Luis and his team have exceeded all of my expectations. I initially booked four separate contractors, and I wanted to cancel the remaining contractors after meeting Luis. At the time it was winter, and Luis told me that even though he could start painting, he urged me to wait until the weather was warmer and dry. He also made me get a lead test to make sure that both his crew, my family, and the environment were safe before he started work. None of the other contractors cared about either the weather, nor the potential for lead based paint. Fast forward to painting, him and his crew showed up on time every day, and were extremely professional. My wife and I took until the last second to choose our colors, and when we presented Luis with what we wanted, he told us that what we chose will look awesome initially, but because we wanted the house painted to dark, we're likely to see some fading in a few years, and it might leave us a little bummed. We decided to follow his advice, but had difficulty decided on colors, even though we were supposed to pain the next day! Luis did a great job for us cleaning and then staining our 7 year old covered redwood pergola and trellis. He tried a few color samples before we decided on the final color. He also made sure to verify if the previous stain was water or oil based, which is critical. He always communicated with us, so we knew the schedule. He and his helper did a very careful job covering all the surrounding areas before spraying. Luis is a pro and a great guy. When we have any future painting work, I will be contacting him. I'm way overdue to write this review for Luis. Angels Pro has done a few projects for us and we keep calling them back. Why? First, Luis is a standout professional, great guy, honest and hard-working. The quality of work is outstanding. They painted two fences for us - probably close to 200 feet of fence. They take no short cuts, communication is great and they keep everything clean. After a year, we put up a new fence and called them back for that. Again, everything went smooth, no glitches, very happy with the work. Months later we put in a gazebo that needed painting. They did two tones and it looked fantastic - still does. Additionally, we had some patio furniture that they painted with the same color of the gazebo - rattan, so somewhat difficult to paint but turned out great. Luis noticed that the latch to our gate needed some adjustment, and on his own, took the time to get his tools and take care of it. The guy who installed the gate came back once to try to repair it and he couldn't do it, but Luis found a way to make it work! Luis is a great guy and going the extra mile to fix the gate just shows his good heart and good character. He has become our go-to painter for everything and anything. Luis from Angel's Pro Painting recently did a fantastic job with a wooden structure on our house that was starting to have paint flaking off the top. Luis sanded down the flaking paint, sealed up all of the cracks that were forming in the wood, and put a few coats of paint on it. It looks fantastic! He was also incredibly detailed as he covered anywhere around the area that might catch flakes from sanding or drips of paint, so he left the area pristine afterwards. The amount of time he spent on prep work and the attention to detail through the entire job was extraordinary and we could not be more pleased with the final outcome. We had three different painters bid before we made our selection, Luis was the only one that actually showed up to see the job and provided a thorough and detailed estimate of all that would be done. Lastly, he was the first contractor that we've found in the area that is communicative. I was prepping my old home for sale and the interior needed to be completely repainted. Via my Yelp projects page, I had met with a few different painting companies, and only 2 actually got back to me with quotes. I had a good feeling after my initial meeting with Luis so after reviewing Luis' quote and some of his work, I had agreed to move forward. TL;DR - Incredibly impressed with Luis and Angel's Pro Painting. Have already recommended them to friends and would highly recommend them to anyone. Luis and his crew recently completed a massive exterior paint job for our whole house, covered wraparound porch, and tuff shed. For starters, their bid was slightly lower than any other bid we got for the job, which is definitely a plus! Luis came and looked at the project and was incredibly professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He provided a detailed estimate with photos of the project to be completed. He also was able to give suggestions on paint type and colors. Luis and his team worked 5 long consecutive days on the project and were incredibly meticulous about every detail, from powerwashing to taping and masking. When the project was finished every line was crisp and clean. He even came back later to touch up an exterior door that we had to have repaired after the paint job was finished.
