Hot turkey sandwich & potato salad

I had Anderson's the other day in Cheektowaga, but this Anderson's is much nicer (not so ratchet). Tried the turkey sandwich instead of roast beef this time, and it was no disappointment. Once again, I was greeted with genuine Customer Service. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. It was not my intentions to go there, but after walking out of the barbershop, I looked up and to my surprise there Anderson's was. Glad I stopped by! Ps. The potato is pretty dang good.

Great lady great BUISNESS great people

I went to Andersons recently and I must say this experience fulfilled me more then I thought it could or even would. There was this charming Caucasian man o couldn't catch his name but he was a great handsome young male. He talked to me about the bills and what ice cream to order and I gave him life advice and talked about my life in Amherst in the 90's. I wish I could have caught his name. He was so damn cool. He told me about this BS rule that he couldn't wear his hat backwards and we talked about how this place probably has some fishy owners. I ended up getting a special rare roast beef sandwich and a huge ice cream sundae all for myself and he told me if I ever needed him I knew where to find him. This place is so forking cool and I will be be back for the above bar beef and the gotta have it ice cream.

Always good food, not to mention the ice cream I had the veggie wrap which was generous with veggies and avocado. Very good. Hubby got his regular- Carls choice roast beef and curly fries. I love that this is a Buffalo family owned business and a Buffalo tradition

Teeter totter ... in the Northeast United States we tend to say that instead of seesaw but both mean the same. There are ups and downs with a balancing point in the middle. And, your positioning depends on all sides, which brings me to Anderson's on Main Street and perhaps my reflection on all of the Anderson's chain. First, an immediate loss of a star because ONLY ONE EMPLOYEE wore a mask tonight. Clearly management does not care about the health of their customers nor their employees during these days of COVID 19 (I lost a friend who worked front end at a restaurant and wore a mask but breathed in the coronavirus from someone.). I thanked the young man for caring about my health and his fellow employees health. So, right there you had the ups of one young man's caring heart and awareness of science versus the downs of every other employee's disregard for all. I will admit that I am not a fan of Anderson's Beef on Weck but that is personal and most of my friends love their beef on weck. So that's an up but the prices have escalated to the extreme bringing the Anderson's meal experience perhaps to that balancing point of good food in contrast with high prices. The ultimate food product that Anderson's is known for is the ice cream. And, yes the ice cream is good! The sundaes delicious. And, the price still reasonable! So it's all on the upswing! When you are in Buffalo someone eventually will say 'let's go to Anderson's!' Just be sure to wear your mask and not be shocked by some of the prices and definitely get some ice cream!

Nom okay? Just NOM NOM lol. I love Anderson's. The BEST custard ever. Is the customer service great ? It's okay. Is the roast beef overpriced yet delicious? Yup. Will I be back? Of course :)

We had a peanut butter passion sundae and it was pretty good. I would say nothing too special, but glad we got it! The presentation was great and the amount of ice cream was delightful, but the flavors and creaminess weren't quite what we were expecting.

Plenty of parking for pick uo

Being such a beautiful day we decided to go get an ice cream. My favorite type of ice cream is frozen custard so off to Andersons we went. As usual we stared at the menu for a few minutes but no idea why. I pretty much always get the same thing, either a plain chocolate or a twist soft serve cone. Today I went with the chocolate. My husband got the daily special which I think was called jamoca (coffee flavored). Neither of us are much into toppings which actually I think allows us a better chance to enjoy the taste of the ice cream. Kinda like with drinking coffee black to get the full flavor. The chocolate was very creamy and tasted great. My husband said the jamoca was a little weak in coffee flavor. Split vote. Looks like they added more seating outside with several picnic tables nicely spread out. There was someone walking around cleaning each table as people left. The inside and order counters seemed to be maintaining good social distancing. Guess we'll have to come back again to see how they handle a big crowd. Maybe next time I'll stray from my normal order and try their beef on weck! 2021-38

We had a gin and sprite, a wayward lane fine print ale, and an IPA which was okay. I forgot the name of it. Small place to sit inside. Maybe good for 30 people. Decent amount outside maybe 20. So it's not a huge plane but the noise coming from it was loud and so it had pretty decent energy. There was also an intense game of cornhole happening as well.

Note: if you like sours try the Cherry Cobbler sour it is over the top tasty! Also had the Cran Orange Ale which I could have drink a second one of easily too. Now on to the food... I am from Texas, and am a bit picky over BBQ, especially Brisket. Y'all there's nothing worse than a dry piece of smoked brisket... just sayin'. Anyway, I ordered a couple apps and the two meat plate with Chicken & Brisket, Beans, Slaw & the Mac Salad. Y'all, the brisket was moist tender and nicely marbled. I ate half of it before even opening the sauces! Same to be said for the Chicken, it was tender, with the perfect little hint of smoke, legit delicious! I highly recommend this spot when visiting the area... I will definitely be back my next time through.

We were greeted right away when we walked in, which was a great start. However, after being seated on the patio, we waited about 20 minutes before a server came over. Drinks also took quite a while to arrive. I ordered a brown sugar bourbon cocktail, but it was disappointing--basically just tasted like straight bourbon with little to no flavor. For food, I tried the Reuben poutine appetizer ($20). Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the price. The cheese seemed very processed--hard to even describe, and definitely not what I expected. The fried Reuben itself was just okay, but overall it felt overpriced for what it was. In the end, I wouldn't necessarily discourage someone from trying it, but it's not somewhere I'd personally return to. The experience just didn't match the cost or leave much of a positive impression.
