I opted for an almond (sourdough) croissant and a small coffee; I was asked if I wanted a mug or a to go cup? I was given a beautiful glazed mug - very charming! Two things worth mentioning: There's a small seating area downstairs, and five large tables upstairs. The stairs? A polite way of describing them is, "grandfathered-in". The rise/run makes it difficult to navigate if you're in thick boots, carrying a child, or have stiff knees. The pastry had a beautiful crunch. I enjoyed the almond flavor. And then I found: cherry preserves? I'm aware that "croissant et confiture" (eaten with jam) is a standard French breakfast, but it did change the mouth feel of the treat. My daughter declared the loganberry her favorite, while my one son couldn't get enough of the coconut slice (really it's amaretto).
