    Roasted mushrooms 10/10

Feel like I needed to update my review since I complemented the bartenders in my last post, the bartender is new and not great and that's being nice actually doesn't seem like this is the job for him. We love sitting at the bar, we love the back and forth and if that's what you like then unfortunately this is no longer the place for that. Food is still amazing but we will skip sitting at the bar and do the reservations for a table instead. After being here a while another bartender came in and was amazing! Avoid the one with glasses

Hamachi crudo close your eyes and enjoy!

Fantastic creations with superb attentive knowledgeable staff. Charles took care of us and we left wanting nothing more. Stand out was the hamachi crudo. Wow! MUST ORDER! Burrata was good. The quail was seasoned wonderfully. Bread was cloud soft and flavorful. The oricchetta was just ok to me. That was only miss. The scallops were enormous and buttery. The desserts were heaven. Fantastic end to my birthday dinner. Chocolate torte was not overly rich and the unique tiramisu was hard to stop eating. All of the drinks well curated by Charles. Quality establishment with the best ingredients they can find locally. Well done will be back.

    Scallops in brown butter mmmmmm!

Elevated. This meal was pleasantly a special experience. Excellent service by Charles, and all hot items came to the table piping hot. The Caesar salad was enough for two, and topped with what I think were panko crumbs, in lieu of croutons--a perfect touch. The meatballs were delicious and not spicy. The scallops were perfect, if pricy, but worth it. Companion had Pepparadelle Bolognese which was delicious. Pasta portion was "polite" -you won't need a go-box. The upside of that, is you'll have room for dessert. Nilla Wafer Tiramisu was delightfully light, not 'too sweet', and not overwhelmingly "coffee flavored" as tiramisu often can be. We savored and enjoyed every bite. The decor is warm, cozy, mix of old and new. We will definitely be returning. If you are in Jackson, Pulito's should be at the top of your list!

always enjoy this environment! we sat in the bar, our favorite! We both enjoyed a cocktail but I didn't enjoy the service as much as Bunny did. when i made a statement rather than posing a question as i said i would but i was corrected by the waiter. not a big deal, i promise ! then i was corrected about a menu item. really, i was discussing a dish with bunny. he overheard and made comment, not necessary! he was, by the way correct. as far as attentiveness he was. just a difference in personality. great food, love the atmosphere, service... you be the judge! ( side note, the other half of my party rated dinner a five)

Caesar Salad - server announced it as "The best in Jackson". Found it needed a bit more dressing.

Dropped in, no reservation on a Saturday night, about 7:00 pm. Slide right in to a nice table which I thought would be trouble. It should be trouble, this place is good. Inside had a nice, light, ocean/spanish kind of vibe, maybe? It's well done with lots of attention to detail. Nice chandeliers and some cool old artifacts throughout. We were in a bit of a hurry, so we rushed and ordered everything all at once and just went at it. Our server was really nice, he had a chill vibe and followed our pace. You can tell he is used to providing nice slower well paced service. We had Meatballs, Caesar Salad, Beef Short Rib, and some Crispy Potatoes. Food arrived and as always, we had way too much. The salad was on point, but was just a little dry. It needed just a bit more dressing. We ate that junt though, still darn tasty. Meatballs were scrumptious, my wife liked them more than me. She really liked the gravy and made several comments about it as we ate, and even the next day. Crispy Fried Potatoes is a misleading name. I liked them, but they are hardly "crispy fried". I found very few crispy parts at all. I thought they were good, not great. Should be named "Five Percent Food Cost" at $10, but what'evs. Short Ribs were fantastic! Just might be the best I've had. Soft and perfectly braised. Full of wonderful beef flavor and just an absolutely beautiful reduction! This is one of the few pieces of meat worth paying $50 in my opinion. You would be hard pressed to find any steakhouse putting out anything better in any form including prime steaks. I could go on and on. Do not sleep on this one!! Absolutely coming back asap!!! Everything from the service to the food was outstanding! I started with the tuna crudo which was so fresh and clean. It was extremely enjoyable. I also had the linguine which was YUM!!!! I'm looking forward to my next visit.

We love this place. We can't say enough good things about it. It's one of our favorites to frequent. The menu changes so it's hard to tell you what to get but I will try. The roasted chicken. So tender and moist. Seasoned perfectly. I recommend pairing that with the creamy polenta and their perfectly cooked and seasoned brussels sprouts. The short rib, my mouth is watering. The pizza has the most perfect crust and just the right amount of sauce and toppings. You can never go wrong with any pasta dish. Caesar salad as well as the mixed green salad that has the almonds with a vinaigrette are both so scrumptious. The arancini are wonderful. The meatballs are so good! All of the cocktails are fantastic. I will say that service is huge to me. I want to feel connected with the server but not have them hover. We have only gotten that type of a server a handful of times. We seem to get older guys who give off vibes that they are too busy and we need to make it snappy. We have observed other servers around us offering great service, so we just managed to get the wrong one. They aren't terrible servers but they don't compliment the experience. You have to try Pulito. Go for family style dining. It's the best way to enjoy the experience and get a touch of Italy in Jackson. Speaking of being in Jackson, we have never felt unsafe when we eat at Pulito. That pic is when I dined solo when Mike was out of town. The absolute best scallops ever. Cooked perfectly. The sauce was decadent.

Old Bay Campanelle (Lobster pasta) and butter beans

My waiter was great. The Caesar salad was yummmy. The waiter told me it would be big enough for two, but I must be greedy because there is no way I would share it. I had the red kuri soup, which was good, but it was cold in the restaurant so it cooled off too quickly. I also had the lobster pasta/ old bay campanelle. It had juicy meat and a flavorful tomato base. I would definitely order it again. The location is nice as well. The sign could be a bit more eye-catching. I almost couldn't find it because it's a small appendage compared to the building next door. I hope to go back soon.

