    I've been using Gulfstream Cooling exclusively for around 12 years in the same home since home…read morepurchase warranty expired. Each year they were called in for some part or another failing in the aging unit, or yearly cleaning or a minor part issue. Each time called if the AC had failed, they walked me through a temporary fix, or arrived within 24 hours and the house was cool again. Recently, iguana took out fan blade. Again as the past few years conversation had gone, a new system (the unit is almost 20 years of age) was suggested, but NEVER pushed. I sucked up another several hundred dollar reasonable repair cost and said I'd try to get through another season. This time, not the case. The entire system started failing a couple months later and DID need to be replaced. Replacing the system: I was given a great quote by brother Jason and didn't even want to call anyone else. He explained the 3 options and I looked them up on manufacturers website and even found another rebate through my city. The great thing about these guys-they DID give me the best price (who wants to shop when the house is close to 80 anyway?)....although I called Island air who came in tightly 2nd. Gulfstream is a small group. You know who you're talking to on the phone, they know you too. Best part about this company: family owned and they treat you like their family! Besides ethical, reliable, good follow up, responsive and know their business!! What more could anyone want? Super happy to have found them.

My $10K HVAC unit has had to have service at least 5 times (including the 2 visits for Service Contract) each of the 2 years that I have had it. In the last 6 months, MOLD has been discovered inside my AC registers and ductwork caused by water backing up into the air return and cooling unit in the garage....an ongoing issue. Kenneth came out and replaced the entire box in the garage and indicated that I would have to pay the $$1,145.00 charge because I had been informed in a previous repair, of the need to open the drain pipe from the unit. I looked up all the receipts that I had and could not find any such information so I requested a copy of the invoice. He told me he would have the office send it to me. I have gotten no response from Email, phone, or messages... This was so avoidable!
