Came here and got my usual - the $10 meal deal. It was good, but not as good as the habit burger on Stevens creek in Cupertino. I had been to the Cupertino location and they gave me huge portions. But here, everything seemed smaller from the green beans to the sandwich. It still tasted the same though. The lady taking my order was pretty nice. Th kiosk didn't take card so I had to order in person for cash. The ambiance is pretty good. The food is fine, but not really special. Solid is the best descriptor I can think of. I had the veggie burger this last time - you can see a picture of it. Not bursting with ingredients, no spartan either - just middle of the road. Location is convenient, though parking can be hard to find. Employees are friendly and orders are ready on time when you order via app. Taste is again fine. Among all the better than fast food burger places, this is kind of middle of the road. Came to this location to pick up a veggie cheese burger with grilled onions using my birthday offer. I really appreciated that they continued to have this generous birthday offer. My burger was ready when I arrived and staff were very friendly. The burger was still warm when I got home. Their veggie burger tasted super healthy. The veggie patty was on a toasted wheat bun, and topped with green leaf lettuce, tomato/cucumber slices, and melted white American cheese. The veggies were fresh and crispy, and the cheese was creamy. I loved that they provided the option to add grilled onions, too. I really enjoyed the burger I had here, the bun totally reminded me of how in n out does theirs with the toasted edges! The meat quality was nice, but I was slightly getting a tinge of freezer burn , which I was expecting. I also liked the bar of peppers to grab yourself, very convenient and fresh! I just went to the habit for the first time in years and was immediately reminded why I don't come here even if the food is half decent even if it's good it's just not worthwhile for the service. I ordered online and went to the store once I received the text message saying that my order is ready. I go to the pick up window I ask if my order is ready I'm told it's not, I'm told that it's not ready multiple times. Turns out "they're sorry" andit has waiting for me beside them because why would they care to look and see if my order is there. It's just this level of carelessness like you just don't care at all and it's so clear. In-N-Out is cheaper and has better service and I'm willing to bet money that they pay their workers better too it's just not worth the trip. read more

I am a regular here because my son loves the cute little gummy burger that comes with his kids meal. But that's the only thing he loves. We won't eat beef so we always fall back to the crispy chicken meal for him and we both feel the coating is way more than it should be. I always remove the coating before we can eat the chicken hiding in there. Or sometimes he just does it eat them and filll himself with fries instead :( Apart from that we live our grilled or crispy chicken sandwiches especially with sour dough bread! The rating I would give eating at the restaurant as opposed to door dash is 3.5. We got two char buggers with cheese, onion rings, and the sweet potato fries. I liked how the burger bun was crispy and how the pickles were very nicely distributed across the whole burger. I had a bite of pickle in every bite as opposed to where in door dash it was kinda all together in one corner. The beef is fine but underseasoned. I could actually taste the char. Their onion rings are nice and crispy albeit, a little oily. The sweet potato fries were lackluster. Yeah, they're orange and have flakes of salt and look to be lightly battered but really the taste of sweet is not there. What I'd want to try next time is their fried green beans as a side. I do like their plethora of toppings and sauces provided on the side bar area. The staff were extremely friendly and and place was comfy, clean, and warm. Yes, some can be better, some worse, but I don't usually think too much about it when I go to a burger place, just something to fill my tummy. So the price of a meal affects my review more than food quality, as long as service is ok. Place was clean. Service was basic. Nothing special, nothing bad during my visit. Food quality, compared to other chain burger joints, Habit is not bad, and I like that they have options to get onion rings or other sides instead of regular fries. The burger was not dry like McD, not greasy as 5Gs, seemed to be a tad bigger than I-n-O, maybe. But the price though ... Double Char w/ Cheese meal cost ~$18.5 after tax. After I paid, I just thought, that's a darn expensive burger meal. And after I finished my meal ... I thought, I should have gone to I-n-O instead where I can get similar meal for a lot less. So, overall not bad, but I'd probably opt for the other option as long as I am within a few minutes of driving from InO. read more

