I'm a few days late posting this, but Monday night's Beer Dinner at Cigar City Brewing was too good not to share. @lokocuisine put out some killer mole dishes and @cigarcitybrewing paired them with some excellent Beer Week releases before they officially drop throughout the week, including the 2026 Hunahpu. It was also a great kickoff to Cigar City's final week at their Spruce Street location. I've been drinking great beers and eating great food here for years. A lot of great memories with friends and the amazing people who have been serving us along the way. Sad to see this chapter close, but excited to see what their next chapter in Ybor holds. Priced right considering it's at the airport. Everyone of the staff that I talked with, including our waitress were great and super friendly! The amount of seats and where they are located seemed to work during our time waiting for the plane. Although the sun setting could blind the bartender and anyone facing the windows, the bar tender at the time made it look easy and worked right through it all. I ordered the tater tot appetizer with pulled pork and a few mojitos. The first mojito was amazing. The second was crazy sweet and did not quite live up to the first. Considering the price of drinks, that was the only true disappointment I had. Loved the tots and loved that they didn't sauce up the pulled pork. Ordered the spicy buffalo chicken sandwich. Not very spicy and sauce was very light runny and not something anyone put thought in to Chicken was moist but the outer part was not seared very well. We had a little time at TPA waiting for our flight so we decided to check out Cigar City Brewing. It was nice to sit in a restaurant rather than a food court. There was a short wait for a table, but for the most part tables turn fairly quickly. Our server was friendly and seemed knowledgeable about the menu. I had the blackened grouper with tots. I sat at the bar during a layover. The bartender was excellent. I really dislike QR codes for ordering don't mind viewing the menu that way. He was understanding, like me too ugh and took my order. We came here to dine in and eat. The waitress was okay. She did give me wife extra tea, but did not refill our water. Food does take awhile to get so make sure you give yourself an hour of time to get. We ordered the Crab BLT and the Fish Sandwich which tends to be popular in Tampa. Crab BLT was good as I ended up eating all and the tots were good too. I did like the fish burger as well. We had yuca fries as well for an additional $3 dollars. Sweet tea was great as well. Our flight was delayed so we decided to come sit and eat and I'm glad we did. The prices are slightly more since it's in an airport, but not as bad as other airport restaurants I've seen. I felt a bit bad for our server as he was the only server working and there were a lot of tables. We started with Cuban Buffalo Crispy Boys, which were really good wings. Lots of flavor and perfectly cooked. For food, we got the Brewhouse Cheeseburger, Havana Hot Chicken Sammich and a Caesar Salad. The salad came with a lot of food and the lettuce was fresh with very crispy croutons. The cheeseburger was good, but slightly overcooked. Nothing unique about it, but a decent burger overall. The hot chicken sammich was good, but really tiny. The amount of fries and tater tots we got was also pretty disappointing. If they're going to serve such a small amount, then they should get smaller trays/plates to not make it look so empty. Overall, really not bad for an airport restaurant. read more

This restaurant is inside the Tampa Airport. We stopped at 11 am for lunch before a flight. The menu has salads and sandwiches and appetizers. Our server was so friendly and sweet. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries. Food came out quickly and was hot. I asked for no pink on the burger and I sure got that. Looks like the best of what this part of the airport terminal has to offer, sit-down meal wise. I would have to say that even with the expensive airport prices, this place is great for sitting down and having a decent meal while you wait for your flight. read more

