Finally got to try this laundromat it has its pros and cons…read more (Customer Service) = horrible! the lady made me feel uncomfortable, when I was loading up washers and going back to my car to get soap I caught her looking in the washing machine at my clothes ( while the door was still open ) I even asked her what is she doing she looked at me like ( oopps just got caught and walked off fast ) #weird The biggest washing machine costed $7.00 ( and the inside of it smelled like mold ) the machine was very very old which I found pretty odd as they have new washing machines in different sizes so I don't know why they didn't upgrade everything. The next size down was $6.50 it was a newer machine.. So washing was on the cheaper side. The older machine definitely doesn't wash good. The dryers is what they get you on. I had one on the hot setting and it didn't get hot. 1 quarter get you three minutes 2 quarters gets you 5 min ( makes no sense it should be 6 min ) normally I would only spend $1.50 max drying but here I had to spend around $3.00 I hope this place fixes things because it's real convenient as I live nearby

The customer service there is 100%. Hard to find these days. I am so glad that it is so close to me and working with her on what I wanted it to look like and how much to take in was a very easy process. You are either allowed to pay for it when you drop it off or when you pick it up. I opted for paying for it when I dropped it off because I knew that in the past, it was always very professional and the work was top-tier quality. This used to be my favorite laundromat, but not anymore. It has many good qualities but I have…read morerecently changed the pricing scheme for the dryers to be what I consider practically a scam. It used to be that a quarter would buy you several minutes, but they have changed the dryers to have a $1 minimum charge. What this means is that if your laundry is not quite dry after the first round of drying and you don't get to the dryer before the cycle ends, You are not able to put in a quarter to get a few extra minutes to get it dry. You are stuck with the $1 minimum charge. This is not just extremely annoying, It represents a pettiness on the part of the owner.... that they are trying to get 75 extra cents from a customer who only needs 25 cents more time. So, sadly, after many years of loyalty to this establishment I will be looking for a new laundromat.

At the latter, there is no minimum. You can walk in with a single shirt. If you shop around in Alameda, you can get it down to $2. The help here is not the friendliest. Bringing them clothing seems to be a bother. Also, they do not offer 24 hour service on some days. I believe they have pickups to their central wholesale cleaning service two days per week. So if you time it right, you could get your clothes back in a day, but most often that will not occur. Parking is tough! Its on a busy retail street with meters.
