Highly recommend the Goodfellow sandwich. It's as good an old school NY deli style sandwich as you will find in the Jackson area. Service is prompt and courteous. Atmosphere is nothing special but solid over all. Definitely recommend.

the live music was the highlight of dinner tonight. we always enjoy local artists. tonight we walked away a bit disappointed. food was not cooked to order so we ended up dining separately( he was finished eating when mine arrived) i know angelo's is typically better so i will certainly return had to be an off night but had this been my first visit it would not have left me wanting more. our waitress was average and met all request when asked.

First visit was great. Second and third were just ok. Service was terrible. Teenage girl just didn't know her job. Shrimp salad was lame and the seafood pasta was so salty that it was inedible. The sandwich was good.

I just got off a flight from California and I was starving. My cousin suggested this place and mentioned the Chicken Alfredo is really good. So that's what I ordered with extra sauce on the side. Their Chicken Alfredo they use Angel Hair Pasta and added mushrooms and it was delicious. I like the Angel Hair Pasta instead of Fettuccine Noodles. I'll try the lasagna the next time in the area. That's what my cousin had he devoured it before I could even get a taste LOL

Came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. It's a mix of blue collars and professionals. The food is great as well as the atmosphere. I loved the shrimp scampi. If it only had real Parmesan cheese as opposed to Kraft Parmesan then it would have been a home run. The Fried chicken was over cooked but the green beans were delicious. I'll be back to try some more menu items.

This place has been consistent with the quality of food. I can be a little pricey but my family and I always enjoy the food here.

First time here and it was pretty good. I met my husband there as a mid-week lunch date. There was…read morea pretty decent amount of people there but we were almost just overwhelmed? Right when you walk in, I knew it was going to be overstimulating. It is LOUD. And not just volume wise. Everything is loud. The walls are covered in football wallpaper, then signed pictures on top of that. Then tv's. Then speakers. Don't get me wrong, some people love that vibe. I just wasn't prepared for that walking into a BBQ place. Secondly, the menu is freaking massive. You stand up front to order, which reminds me of popeyes or arbys, etc. We stood there gaping for a good five minutes just trying to read ALL of the menu. I was thrown off from it because I would rather there be 14 items on the menu and you make sure those 14 items are fresh, hot, cooked perfectly every single time for consistency, rather than there be 44 items and it's just a luck of the draw whether you're going to have a hot or cold meal. I ordered a loaded potato, because yeah, overstimulated. So much at once and my mind just went *nope* so I got a loaded baked potato and their side of the day which was sweet potato casserole. Husband ordered two chili cheese coneys and fries. I told ya, it's alot at once. Both meals were hot, thankfully. Do I think it was $42 worth of lunch? not in the slightest. BUT I wanted (and will try again) to give it a shot. I just feel like its average. There are definitely room for improvements. Overall, worth a shot.

When I got there, walked right in and got my food which was ready. And the employees seemed nice enough. Food was great. Taste great. Meat fell off the bones. Fries were so hot and there was quite a bit of food for the price I was shocked. They were cleaning up to close but it was a good 1st experience. I'll try them again. Thanks for the great food that redeemed my night after having terrible food just 30 minutes earlier. I honestly thought it was pretty dang good. So, solid 4 for only one visit so far!

These bite-sized delights were a delightful twist on a classic Southern side dish. Tender and flavorful turnip greens were combined with creamy cheese and smoky applewood bacon bits, then rolled in seasoned flour and deep-fried to perfection. They were served with a sweet and tangy honey remoulade sauce. To my surprise, the turnip bites were incredibly delicious! I'm usually a fan of greens, but I've never had them prepared in this way before. I highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys unique and flavorful dishes. For my main course, I ordered the GB Fried Chicken Sandwich with a side of seasoned fries. The sandwich was quite large, but it was packed with flavor and juicy chicken. I'd definitely order it again when I'm feeling a bit hungrier. Overall, I had a great experience at this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal. However, I do have a suggestion: the portions are quite large, so it might be better to share them with a group of people.

I wanted to go Tuesday but coworkers didn't want to go out. Tried to go Wednesday but they were closed for dinner. My flight was leaving later in the day on Thursday and I had to try to go. Online it said they were open at 10 am. I checked out of the hotel and headed to the restaurant. There were already a lot of people waiting for them to open. To my surprise they opened at 10:30. When the doors opened people were "fighting" to get inside. This is a buffet setting. You pay before eating. To go plates are available for purchase. There is an upstairs eating area. I think there were 3 hot stations, a cold station, and a desert station and an ice cream machine. All the food looked so good. I had to get a little taste of everything. The fried chicken and fried chicken livers were Hands down my favorite things. I like greens that are tangy with a little spicy - these were not that. The cornbread was hard couldn't eat it. Everything else was ok. Nothing that I had that "gotta go back for more" feeling (except the chicken). There were so many offerings, and they have Pepsi products. They have a drink station but The servers bring you drinks. I definitely would go back again if I'm in the area.
