Not to be confused with Fox's Custard Come, which is generally thought to be produced after I have not consumed water for a very, very, very, very, very long time, and is kinda gross. Pam's on the other hand is not gross at all. In fact, it's delicious. It seems like Custard's Last Stand, with all the crap like Cold Stone taking over, and don't get me started on "Churn" on Hertel (dies a painful death just thinking about those products and prices). Let's cleanse our minds by thinking of Pam's. Pam's custard corner is a lovely little custard spot in South Buffalo right in the heart of all the amazing pizza - Imperial, Bella, Lombardough's are all close by, and Mineo's South is a 2 minute walk - so if you want to wash some of that unhealthy Pizza down with some thick creamy custard, you can come here. You also have about seven other great custard options within a couple of miles. This one is tasty and cheap and while it's not the best in town it's also a lot better than some of the others. So I'm a fan and I'm sure I'll be back here again. Service was not too bad and it's just your lovely typical little neighbourhood custard shop. It's seasonal, but then so is my manic hypersexual disorder. Now I need to end this review and leave the house before the cops show up to try and take me into custardy.

Dream Cone... vanilla custard inside a angle cone that has fudge & nuts on it- amazing! There are plenty of other options, including 15+ Perry's Ice cream flavors. If you're getting g ice cream in South Buffalo, this is Way better than Dairy Queen.

It's also fun to wander around eyeing all the candies and chocolates... excellent gift ideas. On this visit, my daughter and I split a large Arctic swirl with brownies pieces and swapped the vanilla custard for eggnog. Best decision I've made all season, no regrets! The only tiny downside: the signs. So. Many. Signs. Rules everywhere--no ice cream in the chocolate area, carry a basket so nothing melts or breaks, no glass outside, clean your trays, etc. I get it (I, too, am a bit of a control freak), but it does start to feel like ice cream comes with a user manual. That said, clearly they've been burned before... or maybe I just recognize my own people. Either way, worth it for the custard alone. And make sure you plan to go right home. This way, you can buy some of their hard ice cream to keep in your freezer.

There wasn't much hot fudge on it, but they did not hold back on ice cream or whipped cream. I am sure if I had asked for more, they would have added some. Everything was incredible. The chicken was juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The rice paired so well with it--every bite hit. The sambusa was just as good--crispy on the outside with a flavorful, well-seasoned filling inside. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food here. Definitely coming back for more.

It's more of a takeout style place, but there is seating along both of the storefront windows. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The service was great. We chose to eat at the restaurant and they brought our food out to us. I ordered the mixed rice bowl (chicken & steak) and my cousin got the chicken. It was sooo tasty and flavorful. The rice was a perfect texture and not bland. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned. The beef was good too, but I preferred the chicken. The sauces to go on top were all great... Garlic sauce, hot sauce and a salsa-y sauce. The garlic was my favorite. The portion size was good too; it was enough for me to have 2 and a 1/2 lunches. My cousin really enjoyed her bowl as well. We saved room for dessert because, after all, it is called eats and treats! My cousin got the Dubai strawberry cup, but I didn't end up getting anything; my heart was set on kunafa, but since they were short staffed that day, it was not ready yet. I am not a big fan of milk chocolate, but my cousin shared a few bites of her dessert with me and I did enjoy it. The kataifi gave it a nice crunch. I do plan to visit again. I might call first to see if they have kunafa though because it is quite a drive for me to get there... And I don't want my inner fat kid to be disappointed again.

And I learned that the namesake is tied to U.S. Route 20, which is a historic highway that runs across the United States Oregon to Massachusetts. The portion of the highway here is designated as a scenic byway. So, apparently Route 20 Ice Cream has been in business for more than two decades, and for good reason. It is clearly a local favorite and you can find couples and whole families out with the kids enjoying there ice cream here. It feels vintage, home grown and very loved. And there is a flavor for everyone. So many choices of soft serve, sundaes, milkshakes, flurries, floats and specialty offerings. Flavor are abound, including cinnamon apple, peanut butter, fudge, strawberry cheesecake, banana cream, black cherry, butter pecan, cotton candy and French vanilla. They also sale by the pint. Be attentive to the menu, because special items are on rotation and they have discounts at times, along with events (they recently had a magician and an illusionist). There is also ample parking in the lot, with some seats on the grounds to enjoy your ice cream.
