I purchased a part for my dryer that required a left hand thread and the part they sold me had a right hand thread. So in order to fix my dryer I ended up ordering one online with the left hand thread When I came to return the one I had purchased I was told I had to pay a restocking fee of 25% because it was open. I told gage "kinda hard to tell what side tread it has without opening it" He proceeded to say "fair enough" but still charged the restocking fee. read more

Be careful to write down all interactions with this company. Went into to buy brand new speed queen washing machine and paid for it on credit card. Was told they would order new machine and it would be delivered in 2 weeks. We did not hear from them on day of delivery so we called. Was told it had not arrived. A month later they tried to deliver a dented floor model for same price as the ordered new model which never arrived. We said we would not accept the dented floor model and wanted our money back. They gave us back all but $98 (?) I filed a dispute with credit card company because they had not delivered a brand new model as we paid for, and credit card company was able to get us the $98 back. However, we put in a month of waiting and another month to get full credit for the fact they did not deliver as promised. read more

Turns out they use shady and crooked third-party services to make repairs which have left me without a washer for three weeks now. The "repair person" showed up and ordered a part that may or may not be there within the next two weeks !!! I have kids and dogs... I can't be without a washer for this long. When my dryer broke Costco showed up within 2 days, when my water heater broke I was able to get someone within HOURS. Appliance Factory and Mattress Kingdom may be the most disreputable business I have dealt with in years, I highly recommend shopping elsewhere or online for your appliance needs. In short, it all was great to place the order and like all sales felt good about the $12K new appliances order in June. Almost a month later the items still had not arrived, but I was promised that they were on their way to me. When the order finally arrived in mid-July, the boxes and brand-new appliances were not in great shape and at least one of the appliances was completely bent crushed. Their initial delay and then the damage delayed my kitchen by almost 6 weeks. Then when we finally got our kitchen rescheduled the appliance installer came back and inspected the rest of the appliances, finding that the $7500 Thermador range was DOA, and that the $1300+ dishwasher was also crushed within the foam packaging. So, you would think no problem I bought this from a reputable dealer and we will be taken care of. This was a not the case, Appliance Factory will not replace either appliance, nor will they file a claim with the shipper, and in writing, they offered me a $200 credit for my trouble with having a crushed dishwasher, and I am stuck replacing the $1300+ dishwasher, and hoping that Thermador will honor the manufacturer's warranty on a DOA range. Obviously, I will be left with no option other than my credit card to cancel and refund the order, and will see Appliance Factory in court if need be. V/R and recommend that your money be spent somewhere else. read more

Yesterday. On my day off, i needed to purchase and install a new stackable washer dryer so I went to Lowes. on Havana. They were out of stock of the item I needed. They directed me to their Littleton store because they showed one in stock. I went to home depot found the same item for $1 dollar more but they did I'd have to wait 10 days. I decided to go to Factory Appliance where house. They had what I needed for $200 less, threw in a 10 service warranty with the savings and saved 4% in sales tax because I live in unincorporated Lakewood. I just had to pick up in Thornton where the assist manager hooked me up. The wherehouse staff was professional and hard working. Shout out to the tall Afro-American who loaded up my appliances named Juwannado? He was friendly and kind. Great organization. Found the washer/dryer combo I've been looking for for a great price!! The transaction was quick and we are quite happy with our purchase.

We purchased about 20K in appliances from Appliance Factory in December 22. The items were ready in Feb. Not so bad so far considering shipping delays. Then came time to deliver. The 1st crew of installers showed up as scheduled, right after a huge snow storm. They said it didn't matter, and they delivered. Never offered to cover my wood floors or wear protective coverings. I had wet muddy floors. So while that crew was busy, another crew showed up to install more appliances. Same thing as the first crew. No consideration for my house. I could have stopped them but I wanted to get everything installed for a weekend gathering. The second crew could not complete the install of a second overhead microwave that had a false drywall covering above it. I opened it up for them and there was a stripped head on one of the screws holding to old unit. They said they did not have the tools or experience to do it. That crew installed a wall oven, VERY poorly. They were very reckless in trying to force the unit into the space, I finally told them the electrical outlet was the issue as it was blocking the unit from sliding all the way in. That was after they had roughly cut away part of the wood cabinet, trying to get it to fix. VERY poor workman ship. They then moved the outlet, and it fit correctly. I later removed the old unit in about 10 min. We waited another week before the last appliance was installed, and they did have that installer install the second microwave. Overall they did get everything installed. The sales person was very nice. We are an elderly couple, and I really felt the installers didn't care and kind of took advantage of us. I don't know who to recommend purchasing appliances from. They all seem to not care after the sale. Some even before the sale. I went to Ferguson prior to AF and they told me to come back when I had an appointment. read more