Nice airport restaurant. Very clean and the food is a great value. I was shocked the amount of food for the money; burgers were cooked to order and my medium burger was perfect! Our waiter was hilarious, he had funny names for everything which helped to ease my travel partners flying anxiety and get her laughing. A quick guide to just a few his comments. Tomato smoothy = ketchup Virgin Long Island = unsweetened ice tea Hunting instruments = utensils It was a great dining experience and the service was excellent. Restaurant area was clean and well organized. Chairs were pushed in and orderly at vacant tables which makes the whole place look more organized. For Airport food, this place was pretty good! It is a cool environment and all the waiting staff was friendly. Our waitress was very helpful and accommodating. There definitely could've been more on the shrimp cocktail, especially for the price. The fish sandwich and fries however were a pretty big portion. First time here. The beer was great! Had the dark ale and IPA Fancy Papers. The margarita flatbread was good. The dirty pork sandwich was delicious. The steak sandwich had so much flavor! For airport food, I was pretty impressed by the selections and quality of this food. This was a nice meal to prepare for our next trip which did get delayed, but the experience of this meal was not lowered. I ordered a burger for myself which was juicy and cooked perfectly. The hot wings were an order shared between my friends and I. The caesar salad was ordered by another friend of mine. The caesar salad was your run of the mill "plastic pre packed" so we were not very impressed by that, but the food made in the facility was well done. Of course, location wise it is an airport lounge grill made specifically for people with connecting flights or waiting for their flight to take off. I think if they had the opportunity to have a location outside of the airport gates, that this place could do well. read more

I've been looking forward to trying Cigar City's Tampa taproom for years, and while I didn't make it this most recent trip, I was excited to try their airport location. I was there about 6:00 p.m. or so on a weeknight and it looks like it had just been busy, so I missed the crowd. They seemed a little understaffed, which is understandable in the pandemic, as the tables were not cleared quickly after others had dined and it took a while for a server to come by. My server was really nice and attentive once she did get to me. She explained that it's better to order with her than through the online system, however I had already ordered online. Online worked fine and everything came out fairly quickly. The food was really good. I had the pretzel bites and the grouper sandwich with yuca fries. I love grouper and this sandwich was big and tasty. The pretzel bites were delicious and so were the fries. The Guayabera beer was light and crisp, making it an excellent accompaniment to my meal. Cigar City is a great option when at Tampa Airside C and I'd happily return. read more

Flight Delay and wouldn't you know it, I'm hungry! I walked the full C terminal and trusted my handy Yelp app to help me land on an option. Happy to say that Yelp didn't let me down!! Around 7p and the terminal is getting busy with evening flights. The seat yourself option here was convenient because it allowed quick seating and you also have the option to order yourself using the barcode on the table or order with the wait staff. Nicole assisted me this evening and she was friendly and worked with a sense of urgency given the nature of the airport environment. $50 for dinner got me a 9oz Alamos Malbec, Side Salad w/Ranch, Tampa Cubano w/Fries and a 1pint bottle of Fiji water. It's the airport, so it's expected to see inflated pricing and given that this is a full service sit down restaurant, it made sense to me. Tampa serves their Cuban with salami along with the pork and the ham and I am happy to report that it does give the sandwich an added flair. The pork was very tender and the flavors of the dijionnaise complimented very well. Traditional Cuban bread pressed with crispy edges like you want it and Pickles to round out the taste. Fries were hot and come seasoned. Salad is a bit too small for the $6 price tag it comes with. Wine was very good! 9oz so that you sleep on the plane, get that! Overall, if you are in Terminal C, spend the extra money and bet on this place. read more

I love Cigar City brews. And to have a location in the airport is a treat. While the floors and chairs are a bit dirty since there is a quick turn around. They were delicious though. The burger has beer cheese that oozes out when you bite into it. Yum, so I dipped my fries in the cheese that oozed out. The burger was cooked perfect for me with crunchy pickles, onions, tomato, and lettuce. All the veggies were fresh. And well the beer! You just have to have a beer. Talk about a great find! It's always a struggle to find a good spot to eat and relax in airports and to find Cigar City Brewery right at our gate was a great surprise! My friend took me to this brewery after work. It's right near the office. They have a wide variety of different beers available here. They had I believe 3 different hazy IPA's. I had to try them all because I just had to ha. The paper one is amazing. It has enough right ingredients to taste terrific. The service was quick. The place itself is large inside.
