Sat at bar. Sunshine was bartender. She was nice. They open at 730 but don't have their bartenders come in till 8 and they are always overwhelmed trying to get bar open and serve customers. The food is simple nothing to it. My chicken fried steak was basic nothing fancy and the breakfast potatoes are your typical frozen no flavor yuck! My husband shrimp and grits were good so I give it 3 stars. They do offer a locals discount. Always clean inside.

Service was laid back. Chicken fingers were not remarkable and fries were oddly shaped. Shrimp appetizer was good but salsa was wilted and not appealing. Really wanted to enjoy the food but with all the great seafood restaurants in the area Andy D's was just adequate.

I have to say that we met Brian, bartender, who was absolutely one of the friendliest, easiest person to visit with, also he was so busy, but always was punctual to serve us. We went there three days in a row to eat, drink & visit Brian. The breakfast was excellent. Ambience was sports bar & tiki hut feel. Dogs were allowed.

We arrived and were seated immediately inside but were noted there would be a 15 minute wait for outside. They have live music outside and we were there to eat not ambiance so inside was nice for us. We were immediately greeted by an upbeat server who was on her A game and stayed on top of our service at our table besides being very busy. I had the shrimp tacos and they were delicious and the Mac and Cheese was hot and creamy. My friend had the redfish blackened and he said it was fresh, delicious and cooked to perfection. He said the German Potato Salad was out of this world. This was our first time here and if in the area we will visit again.

Was down for my daughter's wedding and was looking for a place close that could accommodate family and friends. Some locals highly recommend Andy D's, I'm so glad they did. Came in with a group of 24 and were seated within 15 minutes. Food and service were great, the live music along with the view were icing on the cake! Just loved the atmosphere and everything about it. Highly recommend.

Came in for the Mahi Mahi taco, sadly disappointed that they had run out of Mahi, BUT.. they were more than happy to substitute for Grouper! Fish was juicy, salsa on top was fantastic, service was great and attentive and the live music was fantastic, will gladly be going back!!

We were on vacation from Houston TX. We stayed at a condo located in Navarre near Andy D's while we were on vacation. We enjoyed going there several times. I recommend their Potato Kegs, they're delicious. I even purchased one of their stuffed red octopus's (so cute I couldn't resist) and named him Andy D. We can't wait to visit again one day. Many blessings to this wonderful restaurant. read more

Service is excellent. All the staff are pleasant and attentive. The bartenders are outstanding. The can personally say the Grouper and Red Fish are fresh and tasty. The music bingo on Thursday was fun. The patio has music and is quite busy. Although Happy hour brings people in, the food brings in many more people. Andy is present and interacts with the customers and staff. Wonderful local establishment! read more

We picked this place as it had the best reviews of the 3 restaurants near the pier. The service and food were terrible. We were seated by the hostess and then ignored by 10 waitresses for over 30 minutes. I've had better food at Captain Ds. The fish here made my daughter very ill too. Do not waste your time or money on this one! read more

We went here on a chance for the first time and we will be back. The staff was great the atmosphere was great the food was awesome. We had the burger and added bacon 1 with onion rings and 1 with sweet potato fries and all of it was awesome. We had the fried pickles and cheese and they were all amazing. We also had the Tropical mermaid and it was great. So all the way around the experience was great. We will be back for sure! read more

Kristin was a phenomenal waitress!! Super impressed with how quick she came to our table when we sat down!! The day before the 4th crazy busy!! She not only took care of us but gave extra special attention to our sweet boy and his need for something sweet!! The food was AMAZING as well!! Visited Wed July 19th. Food was Good. Service was Good and quick, There is a problem with how the advertised `15% Military and 10% Local is calculated. Unfortunately this can impact on Server who is often left to Try To Explain. Case in point: Requested Military Discount, Expected 15 % discount solely on Food. Food alone was $37; discount was $2.70. For us, it was not worth "fighting" over for a couple bucks; but management needs to "fix" so that Server doesn't feel the brunt. read more

New owners. Excellent staff - good service. Food was excellent also - good red fish, whitefish, and perfectly grilled burgers. Our sides of onion rings and sweet potato fries were warm but the entrees were hot. Chocolate cake - amazing - and enough for four people! We will definitely return. read more

The restaurant is very dirty. I have no idea if the food is good because after seeing how dirty it was I couldn't bring myself to eat there. It was just nasty. Dirt, crumbs, food bits everywhere. Dead flies in traps. Tables were sticky and unclean. It was just very unappetizing to the point that I left. read more

Despite the 3-star rating, it's worth checking out. Great location with large parking lot adjacent for beach access. Live music playing on the outside deck and by the looks of their board, they have live music often. Staff across the board were friendly and attentive. Appetizer (crab-stuffed mushrooms) was great. Blackened grouper was tasty and cooked well, but side dishes were lackluster. I was "talked into" getting the fried cheesecake for dessert...it's amazing, get it. read more

Local review: This place has been open 5 days and they are getting it done!!! Erika was busy but she took care of everyone with a smile and above and beyond customer service! The food was awesome! Over the course of the trip my family and I came here 3 times. We enjoyed our service each time and our food was delicious. Last night my boyfriend and I went for a date. We got seated within 10 minutes, they had live music which was so fun, and this cuban sandwhich I will be dreaming of til the next time I come into town. Only downside of this restaurant is that every time it has taken a good bit for the food to come out, but we've enjoyed ourselves and our appetizers and talking, that it hasn't really been a big deal. read more

