Caesar, Garden or Wedge Side Salad

We came here on a busy Saturday evening without reservations. Even though they were completely booked the hostess was able to squeeze 3 chairs together at the bar so we could eat. Appetizers were warm homemade bread and a garden salad. My entree was the Land and Sea. Fillet tenderloins, scallops and shrimp served was grilled asparagus. The tenderloins cut like butter, scallops were prepared perfectly and the shrimp was clean and well seasoned. The entire meal was fantastic. I must say it's one of the best Surf and Turf dishes I have ever had. The owner said it has been his best selling entree for the last 15 years and I can see why. My party had the chicken Parmesan and a Ruben sandwich which they said they both enjoyed. Booth, low/high top and bar seating. Full bar. Upscale but casual attire is allowed. Brick walls with a classy throwback atmosphere. Cloth napkins. Clean. Very good service. Limited street parking. Lot parking nearby. I haven't been here since before the pandemic but definitely will be coming back more often. Highly recommended.

Feel the stress of everyday life melt away from the second you walk in.  The atmosphere was open and rich.  Everyone was kind, thoughtful, friendly and the recommendations were perfect. The food was amazingly delicious. Kind: We arrived closer to closing and were pleasantly invited to please come in. Thoughtful: We were sharing our meal and our order came already divided.  We love dipping sauce for our sweet potatoes and our server whipped it up.  She even wrote down things to see during our next day visit. Recommendations: Our server really enjoyed helping and telling us about the tasty menu choices. You could tell she really loved the food there too.  A plus, we could taste the alcohol in our mixed drinks. Friendly: We are looking forward to going back and being treated so well. The Owner called our hotel to let us know we left a personal item and then he dropped it off on his way home. When asking where to eat, the Montague Inn confidently recommended Jake's and guaranteed we would love it.  They were right!

The restaurant smells like mildew. Food isn't bad but pricey for atmosphere. Service was excellent.

Very rude owner. Overpriced food. Mediocre at best.Known for being an upscale place but if I'm paying those prices I expect better.

I'm a little disappointed I suppose…read more After reading all the glowing reviews and looking over the menu I was sure I was going to have a delightful meal this evening. This restaurant is attached to what is clearly a dying mall, and that may be part of the issue they're having in terms of retaining staff and maintaining foot traffic. It is desperately hard to maintain a high quality standard in food when you simply don't have that many people coming in to eat. The staff I interacted with were generally friendly, but also quite busy and trying to keep up with the various tables. The seating options were a little uncomfortable, but serviceable overall. Everything appeared to be clean, although I noticed a bucket of dishes sitting out in the main dining room That was not being attended to. Given the volume of business they were having at the time this wasn't a huge deal. The food was a mixed bag. The chips were decent but a little greasy. My chicken was well prepared and had a delicious cheese sauce on it. The rice and beans were quite regrettable unfortunately. The beans were overcooked and too pasty, the rice had no real flavor to it. It really is a shame, I was looking forward to trying this place.

I was angry, I was like "no I'm not going in there, it's an abandoned restaurant in an abandoned…read moremall" I shouted in the midst of an argument with my wife who "wanted to try something new" Fortunately for me we had my mother in law with us who brought sense to the situation by just walking inside the Cazadores restaurant. This was some of the best Mexican food I've had, period.

The atmosphere the last in time that I went, which will be completely the last time I'll never go again was not for me. They were playing some sort of annoying music that sounded like you were trapped inside of a video game on waiting mode. You know when the avatar is just like bouncing around it felt like somebody was piercing your brain the Jus (sauce) was extremely watery. It just was not good sorry. The last time that I ever went there when they were playing that music, there were three tables there that asked if they could please change the music in the guy wouldn't change it. And I understand every business has the right to play whatever music they want, but all three of the tables were discussing how it sounded like we were trapped in a video game. I won't be going back. I will say the waiters who work there are very friendly and sweet.
