Of course they take care of the hull cleaning, but they spend a good amount of time going over my running gear, zincs and associated hardware to ensure safe, proper operations. They keep a close eye out for anything that looks out of place. These people know boats and know when something does not look right. Should you need them for a special purpose, they are always there avaiolable to send a diver down to take care of an issue you may have. The cleanliness of the bottom of a boat affects boat speed, fuel use and the life of your bottom paint-all which can be expensive. So, you want to pick a service carefully. Dockside Divers have been contracted on our boat since we brought it up from Mexico for approximately 9 months. They have been very professional and easy to work with we have talked to them on the phone and the divers in the dock. We have chatted when we were checking on the state of the zincs and if they had the exact one or if we wanted to use our own. I will be checking the bottom from the water when we go over to Mariner's Cove. I will update when I check on the cleanliness of the bottom.

As a long-distance buyer, I had to rely on their reputation for honesty and accuracy. Broker Tom Cardosa dealt with me in an outstanding mannedr. He answered all my questions, provided substantial documentation of the boat, and was just easy to work with. Unfortunately, on the survey, it was discovered that the engine had a bit of a problem. It was still under warranty, so Tom arranged to have the engine replaced. They took the boat to an authorized dealer for the engine, who had the boat for several months, with apparently no progress. I eventually decided to cancel the purchase. Tom had my substantial deposit returned immediately. So while I didn't get the boat, I did have a very good experience dealing with Tom & Kusler Yachts.