Just left Navarre Beach. Andy D's was by far my favorite place to eat while vacationing there.The queso dip was the best I've ever had, and the fried cheesecake was out of this world! We had the sweetest waitress, Alisa. She took care of all of our needs and gave us great recommendations on what to order. We also had the owner, Andy D., make a point to speak to us and welcome us. If a crap had to use the bathroom this is where it would go only if it had diarrhea, the food is just crap. The servers are very nice but you gotta a 50/50 chance of your food coming out as ordered. Breakfast is way better than dinner, definitely the kinda place you pregame with12oz draft miller light running $7.00. No view by the way. The magi is dry, overcooked and probably frozen. read more

As locals we've been here several times. The food is always very good and the service is outstanding. Servers are very Friendly, helpful and attentive. Here's one reason why they stand out as a great place. We were there last Saturday and we had a family member from out of town with us. We mentioned to the server that he was from out of town and she was so welcoming. We finally finished our meal and next thing we know Andy sends over a slice of fried cheesecake to welcome our out of town guest to Andy D's. He then came over to meet us. This was special and very much appreciated. I encourage everyone to visit Andy D's and enjoy the food and the live music. Great time that doesn't disappoint. read more

Great addition to Navarre Beach! Food is delicious and the service is outstanding! Mel was our server for 2 breakfast meals and she was knowledgeable about the menu and we never wanted for a thing. First time here since new name and new ownership. Ordered 2 smoked tuna dip appetizers for the table. Was not fresh - couldn't eat it. We left overpriced for low quality food. I would not recommend this place for the food but is in a great location. Maybe a coffee or a quick drink but wouldn't eat here. read more

The prices are more reminiscent of LA but the quality of ingredients was great. The service, sufficiently attentive. The view? Omg spectacular. Parking is simple. It's tucked in Navarre Beach which is a quiet, peaceful place. We sat outside and had it to ourselves because it was hot. The indoor was cute though. Nice high, beam vaulted ceilings and very fun scallop shell light fixtures. It felt like a beach house but nonetheless we opted for the fresh air overlooking the gulf. We had shade although they also have sofa seating in the sun. The salad was the best I've had here locally. Reminiscent of a CA salad and I deeply missed that. The pork belly was wild! A thick generous portion. My husband devoured it. It was very good, although he found it slightly overdone, I did not as pork should be cooked thoroughly. I am looking forward to returning here. It's one of the best meals we had here, right on par with Jackson's & the Grand Marlin.

We've been visiting Navarre for several years and typically dined at a familiar Mexican restaurant near the bridge by Winn Dixie... which we've always enjoyed. However, this time we decided to try something new--and after reading the positive reviews for El Jalisco, we were eager to give it a shot. We arrived with a large family group and were pleasantly surprised to be seated within five minutes. The service was prompt and attentive throughout the evening. We started with three orders of cheese dip and two generous servings of freshly made guacamole--both were excellent. Everyone also enjoyed their drinks, which were well-crafted and refreshing. I ordered the Fajitas Cancun, and I was thoroughly impressed. Unlike the usual fajita dishes overloaded with green bell peppers and dry meat, this one was vibrant and flavorful--featuring a colorful mix of red, orange, yellow, and green bell peppers, along with sliced squash and mushrooms. The chicken, shrimp, and crab were all perfectly cooked and full of flavor--nothing was dry or overdone. My only minor suggestion would be to offer black beans as an option alongside refried beans. Overall, El Jalisco exceeded our expectations. It's a fantastic choice for anyone looking for quality Mexican cuisine in Navarre, and we'll absolutely be back! [Review 734] - 7th Review for 2025!

For dinner tonight we decided on trying Andy D's. We didn't know what we would be walking into when coming through the doors, but it was instantly electrifying!! Our server, Mike, suggested we try the fried grouper and he was spot on. The food was excellent, and the entertainment was great!! We played the soundboard bingo, sang along with all the music, met several servers all stopping by to visit and check on us, and had such the greatest time together as a family. Each time we needed something, Mike was there to run after what we needed, even though he had several other tables to take care of. My overall review of Andy D's is excellent. They deserve all the great reviews. If you think they suck, then you should check yourself... and probably go be miserable somewhere else. Andy Ds is our new hot spot when in town. read more

My wife and I stopped in for lunch a few weeks back. I will start by saying the service was great. I like what they have done with the bar, just wish there were more local beers on tap. It was a bit concerning seeing servers/bar hands behind the bar wearing tank tops. I really do not need to see your hairy armpits in a restaurant. For food, I ordered the fish tacos and I must say they were very uninspiring. The plating was just okay and I don't think I have ever had fish tacos without some sort of cheese. I prefer Cotija or feta on mine. Being a local, I already know what to expect in terms of "views" at this restaurant, there are none. But sitting next to a window looking out over the deck full of dilapidated restaurant equipment is not what I was expecting. read more

We went at about 7:30 on a Saturday night and the food was amazing. It is right by the pier and a short walk to the beach. The owner came over to greet us personally multiple times and gave amazing suggestions like saying to get the Cuban sandwich and made the experience even better! The service was great and our waitress was the sweetest and came over every few minutes to check on us and to refill drinks. I got a Sheryl temple, and the burger with fries. My boyfriend got the Cuban sandwich and said "it was the best sandwich I have ever had"! Our table had the gluten free peanut butter cheesecake as well as the fried cheesecake, which were all fantastic as well! I'm still dreaming about the shrimp tacos I devoured at Andy D's! The shrimp were perfectly cooked, but the real stars were the toppings - the sweet and tangy mango salsa and the sweet and spicy sauce added a depth of flavor that took these tacos to the next level. To Margaret W.; I have been coming to Andy D's for a hot minute. I have never had a problem with ANY of their bartenders. I can only assume that you have an unusually high level of Karenism that the staff was unable to accommodate and it ruffled your HOA feathers so much you had to go on YELP to air your grievances. We have eaten there 3 times now. Between 6 of us, we have tried a number of things on the menu. All parties liked their food. I have had the Redfish dinner and the Mahi sandwich twice.
