Called to see if we could get our Dyson V15 vacuum cleaned. They said yes and they give a time frame of 7 - 10 days. I took it in that day and it was cleaned the next day. They recommended and installed a new filter. I after seeing the new one I realized it really needed replacing. Overall the experience was great. Very pleased with my experience at Anderson's! I came in after finding them online as a listed Miele and Sebo dealer. After going down an internet rabbit hole, I decided on one of those brands to replace my Shark that just didn't feel like it was cutting it. The Sebo I wanted to try was already on the floor right as I walked in, so I gave it a shot. It was love at first vacuum. Thankfully I snagged the last one they had in stock, as I was anxious to take one for a spin at home. Tim was great, super friendly, and has me setup for future service on my Sebo. A fantastic deal, considering the price tag. Took the time to make sure I knew about activating my warranty and offered to put the vacuum together if I wanted. He even brought the boxed item out to my car. While he was the only one working the shop on Sunday afternoon and there were a couple customers ahead of me, it was absolutely worth the wait for the one-on-one service I received. Though it has only been a couple days, I am very happy with my purchase (my wallet is not, but give it time), and looking forward to the ease of swinging through to grab more bags or any other supplies. I haven't been to Anderson's in many years, only because I moved to the Western Slope. Today I arrived with my 30-plus year old Miele vacuum after a repairman in my own town told me it needed a new motor. The woman at the counter didn't agree with that assessment based on the smell of the motor, then she wondered out loud about the plug. She went in the back to confer with a tech. Lo and behold, I left the store with only a new plug. For less than $30 and in fewer than 15 minutes, my treasured Miele is back in service! I bought a Miele vacuum here and the experience really couldn't have been better. I did a lot of research online and narrowed it down to two models that I was interested in. The guy who helped me allowed me to trade in my old vacuum and threw in a couple of extra attachments for free, resulting in a great deal. We went in to browse the Vacum world only...haha we walked out with purchasing the Mercedes Benz model. Eric the sales manager was super knowledgeable & eager to demonstrate any Vacum based on your preference of either upright or canister. We went with the Miele Brilliant Complete C3 Canister Vacuum but unfortunately he had zero in stock so had to order a shipment to arrive Monday. He offered us to come back to pick up or he'd drop off to us since we live so far away in Elizabeth. In the interim Eric didn't want us to walk away empty handed so offered the floor model to have until our new model is delivered. Due to snow & my inability to be available Tuesday we are getting ours delivered Wednesday. Cannot wait as the floor model has given us the ability to learn all the gadgets & features as we await ours. Anderson Vacuum is amazing! They did not get a penny directly from me...but I had an issue with my Beam Central Vac system powerbrush and hose, and brought it to them. They were both under warranty, but I did not have a written warranty from Beam, as our system was part of our new house build...Anderson helped me navigate through all that to get my hose and power brush replaced. Upon receiving a new power brush, it broke a week later! Not an Anderson issue, but a poor design from Beam. Anderson again helped me out and upgraded my power brush to a stronger and more powerful product. Eric and Mike were both super awesome, helpful and patient with all of my issues. I bought a new vacuum from them and have had the new one serviced as well - it gets heavy use. I use their "maintenance plan" which I was cautious about buying initially but it has worked out to my benefit. I had a very positive experience with the folks at Anderson's. I have a 13 year old Sebo vacuum cleaner that was starting to have a couple problems. I found Anderson's via Sebo's web site (they were listed as one of five 'premier dealers' in the Denver area) and took my vacuum in for them to take a look at it. The guy I spoke with when I arrived was friendly and knowledgeable about the product. I left my vacuum with them on a Thursday to be serviced and they called the following Monday saying it was ready for me to pick up (they had said that it might take a week, so I was glad when it was ready sooner). They said my vacuum was really dirty when I brought it in (not surprising after 13 years!) and they took it apart and thoroughly cleaned it. I haven't used it extensively yet, but so far it seems as good as new. FYI, I found the service here to be honest. They didn't charge me for anything I didn't need or try to sell me a new vacuum. But when I do need a new vacuum cleaner, I will head to Anderson's. read more

found them under small appliance repair- called first to ask about repairing a small Chinese electrical machine because they are listed as a small appliance repair shop, and they said sure- bring it in. Eric looked at the machine, said they would (could) look at it further and likely repair it -unless it needed a part then I would need to provide that to him. He accepted the item for repair confident they would be able to do something as he and Mike Anderson have experience in this. A required $30 repair deposit estimate, a week later- and they have no idea what it is, how it works, or how to repair it. Mike Anderson claims he spent 90 minutes examining it and thus needed to keep the repair fee without being able to repair it. The interesting thing here is he also said "if it were me who you saw when you brought it in (rather than Eric) I would have sent you somewhere else- as we have no experience repairing this -only vacuums and lamps. Eric should have told you this and not taken it in, but I still need to charge you the $30 as I spent all that time examining it". Not the greatest service from Mr. Anderson I must say... read more

