Best restaurant in town. Get away from the crowds and enjoy a high quality meal. We had the ribeye and seafood pasta. It was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. The ribeye was cooked perfectly. The best part is the location, the views are phenomenal. Full glass floor to ceiling with views of the mountains and airplanes flying. Must try: twice cooked quail. The huckleberry sauce and the stuffings work well together. Buffalo tortellini: the Buffalos are very tender and juicy. The tastes is clearly bison and not beef. First off, it's THE restaurant at the West Yellowstone airport and if you go there in the winter when the airport is closed, December to May, parking is right there in front along the drop off curb. Right where you are not suppose to park and parking is absolutely forbidden at every airport in the country. Hop out and walk through the door to Gate 2 and you'll be treated to a very nice restaurant. Food is delicious. We had the shrimp bruschetta and walnut pear salad for starters and then entrees were the sockeye salmon and Panang Chicken. So good. Wish I had pictures. So I walked around grab a bar towel and being to wipe down the bar Bartender yells says your not supposed to be back there. I know this but your bar is dirty. The calamari has a funny taste. Sweet and a little spicy calamari. It seems they went to buy the Thai chicken sauce(Thai chicken sweet and spicy sauce) and dump in there The white dish, that is the special, is spinach ravioli was just ok nothing special at all. We decided to have a nice sit down dinner at this establishment after spending a long day driving through Yellowstone National Park. We were famished since we could not eat a full-meal in the park since we were not staying there. (Apparently the food establishments in the park are for parking guests only). Although all were not pictured between the 6 of us we got the following dishes: black angus ribeye steak, burger, seafood pasta, butternut squash ravioli, trout escapade, panang chicken, broccoli cheese soup, Cesar salad, and the house salad. All our dishes were good. They were on the more expensive side but honestly, most food in this town is priced on the higher side. I'm not sure if it has to do with seasonal demands or because it is a tourist area. It's probably a combination of both. The service was adequate and fairly quick. Overall, we did not have any complaints. Everyone was well-satisfied with their dishes. I enjoyed the trout which was tender and delicious. A bit on the oily side but it wasn't a bad thing. The atmosphere was quiet and intimate. The seats were comfortable. Although we were still dressed in hiking clothes they did not hold it against us and the other people there were casually dressed so we did not feel out of place. All in all it is a cute restaurant. There is a patio out back with lights strung across the area. The building itself is dated like most buildings in this area but it wasn't in disrepair. I would recommend stopping by if you're looking for 'fancy' food. They do have elk medallions to try. If I return I may go for that next time. Insider tip: they do not allow split checks so come prepared for that! Tip is also included in the final price. That seems to be the practice in Wyoming in general. In terms of fine French dining I've dined at the Tour D'Argent in Paris and I would say that it would be unfair to compare the two. read more

We are back in West Yellowstone this summer, and ate here last night. They've made a major upgrade to their location, they now have a dog friendly patio! We are ecstatic and will return once again with our pup, who absolutely loves dinners out. The patio is around the corner from the restaurant entrance, and they've done a nice job setting it up with fairly lights and comfy tables and chairs. Food was great, especially in this remote location where everything else in town is mostly burgers, fried food and generally junk food offerings that make you feel poorly. The food here included sun dried tomato crostini, a spinach salad that was so fresh and delicious and then I had a pasta with veggies and he had the salmon. We were both very happy with our meals. My only complaint would be there was too much sauce on my pasta, but I can live with that. It is nice to have more upscale option in town, and especially nice to find a dog friendly patio! read more

Best little Bistro in town! If you're passing through West Yellowstone, Serenity Bistro is one of the top restaurants in town. They are consistent with their home-cooked bistro meals. I highly recommend the trout piccata! It is flavorful and the light. The salads are always fresh, and the staff is always so warm and welcoming. If you have a party larger than three people, please be advised that this Bistro is quite small. The service is very good, however if you have a larger party and there is a wait, you may be stuck waiting a little bit longer. The food is definitely worth it especially if you're staying a few days in town. Serenity Bistro is a must. read more

