    Salmon Gravlax Bagel

An amazing restaurant with lots of natural light and a friendly atmosphere and staff. I had the Salmon Gravlax Bagel and it was delicious with a good mixture of Salmon and Hollandaise sauce. If you're in North Vancouver give this a try.

The lower londsdale location is their second location (from Gastown) and the space offers alot of seating. We went during a saturday and there was no wait. We ordered the friend chicken and waffles, the portion was huge. The fried chicken was crispy and tender. The salmon bagel was on the smaller side but the poached egg was perfectly runny. Cute cafe like interior, close to the water. The food also came out very quickly. One of our favourite Vancouver brunch spots.

We came here for brunch on a weekend and was surprised to find it not too busy which was music to our ears. We had a little one in tow and they are very baby/kid/family friendly. They have high chairs and because it was not too busy - there was lots of space to move about. We got the mimosa flight and it was delicious! We then got the Chicken N French Toast and the Pulled BBQ Pork Shoulder benny. I found the chicken a bit dry for my liking but did enjoy the french toast twist rather then the usual waffles. The bbq pork was pretty juicy although the eggs on the benny could have been a bit more runny for being softly poached. Overall not bad and would highly recommend for the comforts for baby/family friendly dining.

Re-located from Vancouver, their new location was not as difficult to get to but free parking is hard to find. Great location as you can stroll along the harbour afterwards. The food was amazing and creative. The appys for Korean style steak tartar and grilled octopus were savoury but mouth watering. Perfect with their cocktails. Everything was seasoned well with hints of sweet and spice. The Sirloin was seasoned well and not over-cooked. The potato cake garnish paired very well and was extremely tasty. Duck was juicy and tender and the creative fried rice balls matched well with the cheese filled pasta. A bonus point to them for perfect texture.

Great brunch spot! One of top faves to visit on the north shore. Recommend also trying their banana bread with whipped coffee butter. For this particular brunch my partner got their chicken and fresh toast and he absolutely loved it. The sandwich and chips were delicious, but wasn't a fan of their pickles- did not have enough crunch for me. Aside from that 10/10

A couple of friends and I went to Catch 122 for lunch recently. To sum up our experience, my hat's off to a really nice non-chain restaurant that stands out from the uniformity of corporate chains :-) We all really enjoyed their unique approach to breakfast comfort food. Everything we tried was both well executed and very tasty. Overall their prices aren't low-end, but the quality of the food makes this place worthwhile. If I have any complaint, it would be the fact that the service can be hit or miss - the last time we came here, our server was MIA for large blocks if time. No complaints on that score for this most recent visit though :-)

    Mushroom pastries.

It really good food. Smells good. I looked other people food and got my attention. The Parmesan fries is just perfect! Compared to cliff restaurant at suspension bridge. Too much salty. But this place just right spot on. We came from Oregon to have vacation and decided to come this place for our last day. Last dessert just had a mushroom! Fabulous! Definitely come back again.

Brunch goals unlocked at Catch 122 Cafe bistro in North Vancouver's Lonsdale Quay! They've got brunch from 9am - 3pm every day, so you can indulge whenever you roll out of bed. Or if you're just in for a quick bite, their pastry and coffee selection is top-notch any time of day! With a mix of savoury and sweet dishes, there's something for everyone! We ordered: Iced Latte $5.5 Fresh Organic Cold-Pressed Orange Juice (8 oz $6 / 12 oz $8) Churros $8 (Deep fried house-made churro dough, cinnamon sugar, espresso cremeux, and dulce de leche) Chicken 'n Waffles $20 (Liege waffles, crispy chicken thighs, rosemary maple, and honey chipotle butter) KFC Dutch Baby Baked Pancake $23 (House-made gochujang sauce, buttermilk fried chicken, sunny side up egg, kimchi, sesame & nut dukkah, pickled cabbage, smoked tomato aioli, bok choy, and organic greens) All the dishes were delicious but the Churros stole the show. Their churros were simply divine, perfectly crispy outside and fluffy inside, paired with two delightful dipping sauces! If you like Korean cuisine then the KFC Dutch Baby Pancakes is a must try. Excellent brunch spot! And they take reservations! Table reserved online for a Friday in December with one day's notice. We took transit and the ferry from Vancouver. Super easy. Total cost of $85.88 CAD for 2 brunch entrees, 1 milk, 1 kid's entree, 1 coffee, 1 cocktail, 1 side of bacon. * Yuzu Fog ($12) - 5 stars Excellent, great texture, refreshing. * Duck Confit Toast ($25) - 4 stars Well made, tasty meat, fresh salad. * Tres Leches Dutch Baby Baked Pancake ($19) - 4.5 stars Excellent. And for a sweet dish, not overwhelmingly heavy.

This place was super busy so I definitely recommend a reservation but the food was amazing so definitely worth it! Our server was sweet and explained some of the menu items. In terms of food, I highly recommend the churros (they were so fluffy on the inside but crunchy on the outside) and the steak and eggs for brunch. It was such a great combo of flavors. Their coffee was really good and we also tried the mimosa flight. I will say I don't think the mimosa flight was completely worth it because the portions are pretty small. I would have rather paid for a mimosa pitcher.

I came here for a work lunch today. Prompt service and good brunch menu! We got truffle fries to share and I got a hot chocolate and gravlax bagel. Pleasantly surprised with both. Hot chocolate came with marshmallows and the bagel came with beautifully poached eggs! We were in a rush and really appreciated the attentive service.