My partner bought a vacuum from Anderson'S for our restaurant over a year ago. It started acting up and parts weren't functioning properly anymore. We took it in to get repaired and the salesman said he'd do what he could. I was surely hoping for the best, and got it! After finding out they could not get the proper parts to repair my $500 vacuum cleaner, he got us a brand new one to replace it! That is how customer service is SUPPOSED to be handled. I am late writing this review, but am happy to say i had a really pleasant experience with Anderson's Vacuum.I brought my new Miele upright vacuum in this summer after only having had it (maybe) 2 months and it wasn't working. The man who helped me was surprised, as this would be highly unusual for the brand and quickly remedied the problem by finding a small flat plastic (from drying cleaners) tab blocking the way. he fixed it quickly and for free! very thankful for the assistance and the great customer service! read more

Brought our Miele in as power went dead. They looked at, given estimate for $300 to replace power cord reel. Thats alot! Decided not too. Asked about trade in value and they told us $40! Really? The refurbished model on floor they are selling for $500! So they put vacuum back together and i take it home. I noticed first thing after trying to see if vacuum would power up as it did intermittantly prior and noticed it was dead but also now the cord wont reel back in! Called store to ask, they say bring it on back and we will correct that. Should have not damaged it in the first place! Im pretty handy with repairs so look up on replacing the reel. I get inside the vacuum and locate the reel. Im looking at and see right away that the power lines that are suppossed to be connected to reel which then transfers power to motor are not there! I also notice spare screws in bottom just laying there. Obviously they have stripped parts from mine to fix other vacuums since we decided not too pay nearly a 3rd of the cost of what the vacuum was brand new! I am calling bank and disputing the service fee i paid. Thank goodness i paid with card instead of cash otherwise i would be out money. Unscrupulous business with no moral compass at all. Shame we were ever a customer there but never again. read more

I rarely feel like a business "took" money from me but this place certainly did tonight. They convinced my wife about 3 months a go that we needed a miele vacuum ($500). Okay whatever, as long as we have a quality vacuum. Well the vacuum started losing its suction so we called Anderson's and they said to bring it in. The guy looks at it for 2 seconds and determines it's a clog. He then proceeds to flip it over and unclog it right in front of us. MEANWHILE, another Anderson employee starts ringing us up for a charge of $35! This whole time I'm just in disbelief that 1. I didn't find this clog before taking in and 2. They are actually going to charge us for a 2 minute fix. After we paid they told us about other places the vacuum can clog up. WHY NOT JUST TELL US THIS ON THE PHONE WHEN WE ORIGINALLY CALLED IN?! I'll tell you why, so they could get their $35 for what amounted to 5 minutes of work. Thanks Anderson's for selling us a $500 vacuum and not even having the courtesy to unclog it for us. have never had a poor experience here. i have been to Anderson's vacuum for purchase of a trimmer (not for me), and for repair of a Dyson. both visits, the staff have been really friendly and helpful. when purchasing the trimmer, they did not have the model i wanted - so they ordered it for me and then when i explained that i didn't live nearby, they offered to ship it to me free-of-charge...awesome. as for the dyson repair. quick and easy. it was around Christmas time so i was worried it may take a few weeks, but that was not the case. i would definitely recommend this place for purchase or repair of a vacuum! read more

Not impressed with the Aurora location!! Took a machine in (I had bought it from them) for a repair and the manager was extremely rude and not helpful at all. All of this considering I waited in line for 15 minutes before being helped. When I picked it up he was rude again and did not offer me an explanation as to the repair charges. The charge seemed high considering no parts were replaced. I called and spoke with the owner at the Littleton location to gain a better understanding as to the repair and what was involved. He was not particularly understanding and didn't seem to care too much. Between the poor customer service, my wasted time spent trying to figure out the problem and the high repair charge I will not return to these locations. read more

We've purchased three vacuums from Anderson's over the past 10 years. We have previously found them to be helpful, knowledgeable, and fairly priced. Recently, we brought in our Oreck vacuum to be serviced under warranty. They attempted to extract over $150 from us for the repair. When we reminded them of the warranty, they reluctantly agreed to service it at no charge. We also attempted to get our Dyson vacuum repaired whixh they greedily accepted as a trade and handed us an inferior model that we discovered was broken. When we tried to bring it back, they refused to accept it was broken at all. Of course, there are no refunds. So sad too bad. Unfortunately Andersons business model has changed over the past decade. This may be due to the Internet or other competitive propositions. But why go to them unless they provide honest service? That would be their competitive advantage against the Internet and chain stores. That's clearly missing now and we won't be back. read more