This place was incredibly rude, me and three other friends all college students 19-20 entered the store too look at microwaves for our apartments. Was immediately approached and rudely asked where our parents were or if we had them with us. Then told us this was not a store for horsing around, this was 11:30 we were paying customers who the hell says that to the only customers in their store? I responded by explaining we are college students and that I was shopping for a microwave, adding that I did not appreciate the way he confronted us. I have a question I have a Frigidaire stove I was cleaning the oven and when finished the fuse blew now does the oven itself have a fuse in it because when I went to reset the outlet in the wall it wouldn't let me it kept pushing back out from the wall so I was thinking that maybe if the stove had a fuse that could be causing the wall outlet not to be letting me reset it because it's not a fuse blown. Get what Iam saying so now I can't plug my stove in all I did different was clean my stove never had this problem before can't plug it in or that outlet won't let me reset it. read more

We bought a new fridge the other day- with my 97 year old mother. Zach Fitzgerald was VERY VERY patient and helpful. We ended up with the top rated fridge (LG) on the planet. Delivery was fast and good. I've had nothing but horrible experience elsewhere, and have been buying my appliances from Appliance factory for the past 20 years with good experience. Noted: their prices are indeed the best. HDepot would have charged $500 more for the exact same fridge- promising "free" delivery... hahah. They put everything onto the price you pay anyway, nothing is free. The one time I went to HDepot for a stove, delivery never showed up- and I had to get a refund. Absolute worst. I don't quite know what else to say. I purchased one of their 'supposedly' new open box refrigerators abut 2 weeks ago. These are supposedly new with dents or blemishes due to shipping. The blemishes wore on the sides so it fit my needs as it would be installed in a recessed area. Back then, delivery was slated well into April, so we picked it up and installed it ourselves. Things seemed fine when it turned on. All the lights worked, touch screen worked everything seemed fine. However, after many hours it was still the same temperature inside. Waited until the next morning just in case, still no cold. I bought a 5 year plan with this but the warranty folks at Brand Source told me they couldn't look at it as it was new. So another drive down to the store to chat with the manager Roscoe. He does the usual apologizing and said he would find a replacement and call the next day with the details. Next day rolls around and no call. I think maybe he's busy, who knows? Wait until around mid day the following day and call him again. This time he says they are waiting on something called a credit memo. I have no idea what a credit memo is. However, due to the time its taken so far to get it done, I can only assume it's an actual paper memo that goes across the country and lies in wait in each participating individuals inbox until they do something with it. It's apparently not something that could be done instantly on a computer though, even by a manager. So he say the credit memo is still being worked on and should be done the following day and he will of course call. Now, what I've learned is whenever Roscoe says he's going to call you; that's code for 'There is no way I'm ever going to call you' and I'm going to do absolutely nothing to assist you with the dead on arrival product you purchased from us. Yep, I fell for that line twice. So another day goes by and I decide to speak to someone else to see if I can move this forward in any way. This time I speak with Roger. I go thru the history with him and he checked into this and apparently found out that Roscoe had somehow entered wrong information into the system. So now we know that not only is Roscoe a liar, he's also incompetent as well. This time there is no mention of the mysterious 'credit memo' or replacement. Nope, this time there is supposed to be a work order placed for repair. He says he will get that arranged and call the next day. Now I'm pretty sure the folks here all went to the same customer service school that Roscoe went to as of he did not call back the next day. So yet another day later I call Roger again. At least this time he apologized for not calling back. Apparently he had not heard back from the folks at Brand Source. (shocking right?) He insisted he would get hold of them and set things right. No call the next day of course. I call the following day and I was told Brand Source would call for a repair time. Of course they didn't call. Called again today and since I didn't hear from the repair folks they doubt I would as they don't work weekends of course. Google wont let me write much more so some final words. I've been a customer service manager for over a decade now. If I delivered the same level of service that I have gotten from the folks at this store, I would be fired on the spot and with good reason. I've purchased from their other stores on Evans and Bowles and had zero problems. Go there. The Santa Fe store will lie and do absolutely nothing to solve your problems. BUYER BEWARE! read more

