I just ordered from Andy's Pizzeria and when I went to pick up my food I was charged a fee for "not paying cash." To charge this fee, especially during a time like this when everyone is already dealing with skyrocketing menu prices is just completely unfair I feel. Okay seriously, if you live in the West Kendall area, please make it out to this place!! My boyfriend's family and I were trying to find a place to grab a bite before we went out. We randomly stumbled upon this place thanks to Yelp! From the second we called to place our order until we picked up our food, the service was SOOO awesome! It's a family owned business (which I'm a HUGE fan of). I called to place the order and the kid on the phone was so sweet, and even threw in a 2 liter bottle of Coke for free! When we got there, my boyfriend got down to pick everything up and I was surprise when he came back and the kid who we had placed our order with came out with him to help bring the food to the car! As far as food, it was delicious! I had the Fettucini Al Pesto and it was SO good! It wasn't too garlic tasting or drenched in sauce and I didn't feel so bloated afterwards. I tried my boyfriend's pizza and it was thin and light on the sauce. The pastas also come with a side of little garlic rolls and a house salad (garlic rolls were fantastic)! After a very long day decided to order delivery from here. The food arrived promptly which was a nice surprise considering it said 45-60 mins. It was very hot to the touch which I thought was amazing. Started off with the garlic rolls, very good! A little too dipped in oil but hey, it's delivery, always happens. Honestly, i didn't really know this place existed until i was in the mood for stuffed pasta shells and had to look specifically for that on yelp. A lot of my regular nearby pizzerias didn't have it, let alone regular pasta. So when i came across this, which is down the street in a shopping center, AND it had good reviews and great prices, i thought i had not much to lose. So i ordered the stuffed shells lunch special which comes with a canned soda and 3 garlic rolls. The guy was super nice on the phone and patient with me with all my questions, being a first time customer. It was ready within 10 mins. The staff was so so so friendly when i arrived. The young guy and gal there greeted me with a smile. I have to say, it's the little details that really stand out to me... so when the girl handed me my canned soda and straw wrapped inside of a little holiday-decorated clear goody bag with a little twisty tie on top, i was at loss of words! They took the time to individually wrap this to give an extra holiday twist to a simple menu item. I thought it was original, adorable, and thoughtful. Also, the girl walked me out and held the door open for me as i left. That's 5 star service right there! I will definitely be returning to try some of their other items as they look amazing!! What a nice little surprise! Started off with garlic rolls and they were done just right; crispy outside, chewy inside! We ordered the fried calamari and they were OK. We ended up eating here out of pure luck. We happen to be in the area and stumbled upon Andy's through Yelp. OH MY GOSH! Thank god we did. So so so yummy. We going on the routine Dollar Tree run with the wife and decided to eat lunch here. It's a small quaint place but don't judge the place until you eaten the food. We ordered the 2 slice special with sofa for $5. Zack, our "waiter", in quotation marks because there's no need for a waiter but their courtesy here goes way above and beyond for a small place. The pizza definitely reminds me of the rectangular pizzas from school but wayyyy better. One of the better pizzas I've had down here in SO MIA, and I say this in comparance to Casola's and The Big Cheese. The cheese is very good quality as in you bite and the cheese still sticks from the slice to your mouth plus it's not super oily. The sauce is a nice slightly sweet flavor and the crust could use a bit of work, just a one bit. The flavor is great just the texture could be a bit more crunchy but that just to my preference. Never been there before until 03.28.2021, when I decided to try them out. Boy, do I regret it. To begin with, they are not customer oriented at all. On top of that, their food is NOTHING out of this world. Their garlic rolls barely have any garlic/olive oil and their Greek salad was nothing to brag about and had no cucumbers. I asked for garlic powder for my large pizza (which was ok) and they gave me a little container with less than a tea spoon. I asked for another one and they asked for $.35 cents. What's next, $.50 for the xtra napkins? It's not all about the money guys...remember u need us, we don't need you. The competition is extensive and way better. I can't understand how some people can give you 4 or 5 stars. I truly hope you guys improve or you are going down. Next time, Steve's Pizza, Domino's or even Little Caesar's. They don't let you down. Thankful to have found this pizzeria. They are always super friendly, polite and very expedient with delivery...and when you have 2 very hungry little kids and no time...this is the perfect solution! My girlfriend had pasta carvonada which she thought it was ok, she mentioned the carvonada pasta shouldn't have that much sauce but it was still ok. Rainy Saturday night, found this on Yelp and decided to call and order delivery while worried with the rain the food would arrive an hour later. Person who answered the phone was the nicest, best order taker EVER. Repeated everything to confirm and actually sounded happy I called. What a rarity. Food arrived exactly 20 minutes later by another friendly employee, sounded happy to be delivering in the rain. Order was perfect. Rolls were traditional garlic rolls, done just right. Salad was good. Portions on pasta were huge, we each only ate half. I give them 5 stars on service but 4 overall as the pasta was a little bland in taste. Both carbonara and penne a la vodka. But that's ok, next time will order different dishes until I find the one we like, as it is rare to find such great service in west kendall. I am sure our next order will be awesome!
