Once he gave the guy his food he picked up his cell phone and began texting/browsing. He did not greet me or make eye contact. He showed no acknowledgement of my presence. I said "hello" and asked if they sold individual slices of pizza. He said yes without offering any help. I browsed the menu attempting to find the slice pizza prices. The phone ringed and he picked it up. He proceeded to take the caller order, verifying they deliver and took their address down. I walked out the store and said "that was rude" before leaving. A few seconds later one of the men who were working in the back walked out of the restaurant and approached me. He asked why I left. I told him I wasn't treated like a valued customer so there's no reason for me to be a customer. He said he saw me waiting and was going to take my order but I walked out before he got to the register. I told him I appreciated his concern but I won't ever purchase anything from there. The guy was really sweet and seemed sincere but I didn't place an order. Pizza shops comes and goes often in DC and I really wanted to try this place out. Hopefully this review will prevent the next person from experiencing what I did. It never feels good to be ignored. It cost no money to be polite.
