Delightful time trying Andolini's for the first time. The Blue Dome location is exactly what you'd want to find downtown. The pizza is more of a New York style pizza. (we tried the big one, not the Roman style) Unlike NY pizza, it had a beautifully, light crunch on the outside and light and airy on the inside of the crust. We ordered the Demarco of Brooklyn and it certainly did not disappoint. It was made with the most delightful flavors that spoke to the quality ingredients all on its own. Our server, Becky, was absolutely a delight and helped us on our journey through our first time here. She gave suggestions, history and tips about Andolini's. She even brought out us some samples of the gelato that I wished we had any room left in my stomach for a cup of my own of the lemoncello gelato. read more

Amazing garlic knots! I could almost eat a whole order myself. It's super convenient that this location offers slices. The slices are huge and the pepperoni was delicious. Service was great and the employees were friendly. It's a bit small but they also have outdoor seating. There are several side doors and I watched lots of people try to enter through a non-entrance. The main entrance is along Detroit Ave. The restroom situation is a single stall "water closet". read more

For a Saturday night it wasn't that busy. Was seated within 5 minutes. Compared to other pizza places, the crust seems a little sweet which is different. The Stromboli was huge. A cozy restaurant with a takeaway area if all you want is a quick slice. There was also outdoor seating, but it basically looks out over a parking lot and didn't seem that appealing. The pizza looks and smells delicious, and it was very tasty. Had to ask the server which options were gluten-free - turns out there are only two GF options. We chose the Athenian and it was excellent. GF pizzas are not as large, but that's pretty common. Nonetheless, it was more than enough for two of us to enjoy, plus extra to take home for later. Stopped here on a roadtrip and it's one of the most tasteless pizzas we have had. We tried one gluten free and one regular pizza, and both were super soft, tasteless, and hard to eat. I also got the garlic knots based on reviews, and they tasted like super greasy tasteless pieces of bread. Fairly disappointed given the number of reviews and price. read more

The truth: the diavolo pizza doesn't look super appetizing however it's a mighty fine pie. Sliced is my favorite of all the Ando locations. I love the by the slice option and I do believe it's the only Ando left where you can get the diavolo. read more

Stopped by here again while I was in Tulsa for a concert-- it's been a while! There's a nice outdoor patio where we sat at. We ordered the garlic knots which were drenched in garlic butter and parmesan in the best way. We ordered the half and half pizza. We ordered the Cinco de Quatro and the SPQR. When the pizza came out we had received the Triple Pepperoni Jamfest instead with the SPQR. We didn't want to bother the server with the issue so we went ahead and ate it as is. It was a huge portion and a tasty one! I wished the pepperoni one had a bit more hot honey to cut the fat since it was a bit greasy feeling. Went to Andolini's downtown before a concert and really enjoyed the garlic knots! There was tons of garlic butter at the bottom! Andolini's was delicious, as always. My sister and I shared the fried mozzarella, which we've had before and it's always good, and the Stromboli. It was packed with cheese, mushrooms, olives, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, and house made (I think) sausage. It's easily shareable and a great value. Our server, Sami B., was wonderful. Neat place and comfortable....a great place to kick back and have lunch or dinner. Fried mozzarella. Ok, this is appetizer was darn good. A great smooth mozzarella, with a great marinara side dipping sauce. The combination pizza. This pizza was sub-par or nothing too special. Crust was undercooked and ingredients and quality they were...this pizza (didn't) catch anyone's attention at our table. The Maui waui pizza. This specialty pizza was quite a bit better. The sauce worked with the jalapeños, pineapple and meats. I still didn't get too much out of the crust. Overall, would I come back? Sure, I'd try it again and see if I ran into anything else good. I was extremely disappointed with the service we received. First, let me say, it was New Year's Day and they were the only place open so I understand that they were busy and things were going to be slow. They told us it would be a 45 minute wait to be seated... no big deal. They actually seated us in about 25 minutes so we were pleased. The restaurant itself really wasn't all that busy although I do understand that they had a lot of to go orders. The problem is it took them another 30 minutes to take our order while I'm pretty sure they were taking call in orders in front of ours the whole time. After we ordered and had been seated for about an hour and 15 minutes we asked our waitress how much longer it would be and she told us "about 10 minutes". She then asked if we had plans and we said yes we are trying to get to a concert that starts in about 45 minutes. 15 minutes later the manager stopped by our table and told us our pizzas had just gone in the oven and it would be another 15 to 20 minutes... WHAT?? When we asked about the time discrepancy, the managers attitude was very much "so what". We asked to go ahead and get the check taken care of so we could leave as soon as the pizza came out and went ahead and paid the check in full. After being there for over two hours, we took the pizza to go and ate it in the car outside the concert venue. On top of all this, the pizza that I specifically asked if it had regular pizza sauce on it and was assured it did, had NO SAUCE at all! Terrible experience and terrible "I don't care" attitude from the staff. read more

My husband and I ate here for lunch today. This is our first time in Tulsa and of course our first time at Andolini's. We chose this place because of the raving reviews about the gluten free pizza crust and it did not disappoint. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the service was exceptional. The gelato was the icing on the cake! Absolutely delicious. The staff were very careful to suggest gelato flavors that are gluten free to ensure they were safe for me to eat. My husband and I are from South Alabama where southern hospitality is expected, but the amazing staff at Andolini's was just as hospitable as anyone in the deep south.
