -Korean Style Chicken Wings: good crunch and flavor. Not greasy. -Mandu: hard to go wrong with deep fried dumplings. Not greasy. Flavorful. -Hot Stone Bibimbap: with bulgogi. Flavorful and meat wasn't too fatty. -Japchae: bulgogi. Classic! -Beef Kalbi: flavorful, not too fatty.

Very squishy and the sauce was rich with some potatoes and pork mixed in. I really liked the dish and you can't find it all that many places. The hot stone bibimbap was great, I wish the bulgogi had a little more flavor but overall enjoyed it. I also tried the kalbi tang soup, which had a very nice nourishing broth and chunks of meat. If the flavors had been turned up a notch and the meat cooked a little less, it'd be 5 stars.

Seating is a little small, so any parties of 4 or larger probably require a reservation. The food came out fairly quickly. We ordered the Tteokbokki. The dish was purposely cooked to be crispier than what you would normally expect, it was very delicious. The jjapaguri was flavorful and the meat and seafood was great. The main course of crab fried rice was amazing. Poured over a sizzling pan, the waiter made sure we had time to get our phones ready. The dish stirred and seasoned well and had a nice fresh taste. Happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised! Almost everything we ordered was delicious! Both Korean Fried Chicken orders had good flavor and great for sharing. I rarely see Soy Ginger as an option (usually it's Soy Garlic) but I like the slight sharpness it added to each bite. The Seafood Pancake was crispy, loaded with seafood, and paired nicely with the ponzu. The Slow Loris Roll was incredible! The rice ratio was just right, there was a good variety of fish and it was all fresh, the avocado and sauces added nice creaminess, and torching the roll was the cherry on top. The Spicy Bulgogi Fried Rice with Cheese was super savory, the sunnyside egg was cooked perfectly, and the portion was solid. I didn't care for the cheese and honestly could've done without and not noticed. It did need something to cut through the richness. I did enjoy the Beef Galbi much more! It is brought to the table sizzling and smelling amazing. It's savory, sweet, and smoky. I like that it's paired with kimchi & rice making this is complete meal. All in all, I was impressed with everything here! We were also a large party (7 people) yet everything was served correctly and in a timely fashion. Definitely recommend stopping by!
