You don't feel like he's trying to rip you off as many of the tree trimmers I had come over gave outrageous numbers.

With the delays of the city over the past year, the city would not accept the "aged" report and asked for a new one. When we called James and asked him to revisit the site and update the report, he claimed that it would cost about the same as the original report. Alt nothing has changed at the property, while waiting for permits from the city, James said it would take even longer to issue a report as he would have to explain any changes from the first report (although the city refused the original report and NOTHING HAS CHANGED ON THE PROPERTY) We decided to reach out to other companies for a competitive price and obtained a price for a totally new report nearly 65% of-this company's price. Now remember, there is no issue of quality of the report as both companies just issue a report on the trees on s and there is no "good" or "bad" repor and hardly any justification for the inflated price and same price for updating the report. Anyway, the conversation with James was far from "giving a dam" about a customer; we paid him over $3k for the report and will now have to pay a little over $2k for a brand new one. Either way, I would never use their services again and suggest that you do the same.

They were overpriced compared to other landscape estimates I received, but we chose their…read morelandscaping services because they offered a year of interest free credit option. We hired them for a full backyard Reno with full wall of ficus trees, full DG backyard with gravel edges, and a wood fence. Everything was going smoothly with scheduling and communication. When the actual work got started, I noticed the DG was not high-quality. It contained a lot of large rocks. Also, they were not digging out enough dirt before laying the DG. I had to bring that up to the foreman and they did dig up some more dirt before laying the DG. When the work was done, a foreman did a quick walk-through with me and I thought everything looked good. We were told not to walk on the wet DG for a day or two. So two days later when I did a better inspection, I started to notice a lot of shotty work. Specifically with the bender board dividing the gravel and I noticed that they used really small nails for the wooden fence. They did come back a month later to fix the DG because there were areas that were "bouncy", as if not enough DG was laid down. They had to dig up big rocks that were preventing the DG from compacting and they laid more DG on some areas. They also tried to fix some bender board problems, but they did a really horrible job. Three months later, some wood planks on our wood fence start curving and popping up. I called the company because our DG and our fence are under a year warranty. Jake asked me to email him with photos and he said he would call back to schedule a day for repair. Since then I have not heard back from them; they have completely ghosted me. I waited a month then I started calling and no one will pick up the phone. I've left messages and I sent text messages to project manager, Amanda, who was great at communication at first, but now has completely ghosted me as well. Meanwhile, we're still paying monthly for this backyard that is falling apart way too quickly. I'm going to just hire someone to fix the fence before it damages further. I would not recommend them again. Completely overpriced for what you get.

Our request was also a bit of an atypical one- we asked him to set up our manual pool valve on our automated sprinkler system so we could keep the pool level while we're away. He did a great job of creatively addressing this and now we have an amazing system that doesn't require our constant monitoring to make sure it doesn't drop too low. Thank you so much Steve! Angel and his crew are terrific. Highly recommend. Angel showed up to the house even though I could not meet him and took an assessment of the project. He was able to come out early the next morning and completed the job in half the time others had quoted. He replaced the sprinkler pipes and valves and leveled the backyard. My property needed complete yard care. The young men removed ivy, trimmed a neighbors bush the grows over the fence and takes over my side. They mowed the yard-removed all weeds. They hauled away anything that didn't fit in the trash can. They did an excellent job. The work was outstanding. They communicated if there were any concerns about scope of work. We hired Bryce and his team to help on many problem areas in our yard - including an area where a beehive lives with a cycle of very territorial bees. Pasadena Garden Care worked with us and wore bee suits to attend to our needs in this special garden. It's not just the bees. We also have a HUGE salcata tortoise that devours everything in its path. We have a fenced in garden where the bees are and Gamera tried to break in and devour my tomato plants, strawberries and most likely knock over a hive for some honey. I wanted it removed because it was crushing my shrubs and succulent collection. I messaged them last Saturday not expecting to hear anything for quite a while as so many other people needed trees removed also. To my surprise, I received a message within an hour and was told that I could get an estimate later the same day! Of course i jumped at the opportunity. They came and the price was absolutely reasonable so I agreed. Little did i know they would say they could cut it up, remove and dispose of it that very same day. I was so happy that I nearly cried. If you appreciate a reasonably priced family owned business that does quality work give them a call. You will not be disappointed. Even though some of their family members homes have burned down they were still professional and cleaned up beyond my expectations. Please, hire a local business who has been through so much too as did many, many others.
