I have always been a fan of Pizza Harbor. It reminds me of two Portland area pizza restaurants that have similarly styled pizzas...cornmeal crust and "to the edge" sauce. We visited in a quiet Sunday. Easy in. Easy ordering. Easy seating. My wife was pleased they had a Gluten free crust. We were very pleased with the pizzas. Plenty of toppings and great flavor. We had been eating here since 2010. We decided to drive down to Oregon and eat there again and something has changed regarding the ham on their pizzas. I love the vibes here. I swear I felt like I was a little girl in Pizza Hut circa 1995 when I would go trade in my book readings for a personal pan pizza. They even have the hen that drops her plastic egg for you. Is this just my childhood? (I grew up in Los Angeles). The pizza says "feeds X amt" size down one! We bought the 13 which feeds 2-3...actually feeds about 4. We also got cheesy bread w garlic. Yum. I enjoyed it all. Amazing pepperoni pizza! I got the 10" and was just eating alone and it was a large pizza for just one person. I could have finished it if I reeally wanted to feel overly full but ate 3/4 of it and took two slices to go. They have a PW (peewee) size and if I were to go again I would most likely get that size as a person eating alone. The pizza had the perfect amount of ronnies on it and was delicious! Would eat again for sure The service was quick and friendly. They take your order up at front and then call out your name when your pizza is ready. You go and retrieve it from a pizza hole next to the register and then get to dress it up with parm and red pepper flakes. The ambiance and inside was clean and quite for the most part. My large extended family visits Seaside every year, and we always go here for pizza. I tried to order my usual gluten-free veggie and was told that they didn't get any gluten-free crusts in their last order! I sat and drank iced tea while the rest of the family spent a lot of money on pizza! I checked the local Safeway, and they had at least three different options for gluten-free crusts! As a former restaurant owner, I always made sure that I had all the items that were on my menu available! Even if it meant that I had to pay a little more for the ingredients! Making sure the customer is happy is important! Also, we sat in the back room, and several tables were very dirty! We had to squeeze around the 2 tables that weren't filthy! I didn't like the pizza or the garlic cheesy bread with marinara. I'm not sure if the dough for the cheesy bread was different, but it was not for me. For a restaurant to last this long speaks volume of the food and the walls give you history of seaside in rare pictures hung all over. I've been going to Pizza Harbor for over 40 years now. They're still just as great as always! They used to make a wonderful crab & pineapple pizza that we loved, but unfortunately they had to stop offering it years ago. Probably for the best now with the high cost of everything. We will occasionally get a pineapple and cheese pizza and add fresh crab from Bell Buoy on HWY 101. On our 4th of July weekend trip we ordered up a half beef taco and half Sailor's Delight, add green olives. It was soooooo ding dang good! Nice thin crunchy crust, plenty of fresh tasty toppings and just the right amount of seasoning! The staff were super friendly and quick on their pies flying out of the oven! Their pizza is simply the best. The best. We just got back from 4 days in Cannon Beach and we went here for pizza twice. The crust can make or break a pizza and they somehow manage to make theirs the perfect amount of crispy, and it stays crispy! No soggy pizza here! The sauce is just delicious. No other way to describe it. They're also generous with the cheese and all other toppings you order. They're reasonably priced, made quickly, and have a nice variety of toppings. They also have salads, though we come for the pizza so we've never tried them. They have a soda station as well as cans of beer, cider, etc. There's a cute little courtyard in the back where you can eat on a nice day. Otherwise, there are a fair number of wood booths inside. I also love that they leave a huge roll of foil on the counter for you to wrap up any leftovers. Everyone who works there seems friendly and they provide great service. It's sooooo good! My hubby and I stopped in as we were traveling through Seaside and it was absolutely perfect! I got their special which was the PBL (ham, feta, and white sauce) and my hubby got the Bayou. They were both excellent and packed with flavor. Crust: it is really somewhere in between a medium and thin crust pizza, crispy on the bottom, and a light cornmeal. Toppings: the house made red sauce had great flavor, not acidy and not overpowering, but you can taste it on there, so in my opinion, great. I really could not taste the white sauce paired with ham and feta, but the pizza wasn't dry, so it was also perfect. Now for the real toppings, I cannot believe how much toppings they use!! I want to start off by saying we are going to miss this pizza! We have tried other pizza spots, however, this one was our favorite. Good pizza and friendly staff...well until yesterday. We have been coming here the last 7 1/2 years pretty much every time we come to the coast. Normally I wouldn't let a couple of bad staff