Nobody's time should be wasted or taken advantage of. As a first-time customer, I won't be returning mainly because the front desk lady couldn't explain why no one had come to update me that Sydney was running behind with another client. I didn't expect Sydney to come tell me herself, because she was already running behind. Sydney has the best personality, and she was very gentle during my pedi. Thank you again, Sydney! Also, walking into such a posh-looking spa shouldn't make you cringe when you sit down on their dirty couch. When I indulge in luxury, I want to feel valued, not like just a number to be placed into a pedi seat and left waiting without anyone being courteous enough to give me an update.

The chairs have great massage settings (though the higher ones can feel a little intense, so be careful lol). I also loved that they have nail color samples on sticks instead of only in books. It makes it so much easier to see how a color will actually look. My nails turned out gorgeous thanks to George and Teresa. My only real frustration is the booking process. You can only make appointments over the phone, and while I was able to schedule once via messaging, my later messages there were never responded to. It's a small thing, but it does make it less accessible or convenient to book for people with accessibility limitations, and that's the only thing that has stopped me from returning. Still, the staff I interacted with were friendly and skilled, and the results were beautiful. I would be back if there were more flexible ways to book for people with limitations.

Unfortunately, the morning of our appointments, while shaving, my razor slipped and nicked my ankle bone. When we got to the salon, I apologized, told the lady at the front that I couldn't do the deluxe pedicure, and the lady said I could do just gel nails. I originally selected a pink Cat Eye gel color. My friend selected a white color. Now, on to the service. My friend's pedicurist was a very friendly female. My pedicurist was a male and not friendly. When I told him the situation about not being able to do the deluxe pedicure, he acted like it was such an inconvenience to him that he had to do a regular polishing. Additionally, he told me that, because I was not doing the deluxe pedicure, he couldn't trim my toenails, but would do it anyway. Although I was glad that he chose to trim them, it made no sense why they typically don't with a regular polishing. He also said he would not be able to do anything with the cuticles, which is understandable. The cherry on top of this unpleasant sundae? After telling me he was out of the first pink shade I selected, I chose a darker pink Cat Eye gel color. He painted my toenails a glittery purple. I did want to say something before he completed one toe, but felt like I "inconvenienced" him enough, which was not my intention at all. Although I insisted on paying, my friend wanted to. When she got home, she sent me a photo of the receipt, which angered both of us. My pedicurist charged me for a gel polish change with removal, which came out to $30, and an additional $10 and $5 with no service descriptions next to these prices. For the record, I did not have toenail polish on when we came in for our appointments. We have never been scammed at a nail salon before. My friend was here to visit and we were looking forward to a relaxing nail salon day. This is one salon we will avoid in the future.
