Walked in on Friday to order a cake for our daughter's birthday for Sunday. Isabella was the friendly young lady behind the counter who greeted us and helped us with this order. The place is very cute little mom and Pop shop. they have cake slices of cakes, other pastries, and also coffee that you can purchase from them also as well as cookies. They have a day old shelf with things you can also buy. Because they close on Sundays, they made an accommodation for us to be open at 10 AM so that we can stop by and pick it up. We came back on Sunday 10 minutes before our pick up time and the owner was already in there waiting for us to come pick up the cake. I had a small conversation with him, He was super friendly super nice. I definitely highly recommend a business like this to everybody who wants a sweet treat or coffee. read more

To say I am disappointed in the $70 Birthday cake my husband purchased is an understatement. He ordered a lemon cake with raspberry preserves with buttercream icing. What we received was a dry cake with hardly any flavor. My Mother thought it was just a yellow cake, she couldn't even taste the lemon. And she is an experienced baker. She made our lemon and raspberry wedding cake, that my husband was trying to recreate. The raspberry "preserves" were gelatinous, like pie filling from a can. Preserves should be a jam like consistency, only with larger fruit pieces. But sadly, this was goopy and artificial tasting. And the buttercream was greasy, not creamy, like it was made from Crisco shortening (not butter), sugar and water. It didn't even have any flavor (maybe they forgot to put vanilla extract in it?) Even the construction of the cake was poor. They clearly didn't put enough batter in the pans. Normally you shave the rounded top off to make it flat. This bakery just added tons of icing in an attempt to make up for the rounded edges. Which also meant there were barely any raspberry "preserves" in between the layers. And last but not least. When my husband special ordered the cake (in person) he asked for white sprinkles. When he arrived to pick up the cake, it wasn't ready. And they told him they didn't have white sprinkles. And offered to cover the entire cake in tiny rock hard pearls, that are typically only used sparingly for decorative purposes. Because they are so hard, many decorators recommend removing them before eating! My Dad bit into it and said it was like trying to eat buck shot. My Father has never met a cake or sweet he didn't like, until now. He didn't want another piece during his entire visit. My mother and I didn't even finish our first piece. To charge $70 for this 8" cake was just criminal. I would have returned it if I could. read more

I called to order cookies and ended up grabbing sandwiches to eat and some coffee, I would recommend them, unfortunately. Not sure what time of oat milk they use, but I was not a fan. My egg croissant sandwich had mayonnaise and seemed very greasy. However the cookies were a hit and were all gone after the event, which are very reasonably priced at $.95/cookie. We walked into the bakery Andy found a cookie he wanted I gave him the money I came out to the car he paid for the cookie and then came out to the car with his change from a $5 bill the cookie was $2.95 which by itself was an absolute ripoff for a cookie the size of 50 cent piece . Besides that they only gave him the change as if he had given them four dollars just coins and they kept his dollar bill . Those people should not have charged sales tax on a item to go and since we weren't sitting at a table and since I was outside in the car waiting for him and they could see me obviously that was a to go item sales tax was inappropriate and as far as I'm concerned that stealing . I took the receipt and the coins and I went back in and I dumped them on the counter and I said here you might as well steal all of it and I walked out . To top it off the cookie was hard as a rock instead of putting away their products that are too old to sell they just didn't care . On top of all of that I went in for a bagel which they advertised that they are a bagel shop but they didn't have any bagels and they only make two kinds of bagels anyway plane and sesame seed . Which tells me they just buy them from a local bagel shop . I would never support a merchant like this . I hope they enjoy the net $2 they got which was not theirs and the $3 they got for a stale old cookie . This local shop was able to make a delicious birthday cake overnight with little notice. I had difficulty navigating the website to order online but I think it was just internet explorer. I was able to walk in and they made sure to help that way. Another thing about online, they called me back maybe ten minutes after sending a message so great response. The store is a cute little cubby. Parking is limited at the location but it's easy to park and walk to the shop as it located close to the main part of town. Inside they have a ton of baked goods on display. They also have coffee on the other side with little tables you can sit at. It's smells like cake and coffee in the store. This was a small bakery with a lot of goodies. I went in on a weekend during the afternoon and there were no other customers so I didn't have to wait to be helped. I got 2 boxes of cookies, a la carte pastries, and one coffee. The cookies were awesome but I didn't care for the coffee, as it tasted a little old. The cashier was nice though, answered all my questions, and gave good recommendations. Overall I liked this place and would recommend it. I would definitely go back to try other pastries. read more

I ordered 2 custom cakes for my friends from Angelina's as a surprise for their birthday weekend. I called in both cakes over the phone and paid beforehand since they were both custom cakes. The first cake I ordered with custom piping, whipped cream icing, and mango mousse filling in a 6" white cake came out to $55. I sent pictures over of the piping I wanted done and they were able to execute the vision perfectly. The second was a 6" marble guava mousse cake with vanilla buttercream and no special piping so it was $35. It was harder to picture what this cake would look like since this was over the phone, I would specify what design you want on top of the cake since I was expecting rosettes but they did icing dollops with drops of the guava on top. The group thought the mango mousse was really good and went well with the lighter whipped cream icing. The guava mousse was too sweet with the vanilla buttercream, every bite felt like sugar overload and not enough cake to balance it out. I think if the guava filling was thinner it would have been better. Still a creative and unique cake, I definitely appreciated all the different options that they could do for the custom cakes. These two cakes were more than enough for 20 people. Service was great here and they made it so easy to order over the phone and pick up the cakes. Definitely stop by Angelina's for any of your custom cake needs! read more

They have a nice sitting area and a great selection of hot and cold coffee drinks. They charge $1 extra for almond milk. I'm not a big fan of cake but I purchased a couple of cakes recently (separate occasions); 3 Leches & German Chocolate. Both cakes were liked by everyone who ate them. My bf liked the 3 Leches Cake, he said it wasn't as sweet (which is a good thing). I did try the German chocolate cake, and I will say I had different expectations. To me, it was a basic chocolate cake and just topped with the german chocolate icing.
