I used to come here with my friends but won't be any longer. My last few visits with Ruby and Natalie were great. However my last visit was awful. Their dip powder swatches do not match the color of the actual dip powder. It's pretty normal for the dip powder to look like a completely different color until you get a few layers on it. For example, the reds are often hot pink in the container. I picked up blue color that was a very gray undertone, and it ended up being a neon blue halfway through my manicure. When I mentioned that the color was off, and requested to see the sample swatch, they got extremely defensive and said that I chose that color and was OK with it, however it was not even close to the sample color and I just wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt before I realized after a couple coats that it wouldn't be the right color. When comparing the two colors they were completely different. Instead of them treating me like I was a normal person, the girl threw a fit and went to the back and started talking about me. It was such an odd experience because if I was on the other end and a swatch color clearly didn't match the color that it was becoming I would say oh my gosh I'm so sorry you're right it doesn't look the same. How can I make it right? That wasn't my experience. They made something that could've easily been fixed a very dramatic situation. Ben did my nails because the girl didn't want to do them anymore and I've had them for three days now and they are chipping. In lieu of giving them $80 every two weeks I'll find another salon. I went and got my nails done this week and the staff was so friendly and they look amazing! The lady helped me pick a color closest to what I was wanting and it turned out better than I expected. The pedicures are pretty pricy ($40?) but from my experience here, they do a very thorough job. You will get your callus removed, a foot mask, a nice warm towel, plus, a pretty nice feet massage. Total time in the chair is about 30-45 minutes. I was enjoying myself, so I wasn't keeping track. This is a pretty long time, in my experience. The manicures are very well done, very thorough but maybe a little basic (which I feel like is the preferred style for customers in this area). There is nothing wrong with being a little basic. Sometimes, you just want nice groomed nails without being loud or extreme. I am from the city, so I always like some sort of design on my nails. Nothing crazy or bold like Cardi B but something a little extra to make me feel like a princess coming out of the salon. So, for a little extra, you can work with Julie, the owner, and have a top notch design for your nail. Her designs are absolutely beautiful! I went here a day before my daughter's prom. Under normal circumstances the place is decent but on this particular day, it felt rushed. We were met with attitude because I requested an orange and mango manicure which was on the website. If you do not offer that service, don't put it on the website. I was willing to just go with a plain manicure but again....the attitude was not necessary. You simply say we don't offer that service no more and then offer other options you do have. That is good customer service rather than what I was met with. Then to mock me and laugh with the person doing my daughter's manicure was a little too much. Regardless how you say it Mango sounds the same in most languages but to laugh...I will request someone else next time I'm there. And then had the nerve to watch me as I paid for the service to see what type of tip I was going to give. $10 total. $5 for him and $5 for the other. It should have been $0 but that was me being semi-nice even though our service sucked. The best pedicure I've gotten in a while! I got the Tropical Mango package & it was definitely worth the $65. I came at 1pm on a Saturday & left by 1:30 too. The massage was awesome! I asked her name, but I can't seem to remember. She was so sweet too. I will returning. read more

My daughter and a few friends (as well my wife) all received pedicures for my daughter's birthday celebration. The service was excellent and the girls all enjoyed the treatment they received. Unfortunately, my daughter left her purse with all of her birthday money and gift cards that she received. We did not notice it was gone for almost a week. To our surprise, when we called the nail salon, they had safely stored the purse for us with all of the contents still inside. Today I called, this rude guy answers and tells me that my regular person who does my nail is off today. So I come and I came to find out that my lady was working. Then this new lady does my gel manicure, hits my finger/skin with that machine thingy and it hurt. I told her to be careful next time. It was downhill from there. She did a botched job on my nails for sure out of retaliation. Then i told her that my nails looked terrible. She has the audacity to shake her head. Are you serious? This place is a rip off. I took my two granddaughters ages 8 and 14 to get their nails done. The oldest got a full set and the youngest got her nails polished with gel polish and a pedicure and they charged me almost $200.00. This place is insane....... I personally didn't have a good experience. I came in to get my nails done for my first and last homecoming dance, and to my disappointment they didn't turn out well. Overall the tech desk had nail dust and there was random debris on the desk next to me. There was bit of pinching with my cuticle area and now that I'm home they are sore and red. Nails uneven. Unsure if drillbit is cleaned between clients as well as if they use separate files per customers as well. Color is nice and the lady who did the color was sweet. I have gone to this salon for about 2 years now. I always see