Despite showing my records, I was simply told that I did not have an appointment. There was no effort to review my information, acknowledge the inconvenience, or offer a meaningful solution. Instead, I was told they could not do my hair that morning. What disappointed me most was not just the scheduling issue--it was the lack of professionalism, accountability, and empathy. Mistakes can happen in any business, but how those mistakes are handled is what leaves a lasting impression. After making a significant drive and rearranging my morning, I expected at least an apology or an attempt to accommodate me. Unfortunately, this experience left me without the service I had scheduled and forced me to find another stylist at the last minute. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Ngozi's Braiding and Beauty Supply to anyone looking for a salon that is dependable, organized, and values its customers' time. This is my second disappointing experience with Ngozi's Braiding and Beauty Supply in Stockbridge. During my previous visit, an adult stylist began my hair, but before the service was finished, two young girls completed the braids. After I got home, I realized the quality was unacceptable. The braids were uneven, with some noticeably longer than others, and several in the back came loose. I contacted the salon, sent photos, and explained the issues. I was told that my next visit would be discounted to make things right. Based on that promise, I scheduled another appointment on July 10 for August 1. The experience felt dismissive, and I left without having my hair done. The combination of these two experiences has left me with very little confidence in this salon. First, I received a hairstyle that was not completed to an acceptable standard after being finished by children rather than experienced adult braiders. Then, when I returned after being promised that the situation would be corrected, my appointment could not be honored despite my documentation. I value honesty, professionalism, and respect for customers' time. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Based on my personal experiences, I cannot recommend Ngozi's Braiding and Beauty Supply in Stockbridge. Now for my honest feedback: * I wanted boho medium-large braids and brought 2 bundles, but in hindsight I should've brought 3-4 because I personally prefer more fullness. * The main issue (and the reason I took off 2 stars) is that my hair started shedding almost immediately. I just got it done on Saturday, and already a lot of the human hair I paid extra for is coming out. She is very friendly and nice to talk to but I need my hair to match what I paid for and it doesn't. If you ask for a pic, that to me indicates you can look at the pic and reproduce the style. Lastly, within days my hair had the frizzies and it is because she did not put gel on the hair as she has done in the past. I believe that will be my last time going there.