The aroma of this place completely and captures all of your senses. The food is so incredibly delicious. Kudos to this chef. another big fave of mine is that they have a huge variety of mocktails and yummy unique hot drinks. The hostess and waitresses are super sweet and the place is all dressed up in Christmasy decorations with a tree right now...very cute. Honestly, there are so many things on this menu that look absolutely scrumptious and very unique. We went here for brunch and opted for the steak and eggs that had a Korean and Japanese inspiration with kimchi, edamame but best of all this rice "vessel" which was crispy perfection on the outside and soft on the inside. I also got the huevos rancheros with the chorizo patty... OMG, best one I've had outside of Mexico. The flavour bombs that this restaurant gives out is insanity. I'm surprised this place is not packed. The only small flaw that I can give is that the steak with the steak and eggs wasn't top-notch quality, but was still quite good. Also, the photos really don't do the dishes justice but the flavour is beyond there Get your ladies and go out for brunch to the cute and cosy catch 122

We arrived early yet the place was already full, vibrant energy throughout the cafe. The decor had lots of funky and antique items, which added to the relaxing theme. After waiting for about twenty minutes, it was our turn to sit down and eat good food! Our waitress was a friendly lady who welcomed us and brought water. After browsing the items on the menu, my friend chose The Tater Bowl and I picked Mushroom N' Ricotta Benedict. Finally, when our orders arrived, we were ready to eat! The portion was so generous and everything was cooked just right. We were so full at the end, so we didn't get a chance to try other items. Friendly service, delicious food and warm vibe- you can't go wrong here! A must-try if you are visiting Vancouver!

The bowl was very hearty hott mess in a good way. Very filling, tasty with all the good bits of bacon, ham, sausage gravy all throughout. I had to take half home as it was a bit much for me. Wifeys Benny was decent, the hollandaise was more mayoee than regular hollandaise and there was a sweet drizzle on the eggs I personally was not a fan but I can see it's appeal to others. Serving size are very decent. Overall this location is good and we will visit again. Lovely servers, good food and atmosphere!

I also got an Americano ($4.50), which tasted alright. Having a tangier fruit like strawberry provided a nice contrast to the sweetness of the French toast. However, I found the pistachio sauce to be quite weak and milky, so I'd suggest making it more pistachio-forward. This is especially noticeable since they use milk bread rather than a richer option like brioche, which left the overall dish lacking the flavour punch I was hoping for. That said, I found their food and drink options more unique compared to a standard brunch menu, so I'd be interested in returning with a bigger group to try more items. Their Thai chocolate and pistachio latte sound especially interesting!

There was care and attention as they made this bowl because I was able to have topping on every bite. There were cheese curds on the bottom which had pull even at the end of the meal! The Brown butter hollandaise paired well with the truffle. And the pork was crispy and plentiful. The fries are so good and perfect vehicle for all the quality toppings. We parked on a side street not too far away and noticed how friendly people were as we walked to the restaurant. Everyone said hello and smiled as we passed through. You certainly don't get that same experience in many other areas of the Lower Mainland. Because it was spur of the moment, we didn't have a reservation. We put our name down with the host and waited about 10-15 minutes for a table. The restaurant was a little noisy but not overwhelmingly so. We both had coffee, which was really good. I should've asked what kind of coffee they serve because it's not very often the regular drip coffee is this good. I was having a hard time deciding between the Blvd Blackstone Benny with maple bacon and the Smokey Brisket Benny. I ended up choosing the latter with a side of avocado and my friend had the Huevos Rancheros - he added a side of fried potatoes when he saw how good they looked on my plate. I took one bite of the brisket and I was instantly so glad I chose it. The meat was so tender and flavourful and I didn't even need my knife to cut it. It was phenomenal. My eggs were overcooked but immediately replaced with new eggs when I mentioned it to the server. The replacements were soft with perfectly runny yolks. She also brought extra hollandaise sauce. My friend's meal looked amazing, in fact I now have to come back just so I can have this dish. I wasn't able to finish my meal so I boxed it up to finish later. I will definitely come back here to try more of the menu items, especially when the coffee is this good. Makes me wish I lived closer!

The café has a welcoming, neighborhood feel and offers a selection of hearty breakfast dishes with both classic and fusion-style options. Tommy Hash Bowl Corned beef, roasted red peppers, and onions, topped with poached eggs and hollandaise. The dish is hearty and well-portioned. The corned beef adds a savory depth, while the roasted peppers bring a light sweetness. However, the overall flavor could benefit from a touch more seasoning to fully elevate the components--thankfully, having salt and pepper readily available on the table allows diners to adjust to their preference. The hollandaise, while smooth, leans slightly mild and could offer more richness to tie everything together. 7/10 Seoul Bowl Kimchee, scrambled eggs, spinach, mushrooms, scallions, sesame seeds, and gochujang sauce. This bowl stands out for its balance of flavor and texture. The kimchee provides a welcome acidity and gentle heat, complementing the umami of the sautéed vegetables. The gochujang brings a subtle depth rather than overpowering spice, allowing the ingredients to harmonize. A thoughtful and enjoyable fusion dish that feels both comforting and vibrant. 8/10 Espresso Milkshake A playful combination of espresso and ice cream, offering both sweetness and a pleasant espresso bitterness. Refreshing, creamy, and surprisingly well-balanced. 8/10 Ambiance The café is small and inviting, with a warm and friendly neighborhood feel. Clean tables, casual décor, and a steady morning buzz contribute to an approachable and comfortable dining experience. 7/10 Service Despite a busy breakfast rush, the staff remained attentive, welcoming, and efficient. There is a genuine friendliness in the service that enhances the overall visit. 8/10 Price Reasonably priced, especially considering the North Vancouver location and generous portions. Final Verdict Tommy's Café offers a comforting, approachable brunch experience with a few standout items and a relaxed local charm. While not every dish reaches exceptional heights, the balance of flavor, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere make it a place worth returning to. I would happily stop by again to explore more of the menu on my next visit to the area.