They sold us a brand new $600.00 (over 600.00) Miele vacuum. Had problems from get go. Then "All Rays" sold me incorrect bags, in turn it burnt the engine up. All Rays took no responsibility for this, told me to take it up to Arvada for free repair, I have no time to take it there and pick it up when ready. I went there for the first time over a year ago when I thought my very well-used Dyson was nearing replacement after Dyson tech support couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. As other reviews have mentioned, this used to be a great community oriented small business with good service. I have been a client of this small business since 2011 until today. We had our the commercial grade Hoover CH50100 vacuum brought into have the handle replaced in Sept. 2016 because it had cracked. Great, they ordered the part and replaced the assembly and it cost $60, not horrible as the same part on amazon is $42. The handle is loose according to the cleaners but they said no big deal. April 2017, the handle completely falls apart as our cleaners is using it. Because it is over 90 days since the part was sold, Anderson's wouldn't stand behind the part or work. Okay, fine, we bit the bullet and replaced it for another $60. In February 2018, I get reports that the handle has been "loose" again since the day Anderson's replaced it and that the handle has gotten hotter over the year of use. As I am engineer, I go check out the vacuum out of curiosity. There is clear crack in the handle, and when the power is on the handle smells of burning plastic. I take it apart and find there is an bare wire and it has shorted against the wiring assembly. It is melting into the plastic handle. I bring the handle into Anderson's and explain what I have found. Eric and Walter (surprisingly rude and inflexible sales associates) refuse to give a refund or even a credit on their unprofessional and shoddy work. Any reputable business should be checking for parts they install for shorts, manufacture defects, or any other potentially dangerous issue. If I were a client facing business and reselling any part, I would make sure it is something I support before endangering my clients. But not Anderson's and according to them the manufacture only stands behind their work for 90 days. Any longer than 90 days and if you get electrocuted or injured by a suddenly broken plastic handle, too bad. The sad part is that I told Eric that I was surprised by how frequently the handles were breaking and "If there was another option such as a different model vacuum that he could credit the cost of the handle replacement too, I would be happy to buy a new vacuum." He immediately refused to credit any part or work done on our vacuum because it was over 90 days (I got it Eric - 90 days). This is beyond a 90 day warranty issue, this is is safety issue, this is customer service issue, this is a morality issue. Eric couldn't grasp that today. Anderson's is the type of business that doesn't take responsibility for their work or products and kicks the proverbial can down the road. Unacceptable, I should be suing Anderson's for endangering our cleaners. Feels like this is going to be a lesson learned for me and hopefully Anderson's Vacuum. read more

A few years ago I took my canister vacuum into Anderson's Vacuum because it wasn't picking up and keeping the dirt in. They kind of embarrassed me and said I should change the bag more frequently. So I brought it home and it still was depositing the already-picked-up dirt in a small pile whenever and wherever I turned the machine off. So I took it back the next weekend and a different employee looked at it and said that there was a piece missing from the power head. Well, the piece wasn't missing the week before! Without admitting it, they must have forgot to put that piece back on and then discarded or misplaced it, maybe broke it. So, of course it wouldn't work right. The owner, who is a very nice man, offered me another used vacuum since they had no way of finding the missing part or ordering it. This replacement vacuum worked fine until recently when it had shut off on it's own a few times. I was able to restart it right away until finally it turned off and refused to restart. So I took it back in to Anderson's Vacuum where I explained the story about how I inherited this vacuum a few years earlier because of a snafu on their part. They said they'd be sure to "take care of me". Three days later I got a call from them that the vacuum would cost $306 to fix. It needed a main circuit board ($151), a pc connector ($60), new Hepa filters ($40), labor ($35), and tax ($20). I told them thanks but no thanks. I picked it up and drove less than a mile south on Broadway to another vacuum store where the guy had it running within 10 minutes. The problem was a blown fuse that cost less than $5. So buyer beware. I will never do business with Anderson's Vacuum again because I don't trust them. read more

I was skeptical about this place as I noticed they have both good and bad reviews. I am somewhat new to the smart phone thing. Anyway I have no idea this place could exist, selling and repairing vacuums. WOW was I wrong, I am a Denver local, so I am very glad I found it. They fixed my vacuum a few weeks ago, they also told me the vacuum won't stand up to the pet hair I had and they were right. When I was there the last time they showed me a Sebo, and I loved what I saw but insisted we do the repair. As I said they were right, my bissell did not work for long. They said the roller and roller holder were melted from the hair and it will only last a few vacuumings, if that, so they credited me for the labor on the last repair and gave me a $15 trade for my old vac towards a sebo. So far I love the thing and mostly I am writing this review because they told me if I was happy with their services to write a review. I am extremely happy, thanks Alex and the rest of the team! They must do very well both times I was impressed with how busy they are. Great people and I will be seeing them next time I need something. Oh I also purchased a double edge razor from their other store next to them. I love that too. read more
