Please be aware of the labeling issue with takeout orders. We ordered one meal for my elderly parents with Mild #1 and Mild #4, and a separate bag for me with the Hot #1 Combo. Unfortunately, the labels were switched, so my parents received the spicy meal and could barely eat it. My meal was not spicy at all. We live quite far away and didn't realize the mistake until after we started eating, so it was too late to go back. The problem was clearly caused by the wrong labels being placed on the meals. Please make sure employees are properly trained to double-check the labels before handing out orders. I love me some Nashville Hot Chicken, but I'm not so "hot" on fast-food. The other day my "hangriness" drove us to Angry Chickz. And first we were alarmed because we could see no one was in the establishment... maybe not a good sign. But when we walked in, we noticed one of the employees diligently wiping down all of the tables - and the entire place was sparkling clean. She stopped what she was doing and greeted us behind the counter. We were mulling over the four simple menu choices, and she steered us to splitting one. We decided on the Number #1 - sliders - Hot spice level cause I like it hot. When our food was ready, we were shocked, and I do mean, shocked, to find they had split the meal for us. Two different trays, two different plates of fries and one slider each. I'm not sure I've ever experienced that at a fast food restaurant, or even a semi casual dining place without specifically asking. Nice touch customer service wise! To be honest, I wasn't expecting much as far as the food goes. After all, it's chicken and it's semi-fast food chicken. I couldn't have been more wrong. The generous, all white meat tender on the slider was perfectly moist and delicious! The Hot level of seasoning was perfect for me, but a little much for my husband. I think they spell it out correctly on their menu board... Hot-feel the burn, Medium - perfect heat. The coleslaw and the pickles on the slider were a perfect cooling accompaniment. I'm pretty picky about my coleslaw and theirs was very good. The special sauce on the side also added some Yum factor. The fries were hot, crispy, and delicious. Overall, this was so much better than I was expecting. Very clean and spacious interior with striking design from its grand chicken to red walls. I ordered the angry Mac and the classic #4 of 2 chicken tenders, pickles, coleslaw, and buttery rice. The restaurant attracts a lively crowd of people from teenagers, families, and the elderly while I was waiting for my food. It took about 10 minutes for my order to be complete. I asked about the difference between medium and mild spice levels, and she told me medium was too spicy and recommended mild instead. I agreed and ordered mild. When I received my order, it was country with no heat. I politely mentioned that I had ordered mild, and she responded, "You did?" as if I was unsure about my own order.. This place is all hype and marketing. They need to spend more on the chicken and less on marketing. I was disappointed at the quality of the chicken, yes it's warm so that's a start, but it's not flavorful and it desperately needed sauce to save it. The place itself isn't bad, it does remind me of Dave's Hot Chicken, if not almost identical. I got the number 1 combo, and they threw on a LOT of pickles, and I'm not a fan of having the sandwiches drenched in pickle juice. The slaw was great! I should've asked for more. The one downside is that when you ask for honey, you don't get much, I believe I was only given 2 packets, and if you want sauce, that's an extra charge. We all thought the chicken was plump on the inside and crispy on the outside, with "medium" being a good amount of heat. The sauce is like a chipotle mayo that went well the spice. The fries were really good when eaten fresh, and the slaw was decent. Also, the portions are large and we each could only eat half of our orders. Gavin had the Combo #1 as well but his was "Country." Gavin enjoyed his meal very much. Both of us cleaned it w/o a crumb left behind. I ordered via DoorDash, so I cannot comment on much. Got the rice special and the loaded mac and cheese. We got hot. The cashier clarified the level that we wanted and explained it was similar to a ghost pepper. Enough for me to take sips of water here and there. I liked that the batter was crispy and there weren't too many chunks of just batter. It also did not separate easily from the meat which is great. I found that the rice was unevenly cooked. Some grains were long like basmati while others were broken. Some parts were dry while others were moist and stuck together. The bottom of the rice though? Man... it's dangerous! I think it was like pure buttery liquid. We saved the rice into a bowl so we just had a leftovers of buttered rice but I don't even want to know how many calories were in that. I just know it was delicious. My brother's mac and cheese with spicy chicken and fries on the bottom was super heavy. We got the same level so it was still spicy but the richness of the cheese balanced out the spice a bit. Really solid choice although the fries at the bottom got soggy.