Di and he does a fantastic job on my nails everytime, plus he is quick! He has been out of the country for the past two months and after my last set with him finally came off, I have waited 3 extra weeks without nails just because I wanted to wait until he got back to do them. However, I had a wedding coming up this weekend so I needed to get them done. I ended up with Brian. He had done my nails once before and as soon as I sat down with him I knew it would be bad. My nails just look straight up bad and they feel worse. He put so many layers of powder on my nails and barely drilled any of it down. Most of the nails are wider than my actual nail bed is and they are all mis-shapen with different thicknesses. It was like this last time I saw him as well. Clearly he should not be doing any sort of nail enhancements because this is so poorly done. Also, forgot to mention that this took 90 minutes!!!!! Literally forever. And ended up paying $75 total including my tip (which I feel like I over tipped) because I chose the ombré so they would look nice for this wedding. It is disappointing that there are some nail techs in this place that are so bad. Especially since I know Di always does an incredible job and Julie is so good. Why is there such a different standard of work between the techs? Bottom line, I will not be coming back until Di is back. He is this only one I trust with my nails and will not settle or "risk" it with somebody else. The reason for my one star is because this place is moderately expensive and if it's going to be pricing that way, then the standard of their work should be the same across the board and no matter what tech you get. This is the third time I've been here. The first time I was pleased, second time not so much, but this time I'm pretty unhappy. It took the woman all but 10 minutes to do my full set of dip powder. The powder ended up all over the skin around my nails and wouldn't come off. She told me I was done and to wash my hands, and I explained to her that the powder was stuck to my skin. She was already onto her next client, rushed me out and told me I "just have to scrape it off"... well after 20 minutes of scraping my skin raw it finally came off. I think the draw to going today was the fact that they were open at 0900 which was perfect for the off time I had... never ever again, think I'll just wait til 10am.... Very abrupt in speaking when I walked in and mind you no other customer was in there thats to start. Wrong nail shape which I can take responsibility for bc I could have said something so that's on me.... the color I have doesn't cover full nail and I didn't realize it until I'm already home and the thickness of the nails don't remotely match.... Customer service is appalling. I arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early and just walking in the door the first thing I heard is "you are late"! I responded no I am not I am early. At that point they started talking in Thai, so the lady that was supposed to do my nails start filing them in an aggressive manner, she gets up and again she starts speaking Thai to the other technicians. This guy comes over and tells me that I am late , again I tell him that I am not, I work till 5 so I been doing my appointments for 5:30 for about 2 years. I said it looks like the owner who took my appointment made a mistake, it didn't matter they just keep going about me being late and they have other customers. They never made an offer for me to wait or an apology for their mistake. I think it was very rude when they all began talking in their language in front of the customer, obviously I knew they were talking about me. I went in there to have a basic manicure and pedicure. The girl could not speak much English and she messed up both my toenails and fingernails. I was talked to sternly by a man about waiting for my nails to dry as if it was my fault (!) She was the one who told me to go-I returned the following day to redo 5 of my fingernails because they were all smudged and I was going to a graduation dinner that night. I showed my receipt and then had to wait almost an hour for the same girl who didn't do it right the first time. It was hot in the shop and maddening to have to sit around waiting for the same girl. When she finally came-she made the same mistakes just painting my nails. I did not want gel because I was trying to give my nails a break. The following day 2 of my nails were messed up again... Nails didn't last two minute. I walked in on a time limit. They saw me right away I asked for gel cause she said it was quicker. She dipped my nails in powder then spent a ridiculous amount of time on the left and didnt even do the right because I reminded her I was on a time limit and I need to get married. I walked in with plenty of time and walked out late. Then the nails didn't even hold. She messed them up then tired to ignore it. After SHE messed up with the tool and shaved half the nail of tried to blame me cause my thumb didn't bend in an abnormal way. I sat in comfy cause she's trying to move me all over. I went in to get a manicure, I should have stopped the jerk that started my nails from the start when he kept coughing non-stop, used a dirty paper towel and cut the side of my cuticle by pushing to deep. He was extremely rude from the start. The color I chose did not show up correctly on my thumb so he told me to go pick something else, I said at this point. I am done, just take it off. I am leaving, when I went to leave, he told me I had to pay. When I said for what? His reply was for the service, I said what service? When I asked to speak to the manager, he said he was the manager! I can not believe this man is a manager of a establishment! At this point, I just wanted to leave and said how much, he told me $15.
