Good sized portions, we got our food quickly and our waitress, I think her name was Peggy (sorry if that is wrong) was great.

First time here and was not disappointed!…read more I picked this place based on its Yelp reviews. We were tired of going to the same places over and over for dinner so I picked a few towns over and the highest rated restaurant. Oh man! Here is how things shook out: Lobster salad sliders: 5 out of 5 stars. I would eat these again Portuguese garlic beef sliders: 2 out of 5 stars. I wanted to love these but the taste was slightly reminiscent of liver to me. Hubby LOVED it though so take my review with a grain of salt. Lemongrass mussels: 4/5. Definitely good but not my fav Seared tuna: 5/5. I would eat this all day, every day. I adore seared tuna. This was sliced thicker than I am used to but it was delicious! Grilled octopus salad: 5/5. This is tied with the tuna as my fav. So fresh and perfect for a hot summer evening meal!

Staff claims that the plates are small and great for sharing, but in our experience, the sizes were just the right size (we still shared). We tried the Macanese Pork Belly, which came with what was our favorite of the day, Portuguese Fried Rice. We also had the Chicken Thigh Skewers with Lemongrass Curry sauce, which was also very tasty! We will be coming back to try more items off the menu!

Connor was our server and he was outstanding!! He was very helpful when we were choosing our meals. I got the the Scallops with Bourbon Bacon Jam and my husband got the Walleye. So DeliciousThey have indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to dine in and enjoy this beautiful restaurant, but we did step outside on the patio after dinner to check out the river view and gorgeous sunset. We even got asked by one of the servers if we wanted our picture taken, and then another one asked also lol!! Everyone one was so very nice. The GM also stopped by our table to check on us and we had a great conversation with him. We highly recommend Real Seafood Co. in Bay City, MI and definitely will come back. Thank you for making our special night amazing!! We had a wonderful time!! P.S. If you go here, ask for Connor. He's awesome!!

I would highly recommend to call ahead to make a reservation. We had a little bit of a wait without one. The menu is vast and the portions are nice sizes. They have Prime Time, Lobster Tails, Filet Mignon, Grouper, King Crab, Mahi Mahi..... Everyone in our dining party ordered different things so we were able to sample several items from the menu. I ordered a steak with macaroni and cheese plus a side salad. The fresh bread was good. The winner for me was the take out carrot cake with the drizzle for later! Five stars! There was a full house on this day so the table and chairs are a little close in proximity. We were holding a hold conversation with the nice couple at the table next to us. They shared that they eat here often and split a meal amongst the two of them.

I ordered mine med they both came out well done. I kept mine and my daughter sent hers back. We ordered sides of zip sauce which is amazing on a steak. Nope not tonight someone was so heavy handed with the salt in this too. Our sides and my granddaughters fries were barely warm. The second filet comes out just like the first. Your known for steaks med rare and well done are to different ends of the spectrum. What a disappointment

I was excited to hear that my family decided to meet up there for a post-Thanksgiving/birthday celebration for my niece the day after Thanksgiving. My brother arranged their private room for our group of 13 and it was a great experience. It took a bit for them to make sure the room was ready, but it was so cozy and pretty. The "happy birthday" menus are a nice touch. We were also able to bring in our own cake/cupcakes. We ordered some appetizers for the table - calamari and spinach artichoke dip. They were both good but the spinach artichoke dip was my favorite. The calamari was cooked nicely but a little bland. The dipping sauces were nice and a good variety. For my entree, I went with the Market Catch - king ora salmon. You can choose from several different options and select your preferred cooking method. I went with broiled and asked for it medium rare. Our main meals all came out at staggered times, but it wasn't too bad. I really liked the mashed potatoes that came with my plate. The fish was a little under seasoned, but cooked pretty close to medium rare. The portion size was great for me. Others had the fish and chips, shrimp and crab tortellini, seared scallops and risotto, etc. The shrimp and crab tortellini looked especially delicious! I didn't hear any complaints about the meals. I did have a bite of the clam chowder and found the clam I had to be pretty chewy and tough. Our server was really great the entire time, with refills constantly being poured and managing everyone's orders well. I would recommend this spot for a special occasion in their private room.