We were hoping to find a reputable dealer to help us replace our appliances. What we found at Appliance Factory was far from. We started at the Appliance Factory Littleton store that was near our house, we knew the model and style we wanted. It was out of stock at the Littleton store, instead we were referred to the Appliance Factory Englewood store where we were told they had 4 units of the particular model we wanted. So we drove across town to the Englewood store. After they stumbled around for 5-10 minutes just trying to lookup the model we were told was here, it then took 2-3 employees an additional 20 minutes to locate the units in the back. They then roll out 2 completely mangled boxes. Again we should have walked out at this point, but we are now almost an hour into a transaction that should have only taken 30-minutes tops and we just wanted a microwave. Regardless, we begrudgingly decided to purchased one of the units. After slowly inputting and repeatedly misspelling our customer information, Justin then had me sign the receipt with their obscene terms of sales which he pointed out the "up to 50% restocking fee" then while talking to me about picking up the unit instead of having it delivered, he then had me sign an extra note on the receipt which I thought was stating that we were picking up the unit that day and not having it delivered, and at a quick glance you would think that because it also asks for a license plate number and drivers license, but later that night we reviewed the receipt and discovered it was actually an open box policy which we thought was extremely odd because we were still charged full-price for the unit. Plus, why would they need my license plate and drivers license info for an open box purchase? It was extremely deceptive how this was handled and presented. Justin then told me he would be there the next day (Sunday) if we had any questions. After reviewing everything that night, we went back on Sunday to see if we could just exchange for a different model. Justin was not there, the lady at the desk told us that we could make the exchange but the restocking fee is up to their accounting department and the sale person (Justin). We were told that they had a different model in stock but it would not be there until Tuesday. She ordered the replacement and told us to come back Tuesday. This is now 2-days for just purchasing a microwave... On Monday, Justin finally calls us back and tells us the replacement unit is in but this box is also damaged, less damaged than the unit we bought but still damaged. He then tells us he put in the request for the restocking fee waiver and said it usually only takes a few hours to be approved. We then go back on Tuesday evening, for the 3rd time, and Justin tells us the waiver has yet to be approved. We then decide to just cut our losses and pay the full 50% restocking fee, but Justin then tells us he can't even approve that and the return needs to still to be approved by accounting and that we would need to come back out AGAIN for the fourth time to just make the return. After cumbersomely carrying the mangled box back in the store, which Justin and the other sales associate just sat behind the desk watching us while my wife and I struggled to get into the door, we left the unit with them and are now waiting for their manager to call us back. Based on our overall experience they are probably going to come up with another excuse. We just wanted to find a reputable dealer to help us replace the appliances in our home. Instead we had to waste 4-days of our time and will probably lose the money on the microwave. This simple return transaction that should have taken 20-30 minutes is now going onto its fourth day. It sucks, we should have listened to our guts the second we walked into this place. However, the bright side is that we found that this is definitely a dealer not to do business with unless you want a major headache, especially on any type of return. I purchased an upright freezer from Appliance Factory 1.5 years ago. I also purchased a 2 year warranty since I purchased an off brand name (assured it was a good one and folks were happy with them i.e. Midea) the Whirlpool freezer I wanted was out of stock with no known date of when they would get more in. Now it keeps stopping, defrosting all the contents, it has done it twice. I have tried to schedule an appointment for service for 5 days now. They say they can't schedule the service without the S/N. It's on the back of the freezer!! I'm older, a new widow and I can NOT move the freezer to get them that number. The paperwork they delivered with it is so blurry no numbers can be read. I told them come out, service the freezer and get the S/N. She says it's against their policy!!! WHAT???? I need this 1.5 yr old freezer repaired or replaced. She gave me a number to call the warranty company directly and I got a recording that the number I dialed is not valid!!! read more