who might have been having a bad day deter me from good pizza but this time it was too much. My son who is autistic has a routine when he goes to Seaside; ride the tilt a whirl, feed the sea lions, then go to the arcade. Yesterday was just like any day, however, he was hungry for Fultano's as we were at the arcade. Myself, husband, and father in law wanted Pizza Harbor as we always do so we ordered my son the personal sized pizza from Fultano's and he ate a majority of it there. My husband and father in law went to Pizza Harbor to order our pizza. My son couldn't finish so he asked to take his left overs home, this consisted of 2 small slices. We walked over to Pizza Harbor to meet my husband and have our dinner. When we got there the door we entered was on N Edgewood St and the door was propped open (this is important to note). We walked in and my son put his closed pizza box with his left overs on the table and started watching videos on his phone. My husband opened the box to see how he did with eating. He did this because we have to monitor how much he is eating as the medication he is on affects his appetite so we make sure he is eating enough. I walked up to the counter to order a soda. I see out of the corner of my eye my husband close the box and was about to move it to the end of the table out of our way when someone from the back fly out and very angrily say you can't have that in here especially from another pizza place. My husband tried to explain he wasn't eating it and we just literally ordered $50 worth of food but the guy wasn't hearing it and marched back into the back to make our pizza. We were all shocked as the aggression he had was totally insane. My son was pretty spooked by this because this guy was so angry and asked if he could go wait in the car as he didn't feel comfortable there anymore. We sat at the table in shock trying to figure out what was going on. Our pizza was done so I ordered some ranch. The girl at the counter was super nice but I noticed the guy who was making the pizza and another guy near the oven talking and both looked super angry. I knew they were talking about us because they both glared at me. My husband went up to order a beer and the super aggressive guy says to my husband as he was waiting for his beer, you got something to say. So my husband tried to explain we weren't eating the pizza he was just going to see how well my son did eating but he kept cutting my husband off saying how he could have been more harsh than what he was. Im thinking um sir if you were any more harsh than you were you would have been physically assaulting us. My husband was not arguing with any rules about not bringing outside food inside and the guy was saying how there is a sign on the door..ok the door that was propped open that we walked into? Who goes and reads all the stickers on the door when the door is already open!!!!! Now I don't feel like we should give some random dude my sons medical background and I don't think he would care or understand anyways but he just was so angry like he had a bad day or week or month...we aren't sure but from the size of the knot on the side of his cheek we were assuming he was looking for a fight. The other guy who had light brown hair and blue eyes was now standing there just glaring and my husband and cracking his knuckles. I walked up to try to difuse the situation and told both of the guys what we don't understand is you came out aggressive when you could have simply come out and say you can't bring that in here we have a rule. Instead you came angry and honestly you spooked my son and caught me off guard too. His response to that was I didn't mean to spook your son and I GUESS I could have done that differently! I guess? So my husband asked the other employee standing there cracking his knuckles about the situation because we really like their pizza but this was kinda crazy and his response was then go to Dominoes? I just told my husband lets just eat and we wont come back here again. My son did not want to stay inside anymore as the guy with the blue eyes kept glaring at us so we went outside to finish our food. My husband faced the door from the table we were at because he felt uncomfortable with his back to the door due to the behavior of these 2. The guy with the blue eyes was super riled up for some reason pacing and staring at us from the counter. I hope the owners see this as there are no name tags so I can't give names. Who ever these 2 are if they keep this up the owners I'm sure will have a lawsuit on their hands at some point. read more

Delicious pizza! Cold beer served in frosty glasses. One downside - this place needs a good deep cleaning. We were here at closing and the gal wiped off the tables and put the stools up so they could clean the floor. Nearly every stool had cob webs on the bottom. The ships that decorate the window frames also have cob webs, and the window sills need some attention. However, we came for great pizza and that's what we got! read more

I bit into the pizza and the crust was crispy, not soggy (awesome!) but... it also had no flavor. Like none. Sauce didn't have much going for it either. We were able to find a place to sit and order right away at 7-ish on a Friday night so that was a plus. Would not go back due to pizza not being all that great.
