The first technician performed a number of tests to determine the source of the leak. After some time, he stated that one of the manifolds and the gas line to it needed replacement and the parts would cost $475. I asked him if he had checked the connections to those components. He then decided to tighten them and said that the leak smell had diminished. He suggested that we use the stove for a couple of days to see if it was fixed. It was not. We called to schedule another repair visit and requested a different technician. The same guy showed up with no parts for the repair and did nothing for 15 minutes and left. He said we needed parts. Four days later, a different tech showed up and when he pulled the stove away from the wall he noticed a leak in the gas supply line to the stove. He claimed that he couldn't fix that and a gas company person was required. Before we called the gas company, I replaced the broken gas line myself and after inspection by the gas co. rep, the stove is up and running. (No thanks to Appliance Hospital)