I purchased a set of front load washer and dryer. Pricing for the units was competitive so no issue there. Units were purchased on a Saturday, and I needed expedited delivery. I paid for the fastest delivery option, next day service; however, it could not be delivered until Tuesday since I missed their 2pm cut off and they don't deliver on Sunday. After some discussion, I begrudgingly accepted their delivery option since the alternative was waiting a little longer than a week. They really should simply call it expedited delivery; tagging it with next day was just insulting. Delivery arrived as scheduled, and they quickly pointed out the dryer control knob broke off. It was quickly addressed, and I was told they would call but no other specifics. I asked when and was quickly told "tomorrow". 2 days pass and still no call. I contacted the sales agent and he said he would send a follow up email but otherwise no way to expedite. After another few days of waiting, they finally called to deliver the knob-so it took well over a week to simply replace a broken control knob. Comically, later the same afternoon, I got another call from another installer trying to schedule a delivery. Nice...smh read more

BEWARE! I've bought appliances here for 18 years. I got mostly lucky until my last purchase of a Whirlpool refrigerator. 5 months after purchase all the LED lights went out. 38 days to get that repaired and under warranty was no big deal. 14 mos. The ice maker and the condenser went out to a $1300 repair on my $1800 refrigerator. 3 mos later the LED lights went out a second time. They want $139 x 5 = $695 + tax which doesn't include the $556 + tax for the freezer lights. Sooo another $1251 + tax for LED lights so we can actually see the contents. I bought a dishwasher at a great price, they delivered it, removed the old one and hauled it away, and installed the new one. I didn't have to do any scheduling or get involved in the process other than to place the order! AND it was installed 4 days after I purchased it. Other places wanted twice as much for installation, wanted months of lead time to install, you had to uninstall the old one yourself, and some of them didn't offer to haul the old one away. This was a completely no hassle experience PLUS the great price. I will certainly check them out next time I need some kind of appliance! read more

Do not purchase from this company. I have bought at least 4 kitchens and other appliances from this company. I remodeled my kitchen in 2018 and bought a complete kitchen from them. This weekend my dishwasher went out so I hired a repairman to fix it. When he pulled the dishwasher out we discovered water from the drain hose had been leaking all the time because of a bad install that pinched some small holes in the hose. The hardwood floor and the wall had a lot of mold. I talked to District manager Nate Nichols and sent pictures of everything. He claimed because it had been 6 they would not that any responsibility for the install and damage related to the install. All I was asking for was the $138 cost to put the new drain hose in and he completely denied to reimburse me. A customer who has spent at least 20K and they wouldn't pay a stinking $138. Talk about bad business practice. I don't know how this Nate Nichols made it to District manager. read more

Staff in the store was great when purchasing the product. A Whirlpool washer and pedestal was purchased on 4/17/23 and it took until July 27th for service to complete the installation. It was 8 calls to the store to get update on the service work order and it to be put on the service list to see why the washer was walking every time it was used. After the service came to the house, the part was to be ordered immediately and we would be back in the line immediately was part was received. 14 calls and visits later with 3 calls to Colorado, I was informed the part was received. No call that they were coming, they showed up to complete the installation the following day after we were told they found a part. read more

