Truthfully these isn't much to look at from the outside...has that dive feel, inside is about the same...but very clean and up kept. Salsa bar in the corner was nice with 3 choices...a round of Chorizo, Egg and cheese, and the GD goes for Bacon, Egg and Cheese....All the tacos were good size...Now I converted to Chorizo a few years back, as the bacon most places serve just doesn't make the cut...but the bacon was how bacon should be...thick and cooked perfectly...and I was lucky the GD couldn't finish her second taco and those few bites left we wishing I had ordered bacon. read more

Discovered during downtime in between tournament games, was hesitant at first. SUCH a GREAT experience! So clean on the inside, food came super fast/ less than 10mins (even w/a crowded dining area). The quality/grade of meat (beef & shredded chicken) was impressive! Normally the nice quality/grade of beef is only used at $$$-$$$$ restaurants but this place used it too! We have been shopping around in Brenham for property so we try different restaurants when we are here. Andrea's is now our top stopping place. The outside of the building is clean and the parking lot has tons of parking. When we walked in one of the ladies was cleaning. The dining area only has 8 tables and is SUPER clean!!! We were the only customers at that moment. It was wonderful to see someone cleaning and taking pride in there business. That's what gets you customers that are returning customers. The prices are extremely reasonable! We ordered a fajita beef tortas (to share) and I ordered one fajita beef tostado. My husband ordered 2 cheese enchiladas. The tostado was soooo delicious. The shell was crunchy and had a lot on it. The torta was good but I really liked the tostado better. The 2 enchiladas were quite large and my husband said they were good and very filling. The 2 ladies were very friendly and helpful. They have a "hot sauce" bar with 3 different hot sauces. My husband LOVES hot sauce and he really liked all three of them. When I was a student at Prairie View, I personally never took the 15-minute run to Brenham to enjoy these jewel. I would hear about how not only the food was great, but how inexpensive the food was as well. The tacos and enchiladas are amazing, with everything handmade in shop. The Al Pastor taco is my favorite, and at only $1.75, you can make a meal out of them with the leftover change you have in your car. I had a real hankering for some texmex, since I hadn't had any in a good long time, so this was definitely the place to go. This is not gourmet food. This is food of the people, of the worker, which is exactly what I wanted. I ordered two enchiladas and a burrito, and I enjoyed all of it. There is a station for adding things like different sauces, and I looked for what I figured would be the spiciest thing they had there. Wasn't too impressed with that... No one ever seems to put out the really spicy stuff. Ah well. My quest for that sort of thing will continue. This really is a place where workers go for food. Stopped by on the way home passing thru Brenham for a quick late breakfast. We were not disappointed, it's a simple no frills restaurant with plenty of choices. The ambiance is simple, about eight tables, the inside was very clean. You place your order at the counter and they will bring to your table. Not bad. Not bad at all. The food was actually pretty good. Huge selection of stuff, the prices were decent. We got two combo plates, two drinks and three tacos for $23. The staff was extra friendly, especially since we sat in the dining room for, like, three hours and no one so much as bigger us to get out. Which was actually really nice. The tres leche cake though. Sweet little gem in the middle of Brenham, Texas. The place is tiny, yet the food is on point. Tacos pescador were great and they give you 3 different salsa flavors. I preferred the verde sauce. My little one got the loaded curly fries with carne asada. The fries were crunchy even on the last bite. I took one star off because the bathroom door would not shut, much less lock.
