Worst pizza I've ever had. Ordered a large pizza with half mushroom. I asked to have the pizza extra well done and when i got it home it looked barely cooked. I couldn't even pick up the slice because it just glopped over and the cheese and mushrooms just slid off. When i pay $24 for a pizza i don't think it's too much to ask for a well done pie. What's so hard about that? This is the second time ordering from this place, there won't be a third. Do better. read more

Terrible service owner constantly doesn't want to deliver at 6pm on the weekday when I contact him only when I have a friend call after to ask for delivery then there available. Very disappointed with Johnny Longhots. We've been going there for years but was not the least bit impressed today. One other patron was in the restaurant while we were there. While searching for a clean table, we noticed all the employees were on their phones. 3 of the fountain soda flavors were not working. We watched an employee stick his face in a dessert package and eat it without utensils. We had to listen to that same employee use foul language during the 20 minutes we were there. Our visit was not pleasant and the owners should be ashamed of themselves for this type of behavior and quality of service. read more

One of my go-tos in the area for a good cheesesteak. I tried visiting in person this time and had a nice experience! Order at the counter and grab yourself a seat. I prefer getting the cheesesteak wraps. Seating inside is ample and comfortable. Always had good service with a friendly smile. The chicken was well-cooked and chopped, as you'd expect from a typical cheesesteak, though it could've used a bit more cheese. I tried one of their new paninis, the Ricky's Special, and it was absolutely worth it. The seasoned pressed bread, paired with ham, mozzarella, and chipotle aioli, was delicious. Tried this place for first time. Ordered an Italian hoagie and a turkey hoagie. The price was reasonable, the quality of the meats and cheeses were as good as or better than any other hoagie house. The ONLY draw back were the rolls. They were doughy instead of crispy. Had the rolls been like some others, I would gladly give them 5 star rating. Disappointed. Pizza arrived cold. To be fair, we ordered through slice. The pizza was very rubbery/chewy and seemed underdone. To the point that I had to cook the pizza more in my oven. The wings didn't come with the sauce on them, which is okay but the chicken was hard, almost petrified. My 11 year old said it wasn't good too. Was literally the worst cheesesteak I had ever eaten. The bread was stale on the ends and soggy in the middle and on top, I'll admit it was takeout so it sat for 15 mins but still. I used to frequent this place for lunch until they started adding a surcharge for credit card payments. By law it's supposed to be posted on the menu, but they only have a small sign on the side counter that's easily missed. Alright, first off let me preface this by saying that I ordered from the Voorhees location but for some reason they're not on yelp so I picked the next closest location. So maybe take this recipe with a grain of salt. Results may vary. Let's start with the former. Strengths. Their cheesesteaks were some of the best I've had. I swear every other pizza place uses the same template when making a cheesesteak. Dry meat, mid roll and base their cheese amount like it's coming out of their paycheck. Not Johnny Longhots. Embedded in a delicious seeded roll laid a ton of well-seasoned, juicy meat and plenty of cheese. Every bite was an experience. I'll put it up against any south Philly cheesesteak. It's not fair to call it a weakness because it's really not. But, the pizza was...pizza. It wasn't mind blowing but it was good. I feel like this was any pizza from anywhere. Although whoever cut it must be half blind because the sizes were all over the place. I get there's some variation but c'mon. Wings were good. Got the hot and honey sriracha. Plenty of meat and sauce. Can't really complain. Thank god they don't bread them like some savage places. read more

I have been wanting to try Johnny Longshots for quite awhile and I finally found the time to stop in and chow down on a cheesesteak. I will definitely be back to try another round of cheesesteaks as I believe the one I received was a bit off. The meat and roll were great from what I could taste. I say this because the cheesesteak was saturated with cheese wiz. I love wiz, but I honestly could barely taste anything else on the sandwich because of the amount of wiz on the sandwich. We also ordered the cheddar bombs with jalapeño- yum!! They were perfectly crispy and savory. Both steaks were delicious - I had more bites of the whiz with long hots because it seemed more moist and flavorful, but it could also be that I enjoy eating what other people order so idk. This is a really great pizzeria with a bold atmosphere and a central location. I often stop here on my way back from Philly to Toms River. The prices are very reasonable, and they have different specials at different times. The pizza is really daring, but I think it's delicious. We checked out the new restaurant in Marlton last night and were very pleased! The owner - Joe - was very friendly and clearly cares about his business. The food was delicious! Even my very picky New Jersey born and bred dad commented on how good the pizza was :D The environment is casual, but fun, and has a lot more seating than most "Pizza by the slice" type sit downs in South Jersey. Since moving to the area back in May we had discovered this place and made it our go-to for Steaks, Cutlets, Hoagies and pizzas! After trying out the chicken parm (with vodka sauce - Amazing) last week, we decided to use them for our catering order for a big party Sunday and we are sooo happy we did!! We ordered meatballs and Penne vodka trays and could not have been any more impressed with the food! The trays were huge and packed to the brim and we received so many compliments on how amazing the food was, especially the meatballs!!
