I was here twice several years ago for takeout, but never got around to reviewing them before. As 'they' say, the third time is the charm as I'm finally reviewing them now. Each time their food has been very good - whether it was the garlic knots (which I've gotten each time), their calzones, and their cheesesteaks. In fact, I really have to try their actual pizza one of these days. This recent time aside from the garlic knots, I had another one of their cheesesteaks. They're quite on point with their cheesesteaks and if you don't want to go to nearby Pennsylvania for cheesesteaks, this place is a great option for them. Filling and just great all around. As mentioned, I've had their garlic knots three times and all three times have been very good. If I had a complaint, it's their lack of variety in their fridge - the only one I saw had mostly Pepsi 2 liters and just a few other options. While I've mainly had take out, there are plenty of tables inside and everything looks clean. Each time I've been here, everyone has been friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of parking as this place shares the space with several other businesses, including a ShopRite. Great for locals and for those (like me) who pass through the area at times. It's always good to know that they're here. Easily recommended. read more

The "boys" had a half sausage pie. I only took a bite since I don't eat carbs at night. A bit burnt and a bit greasy for me especially after having Lorenzo's mere hours ago! My Caesar with added avocado was absolutely delicious and no skimping on the avocado like some places. read more

I honestly swung in here because the sando shop a few stores down was closed, mid-day on a Friday and I was starving. Figured grabbing 2 slices of pizza would help a girl out. Not busy and a couple of pizza slice options on the counter, I went with a white slice and what I thought was a veggie slice. It had bacon on it. I despise bacon on pizza. And the white sauce was weird and the spinach... didn't taste fresh and that freaked me out. He had put them in the oven to warm up but got home and they were just ugh. I should have stopped by my regular pizza spot but things happen when you're hungry. This was also over $7 bucks which also seemed high but oh well. read more

I ordered a cheeseburger to go. I asked for lettuce, tomato and mayo. All items where present, then why did the burger have not taste. The meat was overcooked and there was so much lettuce it was like "let us hide the burger". Will not be trying that again. read more

Angelos Pizza Union Mill Review! This is the 12", going by large, large margaritas pizza is $18.50, which is $2.31 per slice. This is the 12" which is $14.80, which is $1.85 which is pretty pricey for the amount since this is a tiny pizza. However, the crust was nearly perfect, had a perfect balance of crunchy and chewy dough. The cheese needed a lot of work however. Everything overall was good. Well I came here and I paid an outrageous price for a cheesesteak. I was very hungry and I just worked a very long day on my feet. The location was convenient and on my way home. Imagine my surprise when I sit down at home to open up my cheesesteak and it is not what I ordered. It's not even cheese or steak. It's some sort of a chicken sandwich on a long roll. I was disgusted to say the least. I really wanted a cheesesteak, and I really overpaid for the sandwich. So I call the shop and explain that I just arrived home with my takeout order and it was incorrect. They put a manager on the phone. She offered to give me 20% off of my next purchase. That's it. I told them it was too far for me to drive Back for a replacement sandwich. And to only give me 20% off? How about refund my money for the sandwich. I offered to take a picture and send it to them and they said no their policy is 20% off. So if they if your order up, and you don't live up the street from them, your s@$& out of luck. I had Angelo's cheese sauce delivered with white and green mold spots, I licked the cap clean before looking and hope to not be food poisoned. The worst part being I called and the manager said he will check to see if there was mold in the fridge? After leaving me on hold he yelled to the hostess "There is no mold in the cheese." As I explained there is mold that I am looking at, and if he had a cell phone I could send a picture to, or if he could send a driver to exchange the cheese for me. I was told that I do not have mold in my cheese, until I demanded the managers name. He said I could drive down and show him the mold for new cheese sauce. I was unable to do so at the time and also thought the manager was being very disrespectful during this whole ordeal. I asked for their name so I could speak to their supervisor, assuming I was speaking to an assistant manager. This person told me they were the owner. I asked them "what is your name, manager, working Tuesday at 10pm?!" And he would not give me his name, he jokingly said "They call me Jose." The real owner should step up because this is disgusting. They claim to be the "best pizza in South Jersey". Well I haven't eaten at all of the pizzerias in South Jersey so I can't testify to that. What I can say is they make an awesome pizza!! Fresh ingredients, great selections of standard and specialty, and great service. ' I love their crispy slices. If you order by the slice, you'll get one HUGE slice of pizza. Pizza is my weakness. I can practically eat an entire pie alone. I ordered two slices of mushroom pizza and struggled to finish the second slice. I'll need to try some of their specialty pies next time. read more

I had to come to Yelp to even look at the menu. Their website no longer has it available. They make you use the slice app which sucks as well. It charges you to even place an order so better call to order. The slice app makes you have to search up the place (never links). Their prices seem very high. I understand inflation but these prices seem unreasonable This is a fast food place. I don't know I can't justify ordering here for the family anymore. read more

Being underemployed as I am, we used an Entertainment Coupon for last night's dinner here. We both ordered an entree, with plenty leftover to take home for another meal. My dining partner also ordered a slice of cheese pizza as an appetizer to share (so much food, felt like we were paid food critics). Meals come with soup, or salad, and pasta. You choose two of the three (I guess you can skip the pasta and have soup and salad), or pay 2.50 extra for all three if you'd prefer. I have ordered pizza from Angelo's a couple of times now. I think it's really great pizza. Slightly greasy, perfect ratio of sauce and cheese. It's my new go-to pizza place. We also got a buffalo chicken cheese steak and that was good too. A young guy answered the phone and I think he needs a bit of practice but that doesn't matter for this yelp review. Long story short: yummy pizza. Update: I have also now tried the jumbo wings, cheese steak, buffalo chicken cheese steak, and the chicken and pasta soup. Everything is great, especially the wings and the soup. The only one that needs work is the cheesesteak. This is my go to pizza place when I'm in the area which is pretty often. Their pizza slices are HUGE! Their salads are HUGE! Their pizza pies are normal size but if you're just looking for a quick slice you're gonna be blown away at how big the slice is. I've had their mozzarella sticks here and well which are good. I talked to the young lady taking calls, twice, and she didn't even have the driver's phone number.
