I'm glad I found Andy's Tacos Jalisco on Yelp. This is a no-frills taco truck that just delivers on expectations. I got the chicken tacos and what made the tacos great for me are: 1. Tortillas tasted fresh and flavorful 2. Meat was juicy and most importantly chopped into smaller pieces than big chunks that most other places do 3. Orange and green salsas pack a heat punch with flavor The carmelized onions on the side had a nice sweet taste. They also give you a small pack of chips with utensils for a to-go order. So all in all, really tasty tacos and good service. There's street parking around the area near the truck.

Loved this place. Don't know why I hesitated to try it. Menu is in Spanish and English. Cashier spoke both. Got the tacos. Delicious. Loved the salsas: an orange one and a green one. Not sure which one, but one of them left my mouth with a pleasant burning sensation (that, don't worry, went away in less than an hour). They also have Vampiros, which seem to be a taco-like thing, served on a flat, crispy tortilla. Delicious. Going to this taco truck was such a pleasant experience, if you see it, stop by. Have an agua fresca (you can ask which flavors are available that day), or just a snack. I'm looking forward to trying (literally) everything on their menu.

Great food at this little spot. Good prices and free chips. Burritos are good. maybe a little too spicy, but you can ask for no hot salsa.

While photos of their SF location suggest some seeing, this OG location is pretty much pickup/delivery only: a fairly literal hole in the wall, located along a random quiet street. Most folks would probably opt to take home or eat at one of the "nearby" parks, but we've gotten in the habit of just eating in the car, which... not so great for something as messy as birria lol. I'll say that for most folks, this would probably easily be more a 4 star spot, while for us, it's more a 2 star since we're unlikely to come back. That's not to say the food was bad: on the contrary, the flavors were quite good, and the consomme was less salty than some of the others we've tried. But their food is HEAVY. Not just the birria itself, but also the burrito we got, and heavier than other places we've been for some reason, with the birria sitting in a pool of oil soon after we picked it up. This probably isn't a deterrent for most people though, so take this as you will. Accessibility: Not too relevant since this is really just a pickup spot, with the pickup window being at the usual height you'd find elsewhere.

It's a Mexican chain from AZ (popular I think, they have like 53K followers on Instagram), and they just opened multiple locations in Bay Area, so this time I decide to finally give it a try. I ordered the Tripa Mulitas, Torta, and Horchata drink, Mulitas was $7, Torta $14, and Horchata was $7. They're all delicious, I was actually shocked at the first bite because I didn't know Mexican food could be this great (like I ate at a lot of Mexican place before, but this place is just chef's kiss). You seriously have to try their torta!! It has grilled meat, cheese, avocado, lettuce and tomato, all packed in there. Together with their green sauce, red sauce and some of the onion & jalapeno salad, I'm good for the whole day. The flavors are just so authentic and hit the spot perfectly. I totally get why there is always a line now. They officially converted me into a regular from today! If you see a crowd, just jump in line, it's worth the wait.
