onion rings-$11
Cally Y.

mid. i got the 2pc cod and chips ($23). fish seemed a bit too wet and fell apart when i tried to cut it. also it made the batter too wet. chips had this seasoning on that made it too salty, soup was okay and had vegetables in it, but it just tasted like salt. we also got onion rings to share ($11) and those were pretty nice and crispy. the chipotle mayo sauce was so good

I have been to Angelina's a few times, from its old location on the Quay to this current place inside River Market. The food was good but I disliked the long wait for a table. While it is more known for its pannenkoek and breakfast dishes, I actually quite like the fish and chips. It was really nice. On my recent visit, we were a big group and the servers were great in topping up water and coffee constantly. I shared the big pannenkoek breakfast with my friend and the staff actually brought two smaller plates to accommodate the food. That's how big the portion is. I discovered a delicious way to eat the pannenkoek. Put a piece of meat into a strip of pannenkoek and roll it up like a crepe. Add a dollop of hollandaise sauce on it. Super yummy.

Usually a wait time for this breakfast spot, so be prepared to wait. I had the benny, and would recommend. The egg was poached to my liking, and they refilled my drinks frequently without any prompting.

This restaurant is located at the end of the new Westminster Quay where my condo sits at the Murano. Upon entering the Restaurant, it is bright, light and large. We were seated at a booth and explored their humongous menu. We ordered the banana salted caramel waffle, the pierogi pannekeok and a fruit plate. My mother loved her breakfast so much she literally ate the whole thing. The fruit plate was exceptional with various types of fruit. My pierogi Pannekeok was amazing. The overall experience was our top breakfast experience during my visit to Vancouver.

We waited 45 minutes for a table which wasn't bad considering it was a Saturday. They text when the table is ready which is nice so we shopped around the marketplace. The peach waffle I thought would be more and the peaches were so sour but I guess it's end of season. The corned beef hash was not what I was expecting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, the ambience and the service was nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The price has gone up quite a bit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Waterfront brunch is always nice tho.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Breakfast platter with Chorizo sausage

My friends and I came here for brunch on the weekend. A standard breakfast place. We all enjoyed our meals. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance: 5/5 - if it's a beautiful day, go for the outdoor seating near the water. There's also interior seating too with a nice vibe to the place[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food: 4/5 - Two of us had the breakfast platter of chorizo sausage with fresh fruit, roasted potatoes, toast and choice of 2 eggs and the other ordered the savory Dutch Pannekoeken with two range eggs, and turkey bacon. All servings were of decent portions. There are choices for the gluten-free and the vegetarians. A great place for breakfast. Server - 4/5 - friendly and helpful. It took a bit of time to get our meal. Parking - 3/5 - metered parking nearby with insufficient parking spots.

Lovely !

I'm not gonna lie, the service and food were just alright, but [[HIGHLIGHT]]that ambiance though? Nice![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And they've got gluten-free bread!

Big Pannekoek

Angelina's was a great place for my family and I to get breakfast near Vancouver. The service was great and friendly. The restaurant was clean and the food was great. I got the Big Pannekoek. Everything was cooked well and it needed up being a lot of food but I finished it. If I'm ever back in the area I'll know it's a good place to get some breakfast.

Salted caramel waffle

My favorite breakfast place, the caramel waffles are the best. The service I'd always great. The line is long, condider this on your visit.

We ate at Angelina's for the first time this Easter. It was a very busy place, but service was relatively fast despite this. The food was excellent brunch fare and this place would be great for family.

Big pannenkoek

Never had a pannenkoek before - it was good Service was fine, food was good. The seafood pannenkoek is skimpy with a few pieces of salmon and a few pieces of shrimp but if you're not looking for a heavy breakfast to get you through the day it might be for you It warmed up pretty quickly inside the restaurant as more people started to file in, it was almost uncomfortably warm but we were about to leave so it was fine Nice place with a nice view

The menu has changed since new ownership and chef. Much greater variety and in a good way. We were seated on the patio which was spacious and had a nice back yard relaxing feel. Made the dining experience More relaxed and calm. I ordered the Westcoast seafood chowder which was delicious. Good proportions of seafood in the soup and good consistency and texture. I love chowder and this was a good one! The Philly cheese I ordered was packed with cheese as the cheese pull was amazing. Beef could be a bit more tender/ smaller cuts as was a bit hard to bite off but overall still good. Au jus was nice and salty soaked into the bread harmonized and evened it out. I also ordered a side of beef gravy for my fries and it was good thickness and taste. Wife had a Benny with fried chicken on it. I had a small taste and it was good as well. The owner is very nice and made sure at the end to take our comments and feedback. She seems very keen to make her business successful and customers happy. I found the food delicious and service good! Definitely would recommend.

We waited about 20-25 mins to get our order. It was a longer than usual wait but we didn't mind because our food was fresh and delicious. Food is a little pricey but we think it's worth it. We ordered deep fried pork hock, which was delicious. Portion is smaller compared to comparator Filipino restaurants but nonetheless it is packed with flavour. I am not a huge fan of the sauces that accompany the dish. The beef in peanut sauce was delicious! It's rich, creamy and a generous portion. Anything that's tossed in a rich peanut sauce really gets my tastebud dancing! We ordered 2 bowls of rice, I didn't appreciate $9 for 2 bowls of rice but oh well.... Excellent service, the lovely guy with the long hair was friendly and welcoming. He answered all our questions and was very polite. We paid $80 for 2 dishes, rice and a 15% tip. We'd like to try their buffet so will need to plan for that sometime this year, hopefully.

The halo-halo we ordered was from their ala carte menu, so we paid for this separately. What really stood out at this restaurant is the service because the servers were attentive and fun to be around during the live music performance. They have a band on the weekends which adds to the ambiance of this place. Definitely come here if you want to have a great time!