This is one of my favorite restaurants to visit in the Jackson area. The cocktails (I had the Hugo 75) were great. We split appetizers are big enough to split and were delicious. Also, have to have dessert. This is a must visit, beautiful restaurant, and all of the employees are so great. Five stars!

He had Crabmeat Linguini and mine was the special can't remember the name but is a butter /truffle pasta

The service was great! Our waiter was very friendly! The ambiance in that first room even though is close to kitchen was romantic . Lighted perfect!! The food was amazing ! A friend recommended I tried the special pasta and it didn't disappoint (not on menu) . We also had the meatball appetizer and it was great!!

We have eaten here several times - each time better than the other. The sunflower oven boule, house made focaccia, garlic confit, are a great complement before during and after the meal. If you like burrata they do a fine version. Definitely keto friendly. They recently added agnello braised lamb, feta, salted red onion, garlic confit, to their menu. An excellent taste and mixture of ingredients. If you like lamb and feta this will tease your taste buds. Their lamb shank is awesome and full of flavor. The pappardelle had a very nice taste the cheeses were well blended. The lasagna, which is on the menu until today, was totally outstanding and should not even be I. The lash a category the flavors and tastes were exceptional. As for deserts, prior to this meal I wasn't extremely impressed with them. That has changed, the Satsuma Olive Oil Cake and Affogato were Devine. Definitely will be eaten again. Cocktails were very good.

    Take out Caesar salad.

Usually love this place, but recently got takeout. Ordered their Caesar salad and it was $14. Since the dine in salad is $14 and quite large I expected to get a similar sized salad. Nope. It was the size of a side salad from a fast food place. Ridiculously overpriced.

    Pasta with truffles.

Cool area with great food. Pasta with truffles and scallops with brown butter were excellent.

When we arrived, we waited longer than expected to be seated, regardless of there being several open tables. There was no communication from the staff about the delay, which left us feeling confused and awkwardly waiting. Once we were seated, the atmosphere was cozy and we were looking forward to the evening! After our server was assigned, her attitude was okay, but she walked away quickly after taking our order, which made it difficult to ask questions or make additional requests. The service overall felt slow. When our food arrived, it was lukewarm to cold. We ordered the same pasta we usually get at the Ridgeland location, but it was not the same. The flavor was lacking, and it did not taste freshly prepared. The only dish we enjoyed was the Caesar Salad.... Also, all 5 of us ordered an espresso martini and I ordered mine with Tito's and mine was made differently than the others which was strange. I make espresso martinis at home while maintaining the creaminess and I'm not sure what this bartender was doing. We did askfor our martinis to be creamy. Overall, this experience was disappointing compared to the consistently great food and service we've had at the Ridgeland location.

My boyfriend just asked me if I could eat Italian as a vegan, but I told him no, but thankfully I found this elegant place. First and foremost, it's located on the top floor next to Char. There's NO dress code, but I didn't see anyone in casual wear either. Primarily saw dates and a few families, but no loud and rowdy children running around screaming. Thank goodness! If you are vegan, you need to specify that with your server initially because the bread that they serve to the table isn't vegan. I love how there's multiple veg options. We ordered the portobella mushroom appetizer and it was delicious! I got mine with vegan bread. The hummus is tasty and smooth. The mushroom had the juiciness of a beef steak. The vegano was by far the best veg pizza I've ever tasted. It was so flavorful and had many textures. Lightly dusted with cashew parm and drizzled with a balsamic vinegarette glaze. Sweet and savory. My boyfriend had the linguine with the crawfish tails; he said that you need to put your tongue on that shite. I was surprised when our waitress said that there was ONE veg dessert. Usually, restaurants have ZERO options for my sweet tooth. The chocolate cake is rich with hints of fruit, ganache, raspberry coli, and a coconut whip. It was incredibly moist, but not dense. Very decadent! They even have gluten-free options as well. Very nice experience. I enjoyed every bit of it.

He insisted that he move our tables to be one big table. I told him it was okay because I didnt want to bother him, but he insisted, saying he wanted me and my little nephew to be comfortable. He handed us the menus, and we decided to order three different pizzas and the Pretzel Bites for the appetizer. The first pizza was the Three Little Pigs, a delicious combination of Italian sausage, pepperoni, applewood bacon, fresh basil, marinara, and mozzarella. This one was by far my favorite. The bacon and sausage had a spicy flavor, and the mozzarella was thick and gooey. One bite and the cheese would stretch for days. The other two, the Pepperoni and Chicken Alfredo, were right up there, too. I like that the Chicken Alfredo tasted more like a pizza than not. It had all the combinations of a Chicken Alfredo pasta dish, but with the spices and marinara sauces, it was a sweet combination of both, but it was more of a pizza flavor, which I just loved. I can't leave off the Pretzel Bites; I liked that the cheese and mustard were mixed, bringing on a very favorable dip. Now I must tell you this: the pizzas are supposed to be a personal pan--ten inches with six slices. The hostess warned me these pizzas aren't your regular-sized personal pan. He was right. The pizzas are huge, the slices even bigger. It's a deep-dish pizza with layers of meat, cheese, sauces, and veggies. So you can order three like I did, or just order one and keep coming back, trying different pizzas, which is a great idea considering the place is so inviting. One more thing: You can eat inside or outside on the patio or the lawn with the large TV screen. It's a very relaxed place, and they have a band on certain nights. I can tell you for sure that the hostess, the food, and the ambiance make this place what it is, very inviting.
