Coming from California, bad having tried many nail techs I will say he did my best set here in SOMD. No chunky acrylic, no super glue leaking out and overlayed acrylic. Their dip powder swatches do not match the color of the actual dip powder. It's pretty normal for the dip powder to look like a completely different color until you get a few layers on it. For example, the reds are often hot pink in the container. I picked up blue color that was a very gray undertone, and it ended up being a neon blue halfway through my manicure. When I mentioned that the color was off, and requested to see the sample swatch, they got extremely defensive and said that I chose that color and was OK with it, however it was not even close to the sample color and I just wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt before I realized after a couple coats that it wouldn't be the right color. When comparing the two colors they were completely different. Instead of them treating me like I was a normal person, the girl threw a fit and went to the back and started talking about me. It was such an odd experience because if I was on the other end and a swatch color clearly didn't match the color that it was becoming I would say oh my gosh I'm so sorry you're right it doesn't look the same. How can I make it right? That wasn't my experience. They made something that could've easily been fixed a very dramatic situation. Ben did my nails because the girl didn't want to do them anymore and I've had them for three days now and they are chipping. In lieu of giving them $80 every two weeks I'll find another salon.