I'm not really a fast food fan, but I seem to find myself dining here often and the food is always consistent. I'm not a hamburger person, but the folks I've dined with here have remarked that the burgers are very good. Cooked properly and fresh. sometimes a little messy if you get one with a lot of toppings on it. This can be said for all sandwiches, so when you're getting all the things on your burger, be prepared with napkins and a fork. I've ordered many salads here and my favorite is the BBQ chicken salad. Several times I've tried fried chicken items (nuggets, fried chicken sandwich) and wasn't impressed. Fried chicken is not their strong suit and I do not recommend those items. That said, the grilled chicken sandwiches are always fantastic. I've ordered the veggie burger a few times and have enjoyed it. Ask for it to be cooked well done for best eating experience, otherwise the patty seems a little mushy in the middle. My favorite sides are the tempura green beans and onion rings. Perfectly done and never greasy. Fries are very good, too. I don't like that they charge now for a side of dressing or sauce if you want in addition to what your order comes with. The portion is very small and, while I get that restaurant profit margins are really narrow, it just feels like a way to bring in extra revenue. Restaurant is always clean. They do a great job of keeping the dining area, condiment bar, and soda bar tidy. Service is mostly fantastic with occasional impersonal (but by no means rude) service. Parking is a huge headache here and the developers gave no thought to ensuring abundant parking near the dining establishments. My family came down from Oakland to run a quick errand and decided to grab some Habit Burgers. It wasn't our first choice, but it was simple, and after our experiences with our local Habit Burgers, we just weren't really expecting a whole lot. However, I was quite surprised with the experience. We walked in, ordered from the kiosk and it was a quick wait. The grilled Chicken Caesar salad was fresh and filled with an adequate amount of greens, and the chicken was nice, hot, and fresh. For one of the salads, we ordered extra chicken and there was a good amount of extra chicken. My daughter had the Santa Barbara burger, which was also nice and fresh, along with the charburger for my husband. I would say it was one of the best experiences in many years and at many different Habit locations. I don't know if it was just a fluke, but this location of Habit blows all of my local Oakland Habits (San Leandro, Alameda, and Oakland) away in comparison. read more

Overall , this is a basic Habit , the place was cleaner than most and the food as expected was as expected. Tried the 10 dollar value meal , half a Santa Barbara , chicken nuggets and salad with a drink. The reason for the two star is the service , just very rude. Got the meal after they yelled out our number three times ... took us too long to get up I guess , about 15 seconds. Said thank you for the order , no response. Then notice no salad dressing so went up .... Waited nobody responded and finally the cashier who was helping someone said YES. I asked for some ranch and the response was " it's sixty cents". Now maybe that was something I was to order at the kiosk and maybe it does cost extra ( little strange dry salad might be the standard ) , but the response and service from time in to that encounter. Ordered pickup here for lunch. Wait was short but keep in mind the parking lot here is always crowded. Got two double charburgers and they were pretty disappointing. Nothing about the burgers were charred at all-- the patties were lightly browned, resembled meatloaf in texture, and the buns very pale, soft and did not appear toasted. Freshest part of the burger was the cheese. Definitely not worth the price premium compared to even the fast food options around here read more

This is my neighborhood habit grill. I eat here a couple times a month because they have a great veggie patty! I also like how this year they added the impossible patty so now I can alternate based on my mood ;). The downfall for this location is that it is superrrrr busy during dinner time and parking is often a challenge because it's located in such a huge shopping plaza. Even though it's super busy most of the time, the employees are very nice and welcoming. They are on top of keeping the restaurant clean. While waiting for my food I noticed the staff making sure the bar was clean and cleaning up the empty tables. This time I ordered the veggie sandwich with cheese and a side of tempura green beans. Their tempura green beans are my absolute favorite. They are my "healthier" alternative to fries lol. And their honey mustard is so good paired with the green beans! Sometimes I swap the wheat bun with sourdough which takes it up notch. The sourdough is grilled with butter fyi. Also, their grilled onions are not vegetarian. I love their black iced tea and they have lemon wedges in their side bar. Very solid burger that makes a consistent product! At a very fair price point, Habit is a great choice to have in your burger rotation! They have a variety of burgers and sandwiches depending on your craving but their signature burgers are the Charburgers which I recommend. I opted for my usual - the double char burger. Toasted bun with two well seasoned & juicy patties with melted American cheese alongside lettuce, tomatoes and grilled onions. It's a very simple take on the burger but very well executed. The highlight for me is the seasoning of the patties - super satisfying. They make a consistent product every time I come here so I know it's going to be made right every time. For you chili lovers - they have a bar where you can get unlimited fresh jalopenos, chilis, and pepperocinis. In my opinion, the chilis go extremely well with the burgers. Very spicy so be cautious! The fries are hot and fresh and the onion rings were crispy and delicious. However, the onion rings were a little on the greasier side so I was not able to finish them. In addition to the standard fountain drinks, they have thirst quenching limeades which I recommend trying out! Being in a relatively busy plaza, seating sometimes gets limited and it can be hard to find indoor seating which is not favorable during cold weather days. She was polite enough, so didn't mind the wait. Took my order to go. Ate a few fries in the car... They were COLD!! Can't understand this, because they were very busy in the restaurant When I got home and opened my bag, oh my goodness, such a disappointment !!! A #1 combo was something like $17 total, which seems somewhat high, but at least you can load up on banana peppers, jalapenos, and limes (what are the limes even for, anyways?
