Came here with my little ones for an early dinner after taking them to a funtrupolis. We usually order takeout when we eat at bon chon but decided to come here and eat the wings fresh. We ordered a 20 piece wings - soy garlic, sweet potatoes fries and kimchi cucumber. The wings came out fresh, crispy and juicy. There were a very pieces that were overly fried which is the reason I gave it 4 stars. The sweet potatoes fries were surprisingly very good. They were crispy, light and airy. The kimchi cucumber was standard - was expecting the quantity to be a little more but did the job. These wings are definitely a lot better when you eat them made to order (obviously). It was not very busy when we came but the service was great. He was attentive, refilled our waters multiple times and got our food out quickly as I let him know we were in a rush. This place and Vons are our goto places for Korean fried chicken. Def recommend coming here to eat! read more

One of the worst Bonchon I ever been to if you have tried other Bonchon places you can tell the difference. Customer service was good. This was my first time being here and ordered. 10 pc chicken wings and a plain tiny coleslaw the size of my pinky. The chicken wings had to much breading also dry and had patches of the sauce. It had been a long time since my last visit, and unfortunately, the experience wasn't what it used to be. For a weekend lunch, there was only one staff member working the entire floor. Because they were clearly understaffed, I was asked to sit at a different table while the waiter--who was very polite despite the stress--cleared up after a large party from an hour prior. We ordered the sampler. The food was just okay, but the Soy Garlic wings were quite salty (perhaps they're meant to be paired with a beer?). The most disappointing part was the restroom, which was dirty and clearly hadn't been checked in a while--another side effect of not having enough help. I am very upset with this location right now. I placed an order on Monday online, my pick up was scheduled for 9:01pm, if they close at 9pm they shouldn't let me order online. I didn't realize they closed at that time. I went to the wrong location, I thought I ordered from the Santa Teresa location. I called and the lady told me I can cancel the order. I couldn't figure out how to cancel the order so I tried to call back to see if I could still head that way to pick up my order and they wouldn't answer the phone. The next day I called at 11am to either get a refund or pick up my order and I was told that a manager will have to help me and if I don't hear from the manager to call back 24 hours from then. I called back just now and I was told now to wait 48 hours to hear from a manager. I don't understand why I can't just pick up the order. I'd prefer a refund at this point. I will wait until Friday to hear back from a manager. I don't feel like this should be that complicated. read more

I don't know why folks have reviewed this place so low. I've been coming here for 9 years straight. It's funny I've never reviewed them before but no more delay! They deserve a shout out! Food: is finger licking good and very very flavorful! They have a range of dishes to cater to both vegetarian and non vegetarian palates! Good spice range as per your tolerance! We love their drumsticks and wings, loaded fries and tacos and everything on the menu really! Over the decade, we've managed to have almost everything off of their menu and not once have been disappointed! That's got to mean something and that's why we keep coming back! :) Service: We were yet again served by gracious Connor. Service is great! No complaints at all. Nailed it! Exactly what Korean fried chicken should be. If you are looking for classic, perfectly executed Korean fried chicken, this Blossom Hill location is it. Every visit is totally satisfying. The sweet, crunchy breading combined with the tender chicken meat is exactly what you expect from a great spot. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place if you are looking for delicious juicy fried chicken. Perhaps it was because I got this food delivered but my chicken was very dry and overcooked. The Soy Garlic and the Spicy Chicken both tasted pretty similar. Next time, I hope it will be better. The fried rice was delicious! The Kimchi was flavorful! Newly discovered Korean fried chicken place .. it was amazinggggg!!!! I had chicken wings for two back to back days from here.. I tried three flavors and all were great. The second day I ended up ordering some drums too which were a hit with my kid.. we got the soy garlic, the Korean BBQ and Yangnyeom. There is a subtle difference between all three of them so I honestly didn't know which was which while eating them but can honestly say that ALL of them tasted incredible. The lady who prepped my order was incredibly sweet and really helped me get my order ready. She even helped me get the right sauce as well as clean it up when it got messy. I really enjoy Bonchon and keep coming back for their soy garlic chicken. The chicken is perfectly crispy with a satisfying crunch on the outside while staying juicy and tender inside. The soy garlic sauce is rich and flavorful, with a great balance of sweet and savory. A few more visits since my last update, so adding new information for you. I noticed they got new menus during the summer. On one visit, in addition to our regular orders, we tried their japchae. Another time, we ordered the fried zucchini. Granted, they were nice big pieces of zucchini, but they seemed like they were better suited for an Italian restaurant. I haven't been to any Bon Chon locations since Covid time and I noticed that their chicken menu has shrinked. I remembered they used to have more sauces option than now, unless I was wrong... Anyhow, today's experience was not bad. I took my team out to lunch, none of them had Korean fried chicken before, and they all loved Bon Chon after today's visit. I might have higher expectation but as long as my team was satisfied, all good! Chicken wings were all saucy and crispy. Their signature sauce was really good, not too spicy, not too salty. The soy garlic in my opinion is too salty and lack of garlic taste. Bibimbap needs extra care, I think. The rice was not crispy at the bottom of the bowl. I think they need to heat up the bowl more, it was pretty room temperature when it was served to us (meaning, it was cold). Japchae was good, and we really appreciate that they were ok to substitute beef for tofu, as one of our team member didn't eat beef. House fried rice was the best of today's visit. It was the first thing to be finished by our team today. 5 star to the server. Solid bonchon! Sometimes they can be hit or miss depending on the location but this place had great wings that were cooked nicely. Spicy was actually spicy and soy garlic was a hit as usual. I ordered takeout and it was ready within 20 minutes. Service was quick! Space overall is big and it wasn't too packed on a Friday night. My only gripe was that the steamed rice here was very dry and tasted a day old! Their fries though were amazing. They packed a huge bag for one serving - reminded me of five guys fry amounts! 06/18/23 - Bonchon I arrived at my go-to Bonchon location. As usual, there was plenty of parking available. I typically order online and pick up. The staff is always kind and helpful. As always, the food was delicious. I order the wings and drumsticks (spicy and soy garlic). The spicy wings have a nice kick! Also ordered there sliders, WOULDN'T recommend the sliders. Bonchon will always be my favorite KFC joint. There are many locations in the area but I think this location is by far the cleanest and most spacious. We came here for dinner on a Friday night and it wasn't busy at all which was great for us because we were starving. Probably 3 other tables were occupied. Fortunately, they had an anniversary special going on of 20 wings for $22. When it came out, we noticed there were also drumsticks so maybe it's actually both for $22. This deal doesn't come with their usual free side of coleslaw or radish. My personal favorite is the spicy which has a sriracha kick. Not really all that spicy though. The soy garlic for me is a bit too soy sauce based and sweet. Some of the wings weren't throughly sauced; though in being that way, I realized just how good the crispy breading was.