I've been twice to their new airport location ! What a fabulous experience,,first the ambiance at the new airport was wonderful and that's just the beginning. What a wonderful meal for my birthday dinner. I needed something to brighten the day, as this was the day all of Yellowstone National Park closed due to flooding! The restaurant is small and very different from the many "western" themed dining options in town. The server (Owner?) also named Diana, was friendly and quick to bring anything you needed. We started with the spinach artichoke dip, which was almost mousse-like and loaded with garlic that we licked the bowl! My daughter said it was the best she has had! The soup of the day was a chicken couscous that was light, flavorful and full of fresh veggies and chicken without being salty. Hubby had the Panang Chicken, which I tasted and it was amazing! So creamy with a nice spice and silky rice noodles. He said his review is "This is not a tourist restaurant, this place is for foodies!" I can tell he loved it! Daughter had the Buffalo tortellini, which was excellent and had nice pieces of Buffalo among tricolor pasta. I had the elk medallions which were exceptional! Those reviewers that complained about "tough" - should stick to eating filet mignon (tender but flavorless! Remember that elk is game meat.) - this elk was PERFECT! Cooked perfectly medium rare with a blueberry reduction the meat was delicious and (for elk) very tender. The potatoes were fresh and flavorful and the mixed veggies were also just right. We were so full after our meal that we passed on dessert, but that lava cake smelled delicious from the table behind! Next time! Don't be fooled by the location. This is 5 star all the way. Tiny charming place with mouth watering delicious food. Thai calami is the best I've had ever! No chewy calamari here! Trout piccata was delicately flavored, perfectly plated with veggies also perfectly cooked. I wish I'd been able to eat half. YIKES! Choose somewhere else. Somewhere cheaper that actually serves fresh food. My guess is that this trout has been thawed and then frozen a dozen times as it's smushed and watery. First, this place is small. The booth along the two walls can only sit 4 people each. There are tables in the middle that you can pull them into a long table. It can only accommodate up to 8 people. We have party of 6 so it is okay. We ordered serenity salad, pear walnut salad, porter house pork chop, trout escalope, wild sockeye salmon. Salad and pork chop were just okay. We were really looking forward to this spot after looking at the menu posted outside. When we arrived there was only one other table filled. It took a while for us to be able to order wine and appetizer as the only server working was preparing the orders and salads for the other table. Once we ordered food came fairly quickly. They were out of their house wine and only one sold by the glass so we had to go another route. The calamari was excellent. Very tender and great sauce on it. We then had the elk tenderloin with mashed potatoes. The tenderloin was inconsistent in its cuts, the thinner cuts overcooked and a bit tough. The mashed potatoes were forgettable. We had the chocolate cake which honestly tasted store bought. My biggest issue was the table. It had a black table cloth covered with fresh butcher paper. Between customers, the butcher table was replaced but the tablecloth was never cleaned and ours was filthy. Not to mention the butcher paper was constantly getting caught up in our hands, noisy and just not expected in a more upscale restaurant. Service was good. read more

Walked by and saw this place. They have the menu in the window with prices and it sounded good. So, the place is very small with only 10 tables. Very crowded! I ordered the Trout Piccata and my wife had the Seafood Pasta. Both dishes came with a house salad and we ordered a glass of white wine to go with the meal. My trout came with the vegetables of the day and the grain of the day. I got mixed veggies but the grain was couscous. The veggies were ok but the couscous was cold and just a giant lump. The light breading came off in large chunks leaving the fish with no flavor. My wife's pasta contained shrimp and scallops. The shrimp were very over cooked and were in the shell. So peal your shrimp first and get dirty hands. Our server did not seem to have a grasp on what she was doing. She came back and asked if we had gotten our salads and wine. Obvious, no wine glasses on the table. The atmosphere is nice and prices are fair for here but mediocre food and service is a real turn off. Many other restaurants here are far better. read more

Came here on a weekday evening and service was extremely slow. Our party ordered the Thai calamari, pesto pasta, bison tortellini, trout piccata, and seafood pasta. Calamari was really "flash fried" in that it definitely was not fried long enough. It was also soaked in the sauce, which made it soggier. If it were fried for longer and had sauce on the side, it would have actually been decent. The trout tasted as if it hadn't been seasoned and the vegetables still tasted frozen. The bison tortellini had a little flavor, but that primarily came from the boat-load of cheese on top. The bison medallions themselves didn't have much taste and the tortellini was equally flavorless without any accompanying cheese on top. Would say the dish sans cheese over top was like making love in a canoe - f***ing close to water. Seafood pasta was ok - somewhat bland but edible. The pesto pasta, to their credit, was actually pretty good. I grabbed a bunch of the sauce and doused my tortellini in it. IF you come here, I would recommend getting the pesto pasta. read more

Please don't pay attention to the bad reviews. The food is good and HEALTHY. 99% of the places in town are bar food. If you want a healthy meal and an awesome glass of wine after a long day at Yellowstone go here. Make a reservation, it's busy and the seating is limited. The staff are incredibly nice and hard working. They also run euro cafe which is also super good. I had the pan seared chicken, crostini and chateau wine and cab sav. We came here after a long day in the park, craving something new and delicious outside of bar food. We walked in and it wasn't busy at all. Considering it's the off season I wasn't surprised. We sat down and ordered. Hostess/server was so so nice, and service was quick. I ordered the sockeye salmon and my husband ordered the bison medallions. The salmon came with cous cous and broccoli. The menu mentioned some sort of lime mint sauce. What I got what not at all that. I got a filet of salmon drowned in sweet chili sauce and some broccoli that was waterlogged and certainly frozen at some point. The salmon even with the sauce was very flavorless. The whole dish lacked flavor unfortunately. The elk medallions were supposedly medium rare- but very tough and over seasoned. Mashed potatoes lacked flavor as well and the blueberry compote just missed the mark. So sorry as the service was excellent but the food was not worth $70. Bummer. read more

Bison was fair but served cold after 1-1/2 wait. Service was non existent even with five plus wait staff having plenty of time for conversation among themselves. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli and there was significantly more noodle than filling, the spice was flavoring, and the filling lacked the butternut squash flavor. Did not get the opportunity to send back as they were too busy to check on us. Side salads were pretty good. Good beer selection. We came here and tried three main courses which are ribeye, pork rib and elk. The ribeye is too normal. It gives a feeling of "average taste". However, comprare to the ribeye, pork rib is more likely to be recommended, because the smoked taste of the pork meat satisfies my meat lover's feeling. I ordered elk, because it is not an ordinary meat that can be consumed at most of restaurants. The elk meat itself has a strong meat taste, but they smartly use grounded blueberries to reduce the strong meat taste. The taste is fair enough. I will give this restaurant a rate maybe slightly above three star, because it is above average and is better than most of the "tourist style" restaurant in this area. read more