We have taken our time from work 2 times for a repair person to fix it and it still makes noise and freezes over. I had to edit this review way down due to character limits, but here's the gist: The price was good. Paid $499 for a decent mattress, delivery was $35 for driveway drop-off and I was even able to file on their website for a refund of that. Found the mattress for $100 cheaper elsewhere after purchasing and they did honor the price match. I did have to go back into the store for the price match, which was a little inconvenient but worth it. When I ordered the mattress (on 8/25) I was told it was on back order so there would be some delay in delivery. I understood that and was willing to wait. The weird thing was they couldn't tell me if the delay was going to be a week, a month, or longer. But Rick, the sales manager I was working with, said the orders are placed on Mondays so he should be able to call me with a delivery estimate the next Tuesday or Wednesday (8/28 or 29). I hear nothing from them so Wednesday is when I go in for the refund and I'm told there's still no idea as to when I'll be able to expect my mattress, but hopefully they'll know the next day. Six days go by and I hear nothing. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt since it was over a holiday weekend so I gave a little more time. Finally, Wednesday 9/5 I sent an email asking if there was any news on my mattress, and also why my refund that had been processed a week ago hadn't shown up on my account yet. I get an email back saying my mattress is here and delivery is scheduled for 9/12 (COMPLETELY ignoring my question about the refund). I had originally asked about a weekend delivery since I have a 9-5 and can't just take a whole day off to wait around for a mattress delivery. But my mom was able to rearrange her schedule so she could wait for it after a certain time of day. I respond back and ask what time of day the delivery would be so I could plan accordingly and make sure that date will work for me. Two days go by and I get ZERO response to my email so I call the store. They explain that they won't know what time it will be delivered until the truck is loaded the night before the delivery, at which point they'll be able to give me a two hour window. So I expressed my concern about not being able to have someone there until about 10am for the delivery and the gentleman said when they call let them know that and they can try to work with me, or worst case at that point move it to 9/13. So we left the delivery at 9/12 and I eagerly waited for the phone call on the 11th to let me know when I could expect my new mattress. The evening of 9/11 comes and goes and no phone call. So bright and early on the morning of 9/12 I call to find out what time that day I can expect my mattress. Turns out I can't. The reason I never got a phone call is because delivery was moved to the 13th. Without asking me or checking with me. I ask if they can tell me when it was moved because I spoke with someone on Friday and last I agreed to it was the 12th (and no, I did not misunderstand or miscommunicate that on the phone call). Supposedly in their records it was never set for the 12th, they had dates of the 7th and then moved to the 13th. Well it had never been set for the 7th as far as I had ever been told, but that's neither here nor there. Speaking of bad taste, I'll leave this review with one bit I was debating about including since it's not that big of a deal and if this were the only bad thing about the experience I wouldn't even bother. Before I went in to buy the mattress I had previously been in alone the weekend before doing some window shopping/price comparison. When I went back to actually buy it my mom was tagging along since we were spending the day together. The sales gug asks if I'm going to be financing it and I say no, I'm paying in full and he makes the comment "Oh you brought your bank huh?" Referring to my mother. Implying I had brought her to make the purchase for me and I wouldn't be spending my own money on it. I get the joke, but it was just in very poor taste. read more

We waited all day and finally after we tracked someone down we were told they weren't coming because the truck wasn't working. They came the next day, told us we needed an electrician then they would return later that day or the next day. Of course, no one came back and we were back to starting over with scheduling. We were told no one was available until December 23! Now it's December 23rd and someone just called to say they can't make it because their truck is losing heat. Ridiculous. Our washing machine broke and I asked Jonathan to find me a large capacity machine for around $1,000. While it took a few days of patience it paid off. He found me a brand new LG large capacity top load for my price point and I added a 4 year warranty. I live in a remote part of the mountains and they'll even deliv er, install and haul away my old beast for a nominal charge! This is normally a $1,500 machine and I am very happy! well done Jonathan at the sales team for finding me this beauty. In less than two more weeks we will have it in the basement, and I don't have to figure out how to get rid of the old one. I am impressed and recommend this business. read more

My refrigerator died. So we bought a $1,000 whirlpool doubledoor refrig. Waited a week for delivery. Paid for setup. But delivery guy said they couldn't set up water lines. We haD to do it.. after 2 days the freezer stopped freezing. I called store who said to call warranty people. They said call factory warranty . They SEnt out repair tech, he defrosted freezer & left 2 days later.....it quit again. , Called again then waited a week,, repair tech said its the motherboard...Now its almost 2 weeks later. Parts are backordered. Food is spoiling.. And I don't have a working refrigerator. After rethinking it. I would not recommend this store..I.wish I had not gone there!update whirlpool expedited parts. Diana was incredibly helpful in finding the exact appliance I needed in a hurry after my freezer broke down. It is missing a shelf and has a few dings but otherwise is a very nice appliance. I would rate Diana's service as a 5+ and the store overall at a 4 just due to the way it's organized. I was dreading the process of buying a new range and fridge, but these folks made it easy. They had what I was looking for and didn't use any high pressure sales pitches. They were flexible when I needed to switch from an electric range to a gas one, 24 hours after I had placed my order. They also gave me a refund of several hundred dollars when the prices dropped, before I took delivery. I would shop here again in a heartbeat. Excellent customer service. read more

I stopped in recently because I was hoping to find a refrigerator with a filter system for water. I didn't have much to spend so I was delighted when I found $1000 fridge for almost half off. It did take a while to get it delivered but since it was very close to the holidays it was understandable. When I bought the fridge it had only a very few very minor little cosmetic blemishes. However, when it got delivered, the door handles were TRASHED!!!! I was surprised when the fridge was delivered because I didn't think I would buy a fridge that was so beaten up. When I went through my old pictures days later I realized that I didn't buy it that way, it came to me that way after I bought it. Sad, very sad. CARELESS!!!!!! read more
