Usually a wait time for this breakfast spot, so be prepared to wait. I had the benny, and would recommend. The egg was poached to my liking, and they refilled my drinks frequently without any prompting.

Corn beef hash. Chose multigrain toast, poached eggs, jalapeño havarti cheese and corn beef from can.

I have been to Angelina's a few times, from its old location on the Quay to this current place inside River Market. The food was good but I disliked the long wait for a table. While it is more known for its pannenkoek and breakfast dishes, I actually quite like the fish and chips. It was really nice. On my recent visit, we were a big group and the servers were great in topping up water and coffee constantly. I shared the big pannenkoek breakfast with my friend and the staff actually brought two smaller plates to accommodate the food. That's how big the portion is. I discovered a delicious way to eat the pannenkoek. Put a piece of meat into a strip of pannenkoek and roll it up like a crepe. Add a dollop of hollandaise sauce on it. Super yummy.

This restaurant is located at the end of the new Westminster Quay where my condo sits at the Murano. Upon entering the Restaurant, it is bright, light and large. We were seated at a booth and explored their humongous menu. We ordered the banana salted caramel waffle, the pierogi pannekeok and a fruit plate. My mother loved her breakfast so much she literally ate the whole thing. The fruit plate was exceptional with various types of fruit. My pierogi Pannekeok was amazing. The overall experience was our top breakfast experience during my visit to Vancouver.

We waited 45 minutes for a table which wasn't bad considering it was a Saturday. They text when the table is ready which is nice so we shopped around the marketplace. The peach waffle I thought would be more and the peaches were so sour but I guess it's end of season. The corned beef hash was not what I was expecting. Overall, the ambience and the service was nice. The price has gone up quite a bit. Waterfront brunch is always nice tho.

My friends and I came here for brunch on the weekend. A standard breakfast place. We all enjoyed our meals. Ambiance: 5/5 - if it's a beautiful day, go for the outdoor seating near the water. There's also interior seating too with a nice vibe to the place Food: 4/5 - Two of us had the breakfast platter of chorizo sausage with fresh fruit, roasted potatoes, toast and choice of 2 eggs and the other ordered the savory Dutch Pannekoeken with two range eggs, and turkey bacon. All servings were of decent portions. There are choices for the gluten-free and the vegetarians. A great place for breakfast. Server - 4/5 - friendly and helpful. It took a bit of time to get our meal. Parking - 3/5 - metered parking nearby with insufficient parking spots.

I'm not gonna lie, the service and food were just alright, but that ambiance though? Nice! And they've got gluten-free bread!

My favorite breakfast place, the caramel waffles are the best. The service I'd always great. The line is long, condider this on your visit.

Angelina's was a great place for my family and I to get breakfast near Vancouver. The service was great and friendly. The restaurant was clean and the food was great. I got the Big Pannekoek. Everything was cooked well and it needed up being a lot of food but I finished it. If I'm ever back in the area I'll know it's a good place to get some breakfast.

We ate at Angelina's for the first time this Easter. It was a very busy place, but service was relatively fast despite this. The food was excellent brunch fare and this place would be great for family.

Never had a pannenkoek before - it was good Service was fine, food was good. The seafood pannenkoek is skimpy with a few pieces of salmon and a few pieces of shrimp but if you're not looking for a heavy breakfast to get you through the day it might be for you It warmed up pretty quickly inside the restaurant as more people started to file in, it was almost uncomfortably warm but we were about to leave so it was fine Nice place with a nice view

Good brunch but slow service. My friend and I came Sunday morning around 11:20 and waited ~40 min. They'll take your number and text you when it's your turn to get seated. They have both indoor and patio seating. They have a huge brunch menu, with all the regular options such as hash, benedicts, omelettes, French toast, etc. And of course they have Dutch pancakes! I started with large glass of freshly squeezed orange juice ($6). It was really good, but the portions were smaller than what I was expecting for a large. I went with the Big Pannekoek ($21), which comes with baby potatoes, ham, bacon, sausage, bratwurst, and eggs. The bacon was very crispy, almost like bacon chips, but my favorite meats were the sausage and bratwurst. Both were very flavorful and went well with the pannekoek. I also tried the strawberry bellini slush ($6.50), which was nice and refreshing. I asked for my eggs to be poached, but they were served separately and had a weird vinegary taste. Should've gotten it scrambled instead. My friend had the Mexican omelette ($18) and really enjoyed that.

Bacon and eggs with pancake - yummy!

It literally changed our lives, and that is not an exaggeration. We get their pumpkin flax gluten free loaf and are never turning back. I, personally, am not allergic to gluten but this is still my favourite bread. Ever. We turn all of our friends on to their products and can happily say we have converted a fair share of people over to 6th ave bread. While we mainly get their fluffy delicious bread (at least a couple loafs per week) they also have other products that are to die for. First, they make hamburger and hotdog buns out of the same ingredients they make our bread from, which is super convenient for us. They also have a bunch of treats (chocolates, tarts, etc.) in the store which I often treat myself to whenever I go in to pick up bread. This is heaven for people with food allergies, especially gluten, but to be honest it's heaven for everyone else as well. They've got us hooked and are definitely doing something right!

Both drinks were made exceptionally well; impressively smooth, foamy, balanced, and clearly prepared with care rather than just being an afterthought. What really makes this place special is the atmosphere. The vibe feels genuinely inclusive and community-driven, with thoughtful touches like the pop-up bookstore featuring books on race, gender, and queer authors. It feels like a space built for connection, not just coffee. I also love how it transforms depending on the day. The daytime café energy is cozy and welcoming, while on select nights they stay open longer, serve alcohol, and host regular events like DJ nights, board game nights, and other community gatherings. It gives the space a lot of personality and makes it feel alive beyond the usual coffee shop experience. Definitely one of those places that feels more like a neighborhood hub than just a café. We ordered the following dishes for take out: Egusi with Pounded Yam Fufu: This was my favorite dish made with beef and the right amount of spice. The Fufu had a sticky texture which is between mashed potatoes and mochi. Fufu and Goat Light Soup: This is my second favorite dish since I love goat meat. The soup is lighter than the stew and not as spicy. It's flavorful and comforting. The Fufu was a more yellow color and I believe it was made with corn. This is only available on the weekends. I also got to try okro soup and kenkey (which tasted kind of like mashed sourdough). Personally I prefer a spicier egusi, but I am not sure which one is more authentic.
